Abstract

Applicator for coloring or bleaching product for hair tresses or other hair treatment, includes a lower jaw, planar and smooth on its base, constituting a coloring compartment or area fed by the treatment product, and an upper jaw, jointed with the lower jaw, maintained closed upon it through the action of a rebound spring, requiring the tip of the jaw which comprises a joint with a soft lip to clamp the selected tresses previously added to the coloring area on the lower jaw. The joint having a lip (9) has a tapered shape along its width making a distribution and spreading area for applying color, where the traction of the tool towards the rear naturally crushes a corner of dye and causes its natural diffusion inside each tress of hair. One or more moveable reservoirs containing the coloring composition, clamped above the upper jaw, feed the coloring compartment by pressing a button.

Description

The present invention relates to an applicator for dyeing product or bleaching hair locks or for any other hair treatment.

A current trend, in the hair field, is to create in the hair, colorations or discolorations of locks of hair giving effects more or less subtle and varied. Sometimes it is even appreciated to combine several different colors giving an even more spectacular effect.

Until today the coloring of locks of hair remained mostly business professionals, since we are looking for very subtle and lasting effects, but the expectation of the public is to be able to individually make his own hair decoration to the using simple and practical means.

Néanmoins ces instruments ou appareils, ayant souvent fait l'objet de brevets, restent souvent peu performants et ne règlent jamais l'ensemble des problèmes. Aucun ne permet de réaliser plusieurs colorations différentes simultanément sur mèches séparées.Concerning the creation of colored locks, there are many more or less complex processes. None allows to perform several different colors simultaneously on separate locks.

The present invention relating to an applicator for a dye or bleaching product for locks of hair or for any other hair treatment according to claim 1, solves all these difficulties, in particular by having the following possibilities:

• ➢ Fast realization of colored locks by respecting the required quality criteria such as a good regularity, an integral coloring of the root at the end of the wick ensuring its maximum longevity, a coloration without excess of product, avoiding unwanted stains and drips .
• ➢ Possible and simultaneous realization of locks of different colors.
• ➢ Confinement of coloring products in the device preventing any contact with the external environment, which avoids attacking the hands of the operator, which prevents the operator from inhaling toxic vapors, and which preserves the oxidation premature products, allowing an economical and optimal use of it.
• ➢ Prior extraction of the bits to be stained or treated regularly in predetermined sizes and spacings.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to an applicator for dyestuff or bleaching product of locks of hair or for any other hair treatment, according to a particular embodiment of embodiment, is shown in profile view on the Fig.1 and in plan view on the Fig.2 . This applicator is in the form of a clamp comprising a lower jaw 1 with handle 22, an upper jaw 2 with handle 23, a coloring zone fed by a reservoir 3 of coloring or treating product, a removable comb of selection of wicks 4 It will be noted that the jaws are deliberately offset laterally with respect to their corresponding operating handle.

The lower jaw 1 is flat and smooth at its base 5, and is a compartment or area of color thanks to the side walls 6. The upper jaw 2, which can be translucent to allow the operator to control the work taking place at the inside the apparatus, is articulated on the previous one at the axis 7 and is kept closed thereon by the action of the return spring 8. Thanks to the effect of this spring, the end of the jaw which comprises a flexible lip seal 9, strongly rests on the base 5 of the lower jaw on the one hand and seals at the side walls 6 on the other hand. The lip seal, which can also be translucent, has along its entire width a form of relief 10 ensuring a kind of distribution and distribution area for the application of coloring.

Another seal 13 located in the rear part of the upper jaw 2 prevents overflow of the product and undesirable leaks during the coloring work. The removable reservoir 3 having a main axis 14 containing the hair coloring composition is clamped above the upper jaw, comprising at its end a tubular duct 16 which engages in the feed orifice 12 passing through the upper jaw 2 then the lip seal 9 in its center. The main axis is equipped with a piston 17 sealed by the O-ring 18, for sliding inside the tank and having in the rear part a pusher 19 facilitating its depression. 1 a removable comb 4 is threaded

In the lateral part of the jaw 1 a removable comb 4 is threaded horizontally inside a groove 20 and then simply stuck by its slightly conical tenon shape. This comb comprises a series of teeth distributed 21 in arrangements corresponding to the desired spacings for the locks of hair to be colored. These teeth are optionally inclined thus facilitating the collection of locks of hair.

The procedure of this applicator is as follows:

The tank 3 is previously reloaded product: extraction of the piston 17 with the axis 14, filling the tank and replacing the piston. The operator then chooses the comb 4 corresponding to the spacing and the density of locks of hair to be colored. The locks are selected and held by one hand. With the other hand the clamp is opened by tightening the handles 22 and 23, then the locks are introduced laterally inside the opening, this operation is greatly facilitated by the fact that the operating handles offset laterally relative to the jaws allow the free passage of hair. The jaws are then brought closer to the nearest scalp, then the release of the handles allows the return spring 8 to apply an energetic pinch of the selected locks. Pressing on the pusher 19 of the reservoir makes it possible to inject the dye product inside the coloring zone, the latter remaining trapped between the deformable lip seal, the side walls 96 and the rear seal 13. The rearward traction the pliers naturally crushes, through the lip seal 9 the product uniformly distributed along its length, which induces its natural diffusion inside each of the locks of hair while the rear seal 13 avoids external overflows. The operation continues until complete release of the locks.

This operation is repeated as many times as necessary in order to treat all the hair.

In a variant, as shown on the Fig.3 and Fig.4 it is possible to add, in the lateral part of the jaw 2, a removable comb 29 identical to the comb 4 and whose teeth are perfectly in facing relation with the latter, threaded in the same way horizontally inside a groove 30 , then stuck simply by its shape slightly conical tenon. Thus, when the jaws 1 and 2 are closed, the two combs 4 and 29 are in perfect contact and are presented as a single comb. For the collection of locks of hair the procedure starts in the same way as in the case of a single comb but with the difference that when the clamp is opened, the jaws that move apart induce the separation of the two combs . In the case of thick locks and long or in the case of frizzy or curly hair unraveling is then greatly facilitated.

According to another particular embodiment as shown in the Fig.5 , the lower jaw 1 comprises a set of compartments made by the internal partitions 24, while the lip seal 25 is cut into several parts separately sealing each of the compartments, on the one hand at the base and secondly at the level of the respective side walls 6 or 24 as the case may be, the lip seal 25 having over its entire width of each of the compartments a relief shape 10 providing a kind of distribution and distribution zone for the application of the coloring. At the right of the coloring zone, at each of the compartments, a feed orifice 12 passes through the upper jaw 2, then the lip seal 25 at its center. At each of the openings of the orifices a specific reservoir clamped on the upper jaw comes to slip at its tubular duct 16. A stirrup 27, ensures simultaneous support on each of the push buttons tanks.

In this case, the operating mode of this applicator remains very similar to the previous except that the action on the stirrup 27 allows simultaneous depression of each piston which induces a different dye injection and separately in each of the compartments and thus to make colorations with varied hues.

According to another particular embodiment, the applicator is made with a packaging according to a disposable personal treatment application kit for festive or ephemeral coloration comprising a clamp according to claim 1 with a ready-to-use dye refill .

Claims (7)

1. An applicator for a hair strand dyeing or lightening product or for any other hair treatment, in the form of tongs, characterized by its lower jaw Rep.1, flat and smooth at its base which constitutes a compartment of a dyeing area supplied by the dye, lightener or treatment product, and then by its upper jaw Rep.2, which may be translucent so as to allow the operator to control the dye inside the device, joined on the previous one at the axis Rep.7, maintained closed on the latter by the action of the return spring Rep.8, forcing the end of the jaw to strongly press on the base of the lower jaw and therefore providing an energetic grip of the selected strands introduced beforehand in the dyeing area. The backward pull of the tongs naturally squeezing the product induces its natural diffusion inside each of the hair strands. The joint (13) situated in the backside of the superior jaw (2) avoiding the waste of product.

The applicator for a hair strand dyeing, lightening product or for any other hair treatment according to claim 1, characterized by a removable reservoir Rep.3 having a main axis Rep.14, containing the product for dyeing, lightening or for any other hair treatment, clamped above the upper jaw Rep.2, comprising at its end a tubular conduit Rep.16 which will fit into the feeding orifice Rep.12 passing through the upper jaw Rep.2, and then the lip seal gasket (9) in its centre at right angles to the dyeing area, the main axis having in the rear portion a push-rod Rep.19, equipped with a piston Rep.17 sealed by the O-ring Rep.18, allowing sliding inside the reservoir for pushing back the product into the dyeing area.

The applicator for a hair strand dyeing or lightening product or for any other hair treatment according to claim 1, characterized by the maneuvering handles Rep.22 and Rep.23 shifted sideways relatively to the jaws Rep.1 and Rep.2 such that, when the latter are open, free passage of the hair strands introduced sideways is strongly facilitated.

The applicator for a hair strand dyeing, lightening product or for any other hair treatment according to claim 1, characterized by a removable comb Rep.4 located in a side portion of the lower jaw Rep.1, slipped on horizontally inside a groove Rep.20 and then simply blocked by its slightly conical tenon shape, this comb comprising of a series of teeth distributed Rep.21 according to arrangements corresponding to the desired spacing for the hair strands to be dyed, these teeth may possibly be tilted, thereby facilitating the picking-up of hair strands.

The applicator for a hair strand dyeing or lightening product or for any other hair treatment according to claim 1, characterized by a second removable comb Rep.29 in a side portion of the superior jaw Rep.2, symmetrical to the comb Rep.4 and including teeth which are perfectly facing the latter, slipped on in the same way horizontally inside a groove Rep.30 and simply blocked by its slightly conical tenon shape, thus, when the jaws Rep.1 and Rep.2 are closed, both combs Rep.4 and Rep.29 in perfect contact and appearing as a single and unique comb, separate into two combs when the jaws open.

The applicator for a hair strand dyeing or lightening product or for any other hair treatment according to claims 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, characterized by the lower jaw Rep.1 comprising a set of compartments made by the internal partitions Rep.24, while the lip seal gasket Rep.25 is cut out into several portions sealing each of the compartments separately on the one hand at the base, and at the sidewalls Rep. 6 or Rep.24 joins at the lip (25) the lip seal gasket over the whole of its length of each of the compartments having a relieving shape Rep. 10 somewhat providing a distributing and spreading area for applying the dye, at each of the compartments, a feeding orifice Rep.12 passing through the upper jaw Rep.2, and subsequently the lip seal gasket (25) in its centre, at each of the inlets of the orifices a specific reservoir clamped on the upper jaw which will fit in at its tubular conduit Rep.16, the yoke Rep.27 allowing simultaneous pressure to be exerted on each of the push-buttons of the reservoirs.
7. An application kit for a hair strand dyeing or lightening product or for any other hair treatment comprising of an applicator, and according to the claims 1,2,3 characterized by its disposable packaging for individual treatment, for festive or short-lived coloration only comprising of tongs with its two jaws Rep.1 and Rep.2 forming a single narrow compartment for providing the treatment of a single strand, the reservoir Rep.3 being a ready-to-use refill.
