Description

Applicator hair products

Technical area

[0001] The present invention relates to capillary industry, particularly the field of dyeing hair.

State of the art

[0002] Various devices exist in the prior art for coloring strands of hair with a dye color.

[0003] The hair dye products is very significant, it is necessary to avoid as far as possible undesired contact between the product and the fingers of the user or stylist performing dyeing.

[0004] Many dyes are obtained by mixing two hair products, e.g., a dye and an oxidant. The mixture is unstable, it should be done just before application to the hair. This manipulation is often difficult and it is not uncommon that one of the products or the mixture flows on the floor, clothes or hands of the person making the mixture. [0005] EP-A1 -1433399 discloses a wicks applying device of a hair product mounted on a finger. The amount of product in the tank, however, is very limited and it is therefore necessary to replace the tank several times to make the complete dyeing of hair. On the other hand, this device only allows dyeing a wick to both ensure that the implementation is slow.

[0006] US-A1 -2008/000492 discloses another device in which the strands to be dyed are inserted between the two parts of the device closed by a hinge. The hair are guided through the device and dyed separately. A new application is very slow because each strand must be introduced separately into the device, then treated individually.

[0007] EP-A1 -1264559 discloses another device for applying into strands of a hair product. The device comprises a slot in communication with the reserve for the introduction of a drill bit to be dyed. The application is faster since the introduction of a drill bit in a slot is a fast action. The ability of the capillary reservoir can be significant. However, this device allows to dye one bit at a time, in a single color. Moreover, the cartridge does not stain using mixed components just before use.

[0008] The various existing patents so only treat the stain with a lock of hair by applying with a single dye color. No simple, convenient and time saving to dye hair with different colors simultaneously is proposed.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION [0009] An object of the present invention is to provide a hair product applicator free from the limitations of known devices.

[0010] In particular, an object is to provide a hair product applicator for performing a faster processing.

[0011] Another object is to reduce the risk of contact between the capillary material and the skin or the clothes.

[0012] Another object is to provide a hair product applicator to facilitate the application of different products, for example of different colors on different strands.

[0013] Another object of the invention is to provide a hair product applicator for performing the mixing of two components and then applying the mixture to the hair strands. [0014] According to the invention, these aims are achieved in particular by means of a hair product applicator arranged to apply

simultaneously several strands of hair one or more colors, and comprising a plurality of disposable cartridges, each cartridge comprising two compartments for storing two components for the dyeing of strands of hair; and a container for containing a plurality of cartridges.

[0015] The use of multiple cartridges in the same container is used to apply the stain faster and dyeing several bits at a time.

[0016] The applicator may include a plurality of cartridges arranged in parallel to each other with a gap between each

cartridge.

[0017] This solution also allows to dye one pass different locks in different colors.

[0018] This solution also enables to reduce the cost of the device, with a container which can be reused and disposable dye cartridges constituting a consumable.

[0019] Each cartridge can have a slot for the passage of a strand of hair to dye. The insertion of a complete drill bit into the slot of each cartridge is easy and fast, which allows rapid application.

[0020] The two compartments of each cartridge can be separated from each other by a wall arranged to allow mixing of the two components by moving or deforming said wall. This allows to completely separate the two components by a wall during transport and storage of the cartridge, and then mixing them by removing, moving and / or tearing the wall just before use. [0021] In one embodiment, each cartridge comprises a manually operable pusher for causing the deformation, tearing or displacement of this wall. The wall can be excluded acting on the push, without touching the wall itself. The pusher may be parallel to the slot of the cartridge and the wall perpendicular to this slot. The wall or the edges of the wall can be torn by pressing the plunger so as to permit movement of the wall and the mixture of the two components through the torn edges.

[0022] In another embodiment, the wall is substantially parallel to the slot.

[0023] The wall may comprise two thicknesses enclosing a removable joining tongue exiting through the slot. Sealing is provided by the wall and / or the joining tongue.

[0024] Each cartridge may in particular comprise a bottom face, a front face and a rear face. The slot of each cartridge may be rectilinear and extend over the entire length of the underside and on a portion of the height of the anterior and posterior faces.

[0025] The wall and / or the joining tongue can be removably extracted and partially or completely from the cartridge.

[0026] The wall and / or the joining tongue can be pulled out of the cartridge through the slot.

[0027] The wall and / or the joining tongue can be a gasket for sealing the slot during storage and transport the cartridge.

[0028] In one embodiment, the wall and / or the joining tongue can be pulled partially out of the cartridge through the slot, so as to allow mixing of the two components. In this intermediate position, the join tongue still ensures sealing of the slot and it is therefore possible to store the cartridge, for a limited time, eg a few minutes, with the capillary already mixed product, and without risking the spread product out of the cartridge. In a second phase, the joining tongue can be extracted

completely out of the cartridge to release the slot and allowing the application of hair product obtained by mixing the two components.

[0029] The wall between the two compartments may be made of an elastically compressible elastomer.

[0030] The tongue joint between the two compartments may be made of an elastically compressible elastomer.

[0031] Each cartridge may include a ball arranged to facilitate the mixing of hair products when the ball is shaken. [0032] Each cartridge can comprise a fastener for removably securing a container. The cartridge may for example be fixed by elastic deformation, for example by clipping.

[0033] This applicator allows an unprofessional person capillary industry to easily carry strands of hair dyes. different colored dye product of preparations remain free in the cartridges, thereby allowing a working minimizing the contact of the hands with the dye products.

Example (s) of embodiment of the invention

[0035] Figure 1 shows an applicator 1 of a hair product, for example for dyeing hair, in use. As seen in the figure, the device comprises a plurality of cartridges 2 arranged side by side and joined by a container 10. The cartridges 2 contain the hair product to be applied. Each cartridge 2 is provided with a slot 20 allowing to introduce a lock of hair 50 to be dyed a user 5. By moving the device 1 along the strands 50, it is thus possible to treat or dye simultaneously several strands . [0036] A first embodiment of a cartridge according to the invention is illustrated in Figures 2 to 4. The various cartridges may contain different colored dye product preparations. They are intended to be removably secured to the container 10 provided with a handle. The cartridges 2 are preferably disposable, or

fillable possibly for reuse. The container 10 can be reused a significant number of times with different cartridges inserted successively into the container.

[0037] The cartridges 2 contain two compartments 5, 6 filled coloring product to one or more components. A wall 4 separating the two compartments. The wall 4 comprises a tearable region, here a surrounding area linking the center of the thicker wall to the side edges of the cartridge 2.

[0038] The wall 4 can be moved by pushing on the arm, the pusher 3 connected to the wall, so as to tear the tearing zone 40 and then to push the wall. The liquid passes into compartment 5

compartment 6 by tearing zone 40, so that the two components are mixed.

[0039] The cartridge further includes a slot 20 in its lower face 22 and the front faces 23 and post 24. A strand of hair can be inserted into this slot to be brought into contact with the mixed hair product. The width of the slot is

advantageously adapted according to the viscosity of the hair product mixed so as to avoid the risk of an undesired flow of liquid through the slot 20. In one embodiment, a removable tab seals the slot prior to use, in particular during transport and storage of the cartridge 2.

[0040] The container 10 may comprise several slots each for accommodating a cartridge 2. Each location may define the same or a suitable volume of the cartridge. Each slot may be provided with a slot 20 opposite the slot in the cartridge accommodated in this location, so that the slots of the cartridge and the location are perfectly superposed and ensure a sliding of the lock of hair to cross.

[0041] The cartridge can for instance be inserted into its

location from the rear.

[0042] The slot of the cartridge can be flared at the bottom to facilitate entry of the lock of hair to be colored.

[0043] A second embodiment is illustrated by way of example in Figures 5 to 9. Identical elements or performing an equivalent function to the corresponding elements of the first embodiment bear the same reference numerals.

[0044] In this example, the applicator comprises a container 1 with three slots for 2nd cartridges hair product. A number of locations and of different cartridges can be imagined, from 2 to N. The two cartridges are arranged parallel to each other, side-by-side with a gap 21 between the cartridges. Cartridges may for example include dyes of the same color or different colors. The user can select color dyes in each location by fixing a dye cartridge of his choice through removable fixing elements 27, in this example a groove on both side faces of each cartridge to the clipped by elastic deformation in a location of the container.

[0045] Each cartridge 2 has a slot 20 for inserting a wick to be dyed therein. The slit 20 is preferably rectilinear and extends from the front wall 23, throughout the bottom wall 22 and in the rear wall 24. Its width is sufficiently thin to prevent an undesirable effusion liquid from the cartridge.

[0046] Each cartridge 2 further comprises two slots 5, 6 for two components of the hair product, for example a dye and an oxidant to be mixed with each other just before

the application. In this embodiment, the two compartments 5, 6 are arranged side-by-side, on each side of the slot 20.

[0047] The compartments 5 and 6 are open on their inner face. This face is closed by a double wall 4 enclosing a joint tab 42 of flexible elastomeric material. The wall 4 serves as a guide for the joining tongue which also constitutes a wall and provides a seal between the two compartments. The joining tongue is mounted in a plane containing the slot 20 and which separates the two compartments from each other. Before use, the join tongue 42 prevents the two components in the compartments 5 and 6 to blend one to another.

[0048] The join tongue 42 can be pulled partially out of the cartridge 2 through the slot 20 by means of the handles 41, so as to allow mixing of the two components. This intermediate position can be held by the notches on the outer faces of the cartridge in which the handles are inserted. In this position, the join tongue 42 in cooperation with the wall 4 always ensures the sealing of the slit and therefore it is possible to store the cartridge, for a limited time, eg a few minutes, with the hair product already mixed, and without the risk of spreading the product out of the cartridge. In a second phase, the join tongue 42 can be completely extracted out of the cartridge to release the slot 20 and allow the application of hair product obtained by mixing the two components. [0049] The wall between the two compartments may be made of an elastically compressible elastomer.

[0050] Each cartridge 7 can include a ball arranged to facilitate mixing of the two components when the ball is shaken. [0051] The cartridge is preferably disposable. It is however also possible to imagine filling holes 8 for filling the two compartments of a cartridge used to recycle.

[0052] The join tongue 42 is provided with two handles 41 which protrude through the slot 20 and which permits to extract more easily by pulling it downwardly between the two thicknesses of the double wall 4
