Abstract
L'invention concerne un palier à roulement radial (1) configuré sous la forme d'un roulement à rouleaux sphériques à rangée simple, comprenant une bague de roulement (2) extérieure, une bague de roulement (3) intérieure et une pluralité de rouleaux sphériques (5) disposés entre lesdites bagues de roulement (2, 3). Lesdits rouleaux sphériques présentent respectivement deux faces (6, 7), dont la forme sphérique est aplatie symétriquement, qui sont maintenues dans un espacement uniforme l'une par rapport à l'autre, au moyen d'une cage de roulement (4) et qui roulent au moyen de leurs faces de roulement (8) dans des voies de roulement (11, 12) se présentant sous la forme de rainure, lesquelles sont définies respectivement, par deux bords axiaux (13, 14 et 15, 16). La largeur (b<SUB>?</SUB>) des rouleaux sphériques (5) entre leurs faces latérales (6, 7) est inférieure à la distance (a<SUB>B</SUB>) entre les bords axiaux (13, 15 et 14, 16) opposés radialement, de sorte que les rouleaux sphériques (5) peuvent être utilisés sur la distance (a<SUB>B</SUB>) selon un procédé de montage axial dans ledit palier à roulement radial. Les rouleaux sphériques (5) présentent une largeur (b<SUB>k</SUB>) entre leurs surfaces latérales (6, 7) qui est harmonisée avec l'angle de pression (a) fonctionnel de 20°.
