Abstract

The plastic closure consists of a rotating cap (1) with a sectoral pouring hole and with a slide (2) guided on its under side in such a way as to be capable of being displaced in a translational manner in relation to the pouring hole. The slide exhibits a downward-projecting cam on its under side. Lying beneath the slide (2) is a gate cap (3). Also present in its cover (6) is a sectoral pouring hole and behind it additionally a groove as a gate guide for the cam on the slide (2). The gate cap (3) is installed in a stationary manner on a bottle neck or a container spout. If the rotating cap (1) is caused to rotate relative to the gate cap (3), the cam of the slide will be guided along the gate guide and will pull the slide (2) into the open position, whereas rotation in the opposite direction will cause the slide (2) to be displaced back into the closed position.

Description

Kunststoff-Verschluss mit Schieberöffnung für einen Flaschen- oder Behälterstutzen Plastic closure with slide opening for a bottle or container neck
This invention relates to a plastic closure for bottle-like containers containing bulk materials such as coffee powder, milk powder, or bulk materials such as rice, oatmeal, but also bulk materials from the non-food sector, such as washing powder and the like.
A. populär sind. For example, there are about one-liter plastic bottles with coffee whitener, which are mainly disclosed in U.S. Pat. A. are popular. Such a bottle has a threaded neck, which is about the same size in diameter as the bottle itself, namely about 8 to 10cm. It comes then a threaded cap on this neck. For pouring or removing powder, the threaded cap is unscrewed from the nozzle and then, depending on the level, the bottle can be tilted into an inclined position and poured out by gently shaking the contents. In the other case, grab with a dosing spoon into the inside of the bottle and take spoonfuls of the powder. The disadvantage of such a rotary lid lid is that it must be completely unscrewed and removed from the bottle to remove content. If you remove yourself from the lid with the bottle, the lid can be lost. Would like a similar compact closure as a rotating cap, which, however, would not have to be removed for dosing out of content. This closure should be easy to use and inexpensive to produce.
This object is achieved by a plastic closure with Schieberöffhung for a bottle or container neck, consisting of a rotary cap with sectoral Pouring hole and on its underside translationally displaceable against the Ausschüttloch guided slide with downwardly projecting cams for closing and opening the Ausschüttloches, as well as a fitting in the bottom of the rotary cap gate cap with a groove as Kulissenfuhrung, in which groove protrudes the cam of the slide, and in front of the groove a discharge hole, wherein the rotary cap is rotatable on the stationary on a bottle or container nozzle to be mounted sliding block, whereby the relative movement of the rotary cap and sliding block forces a displacement of the cam along the slotted guide, so that the slide translationally in the open and closed position is.
In the drawings, an advantageous embodiment of this plastic closure with Schieberöffhung is shown in different views. These individual parts and their interaction with the assembled closure will be described and explained below.

[0005] Die Figur 1 zeigt den zusammengesetzten Kunststoff- Verschluss mit Schieberöffhung von schräg oben gesehen, im geschlossenen Zustand des Schiebers und somit auch desFigure 1 shows the composite plastic closure with Schieberöffhung obliquely from above, in the closed state of the slide and thus also the
Verschlusses. The closure consists of three parts, namely, first, a rotary cap 1, which has a Ausschüttloch in an angular sector, which is bounded by the edge 4, second, a slider 2, which is guided translationally displaceable on the underside of the rotary cap, and third, a sliding cap 3, of which one recognizes here only the downwardly projecting edge, with which this link cap 3 on a nozzle of a bottle or a
Behälters aufprellbar, aufschraubbar oder aufklickbar ist.Container aufplellbar, screwed or clickable is.
To open the turning cap 1 is rotated counterclockwise with one hand, while the other hand holds the bottle or container. The crank cap 3 connected to the bottle or the container thus remains stationary. To rotate the rotary cap 1, the ribbed edge 5 serves. By rotating the rotary cap 1 relative to the underlying sliding cap 3, a translatory displacement of the slider 2 is effected. This one became So here already a piece pulled out of the sectoral Ausschüttloch in the rotary cap 1 out. It can be seen under the slider 2, a piece of the cover 6 of the sliding cap.
In Figure 3, the plastic closure is shown with fully open Schieberöffhung. In this state, the dump hole in the rotary cap 1 is exactly above that in the sliding cap 3, and the slider 2 is completely withdrawn from these holes. The edge 7 of the Ausschüttloches in the lid 6 of the crank cap 3 is to be seen at the bottom, and at the top you can see the edge 4 of the Ausschüttloches in the rotary cap 1. In between, you can see the front edge of the retracted slide 2.
So that the mechanical interaction of these three parts is clear, the closure in the disassembled state is shown below. FIG. 4 thus shows the three individual parts of the plastic closure with slide opening. First, you can see above the rotary cap 1 with the dump hole 12, wherein the rotary cap 1 is shown here in a view on its underside. This discharge hole extends over an angular sector of the rotary cap 1, at least by a sector of 90 °. In the radial direction, the dump hole extends over about% of the radius of the rotary cap 1, wherein it begins outside in the vicinity of the edge of the rotary cap 1. On the underside of the rotary cap 1 two guide rails 10 are formed and outside it has a downwardly projecting edge. Below the rotary cap 1, the slider 2 can be seen, which, however, is shown here in a different angle. This slide 2 is inserted between the guide rails 10 on the rotary cap 1. Its two opposite, straight slide sides 11 are inserted between or in the guide rails 10. For this purpose, these slide sides 11 may be formed as springs, and the associated guide rails 10 may form grooves, so that the slide 2 is held after insertion along a respective tongue-and-groove connection in the rotary cap 1. As a variant, the slide 2 but also easy between the two guide rails 10 loose, but accurately inserted. On the underside of the slide, a cam 8 is formed on one side, whose function is still clear. At the bottom, the sliding cap 3 is shown, looking in from above into its underside. In the cover 6 of this crank cap 3, a continuous groove is inserted, which acts as a slide guide 9. This is in size and shape congruent to the dump hole in the rotary cap 1. The projecting edge of this crank cap 3 has at its outermost end on the inside of a bead, so that the sliding cap 3 via a bottle or container neck is aufprellbar and then held immovably on this neck. The edge can also be equipped on its inner side with a thread low pitch, so that the sliding cap 3 can be screwed onto a nozzle thread. It is then screwed so strong with the neck that the operation of the closure does not solve the threaded connection. Optionally, inserted rubber elements can enhance the friction force.
Figure 5 shows the rotary cap 1 with the slide 2 used in the closed position, the sliding cap is omitted in the view. Figure 6 then shows the rotary cap with the slide used in half-open position. Here is already a part of the Ausschüttloches 12 can be seen in the rotary cap 1, and Figure 7 finally shows the rotary cap 1 with the slide 2 used in the open position. The discharge hole 12 in the rotary cap 1 is disclosed here.
Figure 8 shows the assembled closure with the rotary cap 1 with slide 2 and crank cap 3 seen from below, with the slide 2 in Schliess- position. As you can see, protrudes the cam 8 at the bottom of the slider 2 in the slide guide 9. In the closing passage of the slide 2 shown here, the cam 8 is located at one end of the guide 9. In FIG. 9, the state is shown after the turning cap 1 has been rotated piece-wise in relation to the guide cap 3. By this rotation, the slider 2 is rotated on the rotary cap 1 and accordingly also the cam 8 on the slider 2. The cam 8 is but stirred by the Kulissenfuhrung 9 and moves through the formation of the Kulissenfuhrung 9 with initially narrow and ever expectant radius so that the cam 8 relative to the rotary cap 1 ausfuhrt a radial movement and according to the slide 2 on the rotary cap 1 between the guide rails 10 executes a translational displacement movement. When the cam 8 has arrived at the other end of the Kuhssenfuhrung 9, as shown in Figure 10, the slider 2 is in the open position.
In Figure 11 is a cross section through the rotary cap 1 with slider 2 and crank cap 3 can be seen with the slider 2 in half-open position, while in Figure 12, the slider is in the closed position. As can be seen, the crank cap 3 is so requested that it forms on its outer edge a narrow shoulder on which the rotary cap 1 rests and is guided with its downwardly projecting edge. The outer edge of the Rotary cap 1 is indeed provided with ribs so that it can be easily twisted relative to the crank cap 3. In this case, the slider 2 rotates with the cam 8 with the rotary cap 1 and the cam 8 is forced to move long the rotating Kulissenfϊihrung 9, which causes a translational displacement of the slider 2. When turning the rotary cap 1 in the counterclockwise direction, that is seen from above to the left, the slider 2 is moved to the open position and when turning the rotary cap 1 in the reverse direction, the slider 2 is moved back into the closed position.
