Claims (7)

  1. Underground collection container for potentially recyclable and waste material, comprising a holding means (22) in an underground container (1) and having guides (3) disposed on the inner walling (2) of the container and having a positioning element (4) disposed inside the container (1) having engaging members (5) coacting with the guides (3) and having a safety platform (8) carried on the positioning element (4) which platform during emptying of the holding means (22) via a lifting device (6) consisting of one or more counterweights engaging with the positioning element (4) and guided via a pulley (14) closes the then open container (1), where the positioning element (4) incorporates an actuating device (7) for the engaging members (5) to which actuating device pressure is applied by the container (1) standing on it, characterised in that the guides (3) for the engaging members (5) and the lifting device (6) are disposed in the inner walling (2) of the container (1).
  2. Underground collection container in accordance with claim 1, characterised in that the positioning element (4) consists of arms (9) bearing the engaging members (5) at their ends and able to be actuated by the actuating device (7).
  3. Underground collection container in accordance with claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the actuating device (7) is a pushrod (11) which can be moved against the pressure of return springs and which via a combination of levers actuates the engaging members (5) and through the downward movement of which the engaging members (5) can be moved out of their locking position in the guides (3).
  4. Underground collection container in accordance with one of the foregoing claims 1 or 2, characterised in that a pushrod (11 a) is disposed recessedly in a protective casing (21) which on its underside is connected to the engaging members (5) via a combination of levers and can be actuated by a projecting portion provided on the underside of the holding means (22) and fitting into the protective casing (21).
  5. Underground collection container in accordance with claims 3 or 4, characterised in that the engaging members (5) can be actuated by the pushrods (11, 11a) against the action of return springs (12).
  6. Underground collection container in accordance with one or more of the foregoing claims, characterised in that at least the container (1) has a round cross-section.
  7. Underground collection container in accordance with claim 1, characterised in that the container (1) is made from concrete, steel, plastic or stonework.
