  17. Item of furniture for sitting on or lying on according to claim 16, characterised in that the frame (2) has at least two rails (2.1, 2.2) arranged opposite each other.
  18. Item of furniture for sitting on or lying on according to one of the preceding claims 16 or 17, characterised in that the frame (2) is open to at least one side.
  19. Item of furniture for sitting on or lying on according to one of the preceding claims 16 to 18, characterised in that the region of the frame (2) which defines a mounting surface has an inclination of about 60°.
  20. Item of furniture for sitting on or lying on according to one of the preceding claims 16 to 19, characterised in that the region of the frame (2) which defines a mounting surface is adjustable in its inclination.
