Definitions

  • the object of the invention relates to the technical field of packaging and packaging of volumetric bodies, containers or objects in the general sense with plastic sleeves of stretchable nature.
  • Such a sleeve has the advantage of being kept around the object even after opening to retain the information on the product contained in the container throughout its use. At the end of the period of use, it appears in many applications, the need to route all or part of the object or all or part of its content to a place of treatment and / or storage. This is the case, for example, for ink cartridges for printers which, when empty, are sent back to a processing center. To ensure their forwarding, it is known to market these cartridges with a return envelope.
  • the Applicant has highlighted the advantage of using the sleeve or part of the sleeve as a means of conveying the object.
  • the Applicant thus had the merit of considering transforming a labeling sleeve into a shipping envelope of the object to avoid the addition of a return envelope.
  • An object of the invention is therefore to use a labeling sleeve providing an information function and at the end of the period of use of the object, to transform it into a means for shipping said object.
  • the plastic labeling sleeve is in the form of at least one bracelet having a height determined between two edges and intended to be placed around at least one object to form an information carrier.
  • the bracelet is provided with at least one cutting line extending from one edge to the other to break the bracelet to allow the deployment of the bracelet and consequently to use the bracelet. envelope.
  • the bracelet is provided with at least one cutting line for separating the envelope from the rest of the bracelet which remains closed or not.
  • the cutting line has weakening zones or viewing lines of a cut.
  • the bracelet comprises at least one outer wall and at least one inner wall placed in superposition position and held in the form of the bracelet by means of closure means, the walls being assembled together on three of their edges by the assembly means to define the envelope so that the fourth edge defines the access opening to the volume of the envelope.
  • the bracelet comprises at least one outer wall and at least one inner wall placed in superposition position and held in the form of the bracelet by means of closure means, the walls being assembled together on four of their edges by the assembly means to define the envelope of which one of the walls is provided with a slot to form the access opening to the volume of the envelope.
  • the inner wall is extended beyond the edges assembled with the outer wall to present at least one flap provided with closure means.
  • the outer and / or inner wall is longer than the other wall in order to have at least one detachable or non-detachable connecting heel from one and / or the other of the transverse edges.
  • Another object of the invention is to propose a method of labeling at least one object using a plastic labeling sleeve in the form of at least one bracelet constituting a support for information.
  • the method consists in forming the envelope during the operation of producing the bracelet or after cutting the bracelet.
  • the Figure 1 is a perspective view of a first embodiment of a labeling sleeve according to the invention in position mounted around an object.
  • the Figure 2 is a plan view illustrating a step of producing the sleeve illustrated in FIG. Fig. 1 .
  • the Figure 3 is a cross-sectional view showing the sleeve in a closed position following that illustrated in FIG. Fig. 2 .
  • the Figure 4 is a perspective view showing the sleeve of the Fig. 3 turned into an expedition envelope.

  • the Figure 12 is a cross-sectional view of another embodiment of a sleeve before transformation into an envelope.
  • FIG. 13 and 14 are plan views of the sleeve shown in Fig. 12 , detached and transformed into an envelope.
  • the object of the invention relates to a labeling sleeve 1 adapted to at least partially surround an object 2 in the general sense.
  • the sleeve 1 is in the form of a bracelet or a tubular element made of a stretchable plastic material such as polyethylene.
  • Such a bracelet is able to receive an impression so as to constitute an information carrier preferably in relation to the object 2 which it surrounds.
  • this bracelet 1 is designed to allow its use as a shipping means for example the object 2 arrived at the end of its period of use.
  • at least a portion of the bracelet 1 forms at least one envelope 3 having an opening 4 giving access to the internal volume of the envelope.
  • the bracelet 1 comprises means of assembly or closure 5 for constituting the envelope 3 whose internal volume is accessible through the opening 4.
  • the bracelet 1 comprises at least one and in the example shown in FIGS. Fig. 1 to 4 , A cutting line 6 a part of the bracelet to use the shell as a shipping envelope.
  • the cutting line 6 comprises either viewing lines of a cut using for example scissors, or weakening areas such as pre-cuts.
