Definitions

  • the present invention relates to the technical field of shipping and reshipping packaging and pre-cut blanks for forming such shipping and reshipping packaging.
  • packaging comprising a packaging body, a closure panel and means for holding the closure panel in the closed position of the packaging body.
  • the holding means comprise, for example, a closure strip carrying an adhesive on its inner face and being associated with a tear-off strip arranged over the entire length of the closure strip between the latter and the rest of the packaging.
  • the closure strip makes it possible, initially, to keep the closure panel closed and to secure the packaging against malicious intrusions by gluing it to the packaging.
  • the opening of the packaging is facilitated by tearing off the tear strip to separate one side of the closure strip from the rest of the packaging, thus allowing the closure panel to be opened.
  • the invention relates to a shipping and reshipping packaging comprising a packaging body and at least one closing panel and means for maintaining by gluing the closing panel in the closed position of the body of the packaging. packaging.
  • the holding means comprise at least one closure strip comprising at least one breakable section linked to the rest of the closure strip and to the rest of the packaging, namely the body or the closure panel, by at least at least one line of weakest resistance and at least one permanent section substantially aligned with the breakable section and remaining attached to the rest of the packaging after separation of the breakable section, the closing strip bearing, on a so-called internal face intended to be oriented towards the interior of the packaging when the latter is closed, at least one rectilinear strip of glue extending in part at least over the length of the connecting strip y included on the breakable and permanent sections and being covered with a peelable protection in several individually peelable sections corresponding at least to the breakable and permanent sections of the closure strip.
  • a closure strip comprising breakable and permanent sections
  • a closure strip allows a first closure of the packaging by means of the breakable section or sections glued so as to immobilize the closure panel in the closed position.
  • the user receives the packaging according to the invention, closed, he breaks the lines of weakest resistance so as to separate the breakable section(s) from the rest of the packaging, which makes it possible to open the closing panel.
  • the user wishes to reclose the packaging according to the invention in a secure manner, he first removes the peelable section of the protection covering the glue from the permanent section of the closure strip, then he glues the permanent section so as to immobilize the closing panel in the closed position of the packaging. It therefore appears that the packaging according to the invention advantageously offers the user the possibility of closing the packaging securely and therefore compatible with reshipment without having to resort to external means.
  • the alignment of the constituent sections of the closure strip facilitates the placement of the glue in the form of a continuous or discontinuous strip over the length of the closure strip, in particular when the constituent elements of the The packaging according to the invention are formed from a sheet material such as compact cardboard or corrugated cardboard.
  • the glue can also be placed discontinuously in the form of independent sections that are not contiguous but aligned along the length of the closure strip.
  • each closure strip comprises at least three aligned sections arranged in an alternating permanent section-breakable section.
  • This arrangement makes it possible to guarantee the effectiveness of the holding of the closure panel whether by means of the breakable section or sections, or even by means of the permanent section or sections.
  • the closure strip comprises only three aligned sections, two configurations are then possible: the central section is a permanent section and the two lateral sections are breakable sections or the central section is a breakable section and the two lateral sections are permanent sections .
  • the closure strip comprises two lateral tongues extending, on either side, beyond the element of the packaging to which the closure strip is linked and each carrying a part of the glue strip covered by a section of the peelable protection.
  • the two tabs partly form at least two breakable sections of the closure strip.
  • each permanent section is linked by a fold line to the element of the packaging to which the closure strip is attached.
  • the closure panel is independent of the packaging body.
  • the packaging in accordance with the invention is initially formed of at least two distinct sub-assemblies, namely a sub-assembly constituting the packaging body and a sub-assembly comprising the panel of closing.
  • the packaging can be made up of more than two sub-assemblies or, on the contrary, formed from a single unitary element such as a pre-cut blank shaped by folding and gluing.
  • the packaging body is secured to at least one closure strip comprising at least one breakable section and one permanent section.
  • the closure panel is integral with at least one closure strip comprising at least one breakable section and one permanent section.
  • the closure panel is, in the open position, secured to the packaging body.
  • This characteristic corresponds, for example, to the fact that the packaging is formed from a single pre-cut blank or even to the fact that the closing panel cannot be easily, that is to say without being damaged, separated of the packaging body.
  • the invention further relates to a pre-cut blank, for forming a packaging according to the invention, which comprises a series of panels linked by fold lines, including at least one closing panel, and including at least one panel has at least one closure strip.
  • the aim of the invention is to propose a packaging allowing facilitated and secure reshipment.
  • the particularity of the packaging according to the invention lies in the implementation of a closing strip comprising at least one breakable section linked to the rest of the closing strip and/or to the rest of the packaging by at least one line of more low resistance and at least one permanent section substantially aligned with the breakable section and remaining integral with the rest of the packaging after separation of the breakable section.
  • a closure strip can be implemented on different types or shapes of packaging and preferably packaging made by shaping one or more pre-cut blanks of materials such as compact cardboard or corrugated cardboard or any other suitable material, not necessarily based on paper or cellulose.
  • the closure strip 1 is implemented on a package, of substantially parallelepipedal shape, with automatic bottom formed from a single pre-cut blank more particularly illustrated in Fig. 1 and designated as a whole by the reference F.
  • the blank F comprises an alignment of rectangular side panels 1, 2, 3, 4 separated from each other by fold lines 6, 7, 8 substantially parallel.
  • a first side panel 1 carries, opposite the second side panel 2, a connecting strip 9 from which it is separated by a fold line 10 parallel to the fold line 6.
  • the fold lines can be produced in any appropriate way and adapted to the nature of the material constituting the blank, such as for example by creasing, kiss cutting, dotted cutting or combinations of these techniques without that this list is not exhaustive or restrictive.
  • the first 1 and third 3 side panels each carry on the same side of the alignment, a half bottom panel, respectively 11 and 13, separated from the corresponding side panel by a fold line, respectively 14 and 15, substantially perpendicular to the fold lines 6, 7, 8.
  • Each half bottom panel 11,13 carries a flap 17 hinged by a fold line 18 is intended to be glued to a bottom flap 19 carried by each of the second 2 and fourth 4 side panels .
  • Each bottom flap 19 is located on the same side of the alignment of the side panels 1 to 4 as the half bottom panels 11 and 13. Each bottom flap 19 is further separated from the corresponding side panel, 2, 4 by a line fold 20, on the one hand, perpendicular to the fold lines 6, 7, 8 and, on the other hand, substantially aligned with the fold lines 14 and 15.
  • the second 2 and fourth 4 side panels each carry, opposite the bottom flap 19, a closure flap 25 separated from the corresponding side panel by a fold 26 parallel to the fold line 20.
  • first side panel 1 carries, opposite the bottom half panel 11, a closure panel 27 separated from the first side panel 1 by a fold line 28 parallel to the fold line 14 and perpendicular to the fold lines 10 and 6.
  • the closure strip B is carried by the closure panel 27 opposite the first side panel 1.
  • the closure strip B comprises three sections 31, 32 and 33 aligned.
  • the first 31 and third 33 sections are said to be divisible in that they are intended to be able to be separated easily from the rest of the packaging, as will appear subsequently.
  • the second section 32, located between the first 31 and third 33 sections is said to be permanent in that it is intended to remain attached to the rest of the packaging in the context of normal use of the latter.
  • the latter are separated from the closing panel 27 and from the permanent section 32 by a line of weakest resistance 35 which here has substantially the shape of a " I ".
  • the permanent section 32 is itself separated from the closure panel by a fold line 36 substantially parallel to the fold line 28.
  • the part of the lines of weakest resistance 35 located between the breakable sections 31 and 33 and the closure panel 27 are substantially aligned with the fold line 36.
  • the lines of weakest resistance can be shifted towards the inside of the closure strip B and the fold line 36 extended over the entire length of the closure strip B between the latter and the panel closing 27.
  • the closure strip B also bears on its internal face, intended to be oriented towards the inside of the packaging after shaping and closing of the latter, a strip of glue 40 which extends parallel to the fold line 36 over all of the three sections 31 to 33.
  • the glue strip 40 is covered with a peelable protective strip P visible at the Fig. 2 .
  • the strip P is divided into at least three individually peelable sections 41, 42 and 43 each corresponding to one of the three sections 31, 32, 33 constituting the closure strip B.
  • the blank F as thus constituted, is put in volume in the following way to form the packaging as illustrated in Fig. 2 .
  • the fold lines 10, 6, 7, 8 are formed so as to allow bonding of the connecting strip 9 on the internal face of the fourth side panel 4. Then, the fold lines 14,15,20 are formed to fold the bottom half panels 11,13 and the bottom flaps 19 towards the inside of the packaging, each flap 17 being glued to the corresponding bottom flap 19.
  • the packaging according to the invention is then in volume in the configuration as illustrated in the Fig. 2 .
  • the closure panel 7 is integral with the body C of the packaging of substantially parallelepipedal shape.
  • the packaging is thus ready to receive its contents. Once the packaging is filled, it is possible to close it by folding the flaps 25 towards the inside of the packaging to place them in a position substantially parallel to the bottom of the packaging.
  • the packaging can then be closed for the first time.
  • the peelable sections 41 and 43 covering the strip of glue at the level of the breakable sections 31 and 33 are removed.
  • the closing panel 27 is folded down to apply it against the closing flaps 25.
  • the closing strip B is folded down so as to stick it by the breakable sections 31 and 33 against the external face of the third panel lateral 3.
  • the packaging is then perfectly closed and secured so that it is not possible to access its contents without affecting the integrity of the packaging.
  • the packaging according to the invention is therefore once again perfectly closed without the user needing to resort to external gluing means or to an external adhesive tape to ensure secure closure of said packaging.
  • the closure strip B is bonded to the closure panel 27.
  • the Fig. 3 illustrates a blank for producing a self-closing package very similar to that described above but which differs therefrom in particular in that the closure strip B is linked to the third side panel 3 opposite the bottom half panel 13.
  • the closure strip B is then separated from the side panel 3 by a fold line 50 parallel to the fold line 15 and perpendicular to the lines 6, 7, 8.
  • the closure strip B comprises three successive sections 51, 52, 53 of which the first 51 and the last 53 are permanent sections while the second section 52 is divisible.
  • the breakable section 52 is delimited by a line of weakest resistance 54 substantially in the shape of a "U" which is located at a distance from the fold line 50.
  • the core of the "U” can coincide with the fold line 50.
  • the core is understood to mean the connecting part of the two branches of the "U".
  • the internal face of the closing strip at B carries a line of glue 40 which extends over the three sections 51, 52, 53 and which is covered by a peelable protection divided into at least three sections as previously described.
  • the strip of glue also extends over the closure panel 27 and the closure flaps 25 while being covered with a peelable protection at the level of the panel 27 and the flaps 25. This situation comes from the fact that the strip of glue 40 and its protective strip are continuously deposited on the panel of material constituting the blank F during the manufacture of said panel and prior to cutting, giving it the shape of the blank illustrated in Fig. 3 .
  • the closure panel 27 carries, opposite the side panel 1, a closure flap 55 separated from the closure panel 27 by a fold line 56 parallel to the fold line 28.
  • the invention has just been described in relation to automatic bottom packaging. However, the invention can be applied to other types of packaging such as, for example, an American box as illustrated in Fig.s 4 And 5 .
  • the setting in volume as illustrated in the Fig. 5 of such an American box from the illustrated blank Fig. 4 is well known to those skilled in the art so that it is not necessary to describe further the constituent elements of the blank F of the Fig. 4 nor its volume.
  • the closure strip B is integrated into the closure panel 27 without being separated from the latter by a fold line.
  • the closure strip B here comprises three sections 31, 32, 33 in a configuration very close to that described in relation to the Fig. 1 .
  • the first 31 and the third 33 sections are divisible while the central section or second section 32 is permanent.
  • the body of the packaging and the closing panel are made from the same and single pre-cut blank.
  • the Fig.s 6 And 7 show another embodiment according to which the packaging in accordance with the invention is made from two pre-cut blanks more particularly illustrated in Fig. 6 .
  • the first blank F1 is intended to form the body C of the packaging while the second blank F2 is intended to form a closing means or lid of the packaging.
  • the first blank F1 comprises a rectangular bottom panel 60 bordered on four sides by four side panels 61, 62, 63,64 which are separated from the bottom panel by fold lines 65,66, 76,68 which form the sides of the bottom panel 60.
  • Two opposite side panels 61 and 63 each carry two opposite side flaps 70, 71 separated from the corresponding side panel by two fold lines 73,74 parallel to each other and to the fold lines 66 and 68.
  • each of the two closure strips B comprises three aligned sections 31, 32, 33, the first 31 and third 33 sections of which are breakable while the second section 32 is permanent.
  • the breakable sections 31,33 are separated from the permanent section 32 and from the corresponding side panel 61,63 by a line of weakest resistance 35 while each permanent section 32 is separated from the corresponding side panel by a fold line 36 parallel to the lines folding 65 and 67.
  • Each closure strip B further comprises a line of glue 40 extending over the three sections 30, 32, 33 at the level of the internal face of the closure strip B.
  • the line of glue 40 is covered by a protective strip divided into three sections 41, 42, 43 each corresponding to a section of the closure strip B.
