Definitions
- the present invention relates to methods of simultaneously slicing at least two food bars supplied to a knife. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a device for separating food slices and a means for the artificial extension of product bars, in particular food bars, in the axial direction and a corresponding slicing device.
- the feed device of food bar usually consists of several, preferably two, conveyor belts, between which the food sticks are clamped and promoted by static friction through the cutting plane.
- the conveyor belts are open on the inlet side, so that the secondary product can touch the end of the product in the sliced end and thus an approximately continuous cutting process takes place.
- a disadvantage of this system is that towards the end of the slicing process of the product of the product of the Food bar is no longer tight enough between the conveyor belts is clamped so that it is often torn out by the knife and thrown off.
- the product bar also called the food bar
- the product bar is grasped at its end remote from the knife by a gripper and transported by the latter in the direction of the knife.
- These slicers have, for example, the disadvantage that very long food bars can not be processed on these machines and that when slicing several parallel food bars and mechanically fixed grippers, the food bars are partially strongly compressed prior to slicing.
- the method according to the invention is to be carried out on comparatively small slicing machines, because the means, for example a gripper, only has to be brought into contact with the food bar at a comparatively late point in time.
- the means for example, a gripper with the food bar force, form and / or cohesively and reversibly connected.
- connection between the agent after the start of slicing occurs.
- a compound of the agent for example, a gripper after the start of slicing has the advantage that food bars of any length can be cut open.
- the connection between the agent and the food bar takes place, for example, shortly before the rear end of the food bar is in the area of the means of transport or just before the food bar is cut so far that a secure hold between the conveyor belts is no longer guaranteed.
- the means is removed after cutting from the feed path. This is preferably done by retracting the agent from the feed path. In another preferred embodiment, the agent is removed from the feed path so that the least possible loss of time arises. This is preferably done by a movement of the means transverse to the feed path.
- connection between the means and the food bars is released after completion of the slicing of at least one food bar.
- each food bar is cut open to the maximum and resulting incomplete portions are supplemented with food bars which are subsequently to be sliced. This procedure leads to a maximum utilization of material. The operator can choose between these two operating modes at any time and adapt them, for example, to the product to be sliced.
- the means is at least temporarily driven exclusively by the transport means, preferably conveyor belts, which transport the food bars in the direction of the knife and / or the food bar itself; ie moved in the direction of the knife.
- the means for example, a gripper temporarily has no own drive.
- the movement of the gripper in the direction of the knife is thus for example, characterized in that it is positively connected to the food bar.
- the transport can take place in that adjusts a frictional connection, for example, a frictional engagement between the means and the conveyor belts, which also transport the food bar, and the agent is thereby transported in the direction of the knife.
- This embodiment of the method according to the invention has the advantage that the means only driven and the drives need only be controlled to make contact between the agent and the food bar and possibly later to remove the means from the feed path. At least in the meantime, the means will not be driven independently.
- FIG. 1 shows a slicer that is fed almost continuously.
- the slicing machine 5 has a knife 11 which cuts a food bar 2 into food slices 12.
- the sliced food slices 12 are configured into portions and then packaged.
- the person skilled in the art recognizes that several food bars can be cut open at the same time.
- the food bars 2 are transported with two conveyor belts 4 continuously in the direction of the cutting plane 6 of the blade 11.
- the slice thickness results from the feed distance of the food bar between two cuts.
- the regulation of the slice thickness takes place via the feed speed of the food bar.
- the conveyor belts 4 are open on the inlet side, so that the secondary product can touch the end of the product in the sliced end and thus an approximately continuous cutting process takes place.
- FIGS. 2a and 2b show a slicing machine according to the invention in two views.
- the cutter head is shown, on which the knife 11 is located, are cut with the food bar 2 in food slices 12.
- the food bar 2 is transported by the conveyor belts 4 along the feed path 14 in the direction of the knife.
- the food bar has been brought into contact with a gripper 18 whose own drive 20, 21 in FIG. 2b is shown in detail.
- a gripper 18 and the conveyor belts 4 is a frictional engagement, so that the gripper, as soon as the conveyor belts is engaged by these and not by the drive 20, 21 is transported in the direction of the knife. Accordingly, the gripper is only for holding but not for driving the food bar.
- FIG. 2b shows the slicer according to FIG. 2a in a plan view, wherein the conveyor belts 4 have been omitted for clarity.
- the present exemplary slicing machine is suitable for slicing the four parallel food bars arranged in a plane. Accordingly, the slicer has four grippers 18, which are each brought into contact with a food bar and their claws 7 thereby (not shown) in the food bar are driven.
- the grippers 18 are arranged on a central unit 20, which is displaceable along a guide 22.
- the displacement of the central unit 20 can be effected either by a motor or by the food bars which are connected to the grippers and which are transported by means of the conveyor belts 4 in the direction of the knife, or by the conveyor belts.
- the unit 20 may also be fixed in position relative to the guide 22.
- Each gripper 18 further has a drive 21, with which the gripper is movable or fixable relative to the central unit 20.
- This drive 21 can be switched to function as or similar to a floating bearing, ie, the gripper 18 is axially displaceable relative to the central unit 20.
- a means which can simultaneously act as a drive and similar to a floating bearing is, for example, a cylinder which, when pressurized with compressed air, constitutes a drive and, in the absence of pressure, effects a decoupling between the central unit 20 and the gripper 18.
- the stroke limit of the cylinder in its end positions is a stop, so that it is ensured that the gripper can not be moved too far in the transport direction of the food bar and thus comes into contact with the knife.
- the operation of the slicing device according to the invention is in the FIGS. 3a to 3c and 4a to 4c explained.
- FIG. 3a shows the state before cutting the food bar 2.
- the food bar 2 are each manually or mechanically inserted in a guide road and with a stop 16, in the In the present case, a slider, brought into contact, so that the knife 11 (not shown) facing ends are located on a plane parallel to the knife.
- a stop in the In the present case, a slider, brought into contact, so that the knife 11 (not shown) facing ends are located on a plane parallel to the knife.
- the food bars have different lengths, which according to experience corresponds to practice.
- the food bars 2 are transported by conveyor belts 4 in the direction of the knife.
- the conveyor belts are individually driven, so that the feed of each food bar and thus the respective strength of the cut slices is adjustable; that is, the speed at which the food bars are cut open may be different.
- the grippers 18 are in the present case behind the rear end of the food bar 2. Before or during the slicing, the central unit 20 on which the grippers are arranged is moved by a motor along the guide 22 towards the rear ends of the food bars until a gripper 18 touches a food bar. The claws of this gripper are then engaged with this food bar.
- the grippers 18 are stored or driven so as to be retarded relative to the central unit 20 so that they can be brought into contact and connected with the respective food bars in succession or simultaneously, without the food bars being appreciably compressed.
- This procedure has the advantage, in particular before the start of slicing, that the food bars are not pressed appreciably against the stop 16, so that the stop can be removed without damaging the food bars.
- the grippers do not have to retract the food bars, as is the case in the DE 100 50 713 A1 is taught so that the stop can be removed at all.
- a further advantage of the present invention is that the parallel alignment of the front ends of the food bars is maintained even after their association with the grippers.
- This embodiment of the present invention has the advantage that prior to slicing the food bars, not necessarily a so-called trim cut, which means loss of material, has to be performed in order to achieve a parallel alignment of the food bars on a line.
- this procedure according to the invention has the advantage that thick food slices do not form in an uncontrolled manner during the production of the contact between gripper and food bar.
- the grippers 18 are slidably mounted and may be provided with a transmitter, which transmits their respective position to a control unit, so that the control unit receives, for example, information about whether a food bar is cut faster than others.
- the central unit 20 is mounted freely displaceable along the guide 22 and the grippers are not movable relative to the central unit, so as to ensure that at least after contact with the grippers 18 all food bars are cut open at the same speed.
- the grippers do not have their own drive after contact with the food latch and therefore are not able to drive the food bars in the direction of the knife.
- the grippers 18 are moved either by the food bar and / or preferably by the conveyor belts 4 in the direction of the knife.
- FIG. 3c a stage is shown shortly before the end of the slicing. Since the food bars on the one hand are unevenly long and on the other hand can be cut at different speeds, the second food bar is cut from the left to just before the claws of the gripper. At this point, at least the slicing of this food bar must be stopped, characterized in that this food bar is withdrawn, for example by its drive 21. However, it is also conceivable that at this point the cutting of all four food bars is stopped by the central unit 20 is moved away from the knife and then or at the same time the claws are released from the food bars. The incompletely cut food bars can be collected and recycled. After the slicing of the food bars is completed, the central unit 20 and the claws 18 relative to the central processing unit 20 become the home position according to FIG FIG. 3a moved back and The guideways can be loaded with new food bars, which are then cut open.
- FIGS. 4a to 4c another possible embodiment of the device according to the invention or the inventive method is shown. How out FIG. 4a
- the food bars are so long that their rear end lies behind the grippers and the food bars at least partially below the grippers.
- the food bars are also arranged in the present case and fixed by the conveyor belts, that their front ends are on a plane parallel to the knife, so that no trimming cut must be carried out at the beginning of slicing.
- the food bars are cut open until their rear end are in front of the grippers 18, which then at any time, but at the latest when a secure hold of food bars between the conveyor belts 4 is no longer guaranteed, brought into engagement with the food bars become. Otherwise apply to the FIGS. 3a to 3c made statements.
- the connection of the product extension to the food bar is shown. It can be seen that the claw or gripping system 7 of the product extension 1 has only been brought into engagement with the food bar after a certain number of food slices have been cut off by the latter.
- the person skilled in the art recognizes that the intervention of the product extension can already take place before cutting or only has to take place when the food bar has become so short that a regulated separation of food slices from the product bar is no longer guaranteed.
- an intervention before cutting is not protected by the claims.
- the product extension according to the invention has the advantage that the food bar can be cut open until the knife touches the claws 7.
- the type of engagement of the claws, the depth of engagement and the force of engagement in the food bar can be controlled product dependent.
Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to methods of simultaneously slicing at least two food bars supplied to a knife. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a device for separating food slices and a means for the artificial extension of product bars, in particular food bars, in the axial direction and a corresponding slicing device.
- the food bars each inserted in a feed path
- transported and cut in the direction of the knife,
- the facing away from the knife ends of the food bars are each brought into contact with a gripper, by means of a central unit, on which the grippers are arranged which is moved by a motor along a guide.
In the continuously loaded Aufschneidemaschinen the feed device of food bar usually consists of several, preferably two, conveyor belts, between which the food sticks are clamped and promoted by static friction through the cutting plane. The conveyor belts are open on the inlet side, so that the secondary product can touch the end of the product in the sliced end and thus an approximately continuous cutting process takes place. A disadvantage of this system is that towards the end of the slicing process of the product of the product of the Food bar is no longer tight enough between the conveyor belts is clamped so that it is often torn out by the knife and thrown off.
In the case of the discontinuously loaded slicing machines, the product bar, also called the food bar, is grasped at its end remote from the knife by a gripper and transported by the latter in the direction of the knife. These slicers have, for example, the disadvantage that very long food bars can not be processed on these machines and that when slicing several parallel food bars and mechanically fixed grippers, the food bars are partially strongly compressed prior to slicing.
It was therefore the object of the present invention to provide methods which do not have the disadvantages of the prior art.
The problem is solved by a method according to claim 1.
It was extremely surprising for the person skilled in the art and it was not to be expected that food bars of any length could be cut open with the method according to the invention. The method according to the invention is to be carried out on comparatively small slicing machines, because the means, for example a gripper, only has to be brought into contact with the food bar at a comparatively late point in time.
Preferably, the means, for example, a gripper with the food bar force, form and / or cohesively and reversibly connected.
Invention, the connection between the agent after the start of slicing occurs. A compound of the agent, for example, a gripper after the start of slicing has the advantage that food bars of any length can be cut open. The connection between the agent and the food bar takes place, for example, shortly before the rear end of the food bar is in the area of the means of transport or just before the food bar is cut so far that a secure hold between the conveyor belts is no longer guaranteed.
In another preferred embodiment, the means is removed after cutting from the feed path. This is preferably done by retracting the agent from the feed path. In another preferred embodiment, the agent is removed from the feed path so that the least possible loss of time arises. This is preferably done by a movement of the means transverse to the feed path.
In a further preferred embodiment of the present invention, the connection between the means and the food bars is released after completion of the slicing of at least one food bar. This means that it may be advantageous that the slicing of the other food bars, which are not yet almost completely cut open, is also solved and these end pieces are recycled. This procedure leads to a comparatively high average slicing performance. In another preferred embodiment of the present invention, each food bar is cut open to the maximum and resulting incomplete portions are supplemented with food bars which are subsequently to be sliced. This procedure leads to a maximum utilization of material. The operator can choose between these two operating modes at any time and adapt them, for example, to the product to be sliced.
In a further preferred embodiment of the method according to the invention, the means is at least temporarily driven exclusively by the transport means, preferably conveyor belts, which transport the food bars in the direction of the knife and / or the food bar itself; ie moved in the direction of the knife. This means that the means, for example, a gripper temporarily has no own drive. The movement of the gripper in the direction of the knife is thus for example, characterized in that it is positively connected to the food bar. Furthermore, the transport can take place in that adjusts a frictional connection, for example, a frictional engagement between the means and the conveyor belts, which also transport the food bar, and the agent is thereby transported in the direction of the knife. This embodiment of the method according to the invention has the advantage that the means only driven and the drives need only be controlled to make contact between the agent and the food bar and possibly later to remove the means from the feed path. At least in the meantime, the means will not be driven independently.
