Abstract

The zip has hooks (1.1, 1.2) fastened in a defined distance (a) on a highly elastic sewn right and left straps (2.1, 2.2) that are connected together in a form-fit manner in closed condition. The straps permit a high expansion in a longitudinal direction with respect to an elastic intermediate space (3). The hooks respectively lie at the left and right strap. The straps are guided apart in a v-shape while closing by a catch (4). The hooks have elasticity so that the hooks engage against a light resistance while closing by the catch and provide a stable connection in the closed condition.

Description

The present invention relates to a zipper with novel closure system according to the preamble of claim 1.

In the known types of zipper metal or plastic parts (toothed chains), which are mounted on two sewing belts, joined by a closure piece v-shaped each other, wherein each part of the toothed chain has a recess and an elevation. Offset opposite parts join together alternately, each engaging an increase in a recess of the adjacent part and thus positively connected to each other. If such a zipper were made with elastic sewing bands and stretched excessively in the closed state, then the respective increase of the toothed chain slips out of the associated depression of the neighboring part, the positive connection is lost and the closure breaks open. So far one was not able to perform highly elastic garments in the closure area sufficiently longitudinally extensible.

The present invention describes a longitudinally highly elastic zipper, which is largely insensitive to longitudinal strain and contributes significantly to wearing comfort in very elastic garments or improves the possibility of movement.

Hoes are fastened on highly elastic sewing belts at defined, uniform intervals, which are joined together vertically when closing and form a permanent form-fit independently of the elongation in the longitudinal direction.

The hooks on the left sewing belt are, for example, vertical or standing, those on the right sewing belt exactly opposite horizontally or horizontally arranged. By a special closure piece, the hooks of the right sewing belt are continuously guided from outside to inside and hooked into the opposite hooks of the left sewing belt against a low resistance (plastic snap connection).

As a result, a hook chain is formed which has stretchable areas between the hooks and therefore forms a highly elastic connection in the longitudinal direction.

The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying figures.

As shown, the lower ends of the sewing belts can be connected to one another by a fixed part 5 or can be made to open by means of known closure forms.

Figure 3 shows cross sections through the closure 4, wherein in section AA attached to the elastic sewing bands hook 1.1, 1.2 in the open or decoupled state, in the section BB can be seen in the closed state.
