Stopper assembly for a receptacle provided with a neck (12), the said assembly comprising an elastomeric stopper (501) and a cap (502) of plastic material, adapted to cover both the neck and the stopper in position in the neck, and comprising a ring (503) adapted to encircle the stopper and the neck in the mounted state, the said ring being provided with means (503G) for locking onto the neck, and an operating device (504) adapted to be mounted on the ring with an angular orientation anywhere around a central axis (X503) of the said ring, the said operating device being provided with means (505D) for actuating the locking means, characterised in that the said means for actuating comprise an annular margin (505D) of the said operating device, the said margin being adapted for engagement between an external skirt (503A) of the said ring (503) and at least one foot forming a locking means (503G) and extending radially towards the said axis (X503) from the said skirt (503A).
  2. Stopper assembly according to claim 1, characterised in that the said ring (503) comprises an annular part (503C) at the centre of which is defined an aperture (503Q) for access to an exposed face (501 B) of the said stopper and in that the said annular part is connected to the said skirt by a plurality of bridges (503D) extending to the vicinity of the locking feet (503G) and in that the said bridges and the said legs together define an annular space (503V) for the reception of the said annular margin (505D) of the operating device (504).
  3. Stopper assembly according to any of the foregoing claims, characterised in that it comprises means (505C1; 505C2) for maintaining the said device on the said ring in a rest position where the said means for actuating are not operational and where a thrusting effort (F2), generally parallel to an axis of symmetry (X1) of the said neck, can be transmitted from the said operating device (504) to the said ring (503) by the said means for maintaining.
  4. Stopper assembly according to claim 3, characterised in that the said means for maintaining (505C1; 505C) include means for transmitting to the said ring (503) a thrust generally parallel to an axis of symmetry (X1) of the said neck.
  5. Stopper assembly according to claim 4, characterised in that the said means for maintaining in position (505C1; 505C) and for transmitting thrust extend radially to the inside of the ring (503) in the mounted configuration of the stopper assembly (500) on a neck of a receptacle.
  6. Stopper assembly according to claim 4 or 5, characterised in that the means for transmitting thrust comprise at least one elastic tongue (505C1; 505C) provided with a profile (505E) extending towards the outside of the said operating device (504) and adapted to be engaged in an annular groove (503L) disposed on an inside face of the said ring (503).
  7. Stopper assembly according to any foregoing claim, characterised in that it comprises means (503L; 505C2; 503P; 505F; 505R) for maintaining the said device (504) on the said ring (503) in a locking position wherein the said annular margin (505D) acts on the said locking legs (503G).
  8. Stopper assembly according to claim 7, characterised in that the means for maintaining the said device in a locking position comprise at least one tongue (505C2) of which an outside profile (505E) is adapted to be engaged in an annular groove (503L) disposed on an inside face of the said ring (503).
  9. Stopper assembly according to claim 7, the means for maintaining the said member in a locking position comprising at least one part of an external radial flange (505R) of the operating device, adapted to be engaged in an annular groove (503L) disposed on an inside surface of the said ring.
  10. Stopper assembly according to claim 9, characterised in that the said flange (505R) is inclined oppositely to the means for actuating (505D) in a direction away from a central axis (X505) of the said operating device (504).
  11. Stopper assembly according to any of claims 3 - 10 , characterised in that the said means for maintaining comprise at least one profile (505E; 505R) disposed on the said operating device (504) and at least one complementary profile (503L) disposed on the said ring (503), the said profiles being engaged when the said member is in the said rest position and/or in the said locking position.
  12. Stopper assembly according to claim 11, characterised in that the said operating device (504) carries two kinds of profile (505C1; 505C2; 505E; 506R) adapted to be in engagement with a corresponding complementary profile (503L) of the said ring when the said member is each of the said positions of rest and locking.
  13. Stopper assembly according to claim 12, characterised in that the said operating device (504) carries at least two elastic tongues (505C1; 506C2) provided with profiles (505E) which extend for different distances (d1; d2) from the said annular margin (505D), whereas the said ring (503) is provided with an annular groove (503L) for reception of the said profiles.
  14. Stopper assembly according to claim 12, characterised in that the said operating device (504) carries at least one elastic tongue (505C) provided with a profile (505E) adapted to be engaged with the complementary profile (503L) of the said ring when the said device is in a rest position, whereas the or each said tongue (505C) is disposed in windows (505Q) provided in a peripheral wall (505J) of the said operating device (504), and in that means (505R) for retention of the operating device (504), in a configuration in which the said two means (505D) actuate the locking means (503G) of the said ring (505) extend over the external face of the said wall, between two such windows.
  15. Stopper assembly according to claims 2 and 11, characterised in that the said operating device (504) is provided with at least one hook (505F) adapted to come into engagement with the said annular part (503C) when the said device is in the said locking position.
  16. Stopper assembly according to any foregoing claim, characterised in that the said operating device is bipartite and comprises:
    - a generally annular part (505) provided with the said annular actuating margin (505D), the said part being adapted to cover partially the said stopper (501) and including an aperture (505B) for access to an exposed face (501 B) of the said stopper and
    - a cover (506) realised in an removable manner with the said part and covering at least the said aperture, the said cover being provided, on its face turned towards the said part, with a centering profile (506C) adapted to cooperate with a complementary profile (505P) arranged on a face of the said part receiving the cap for substantially aligning a central axis (X506) of the said cover and a central axis (X505) of the said aperture.
  17. Stopper assembly according to any of the foregoing claims, characterised in that the said operating device (504) is constituted by an annular element (505) which carries the first and second means (505C, 505D) as well as a cover (506) fixed to the annular element by means of locking feet on the margin (505B1) of a central aperture (505B) of the annular element and in that the cover can be mounted (F0) on the said annular element only by means of an elastic deformation of the annular element, the said deformation resulting from a force (F600) which can be exercised only before the said operating device is mounted on the said ring (503).
  18. Stopper assembly according to claim 17, characterised in that each foot (506A) is provided with a tip (506A1) for hooking onto the said margin (505B1) of the said aperture (505B), the distance (d4) between the said tip and the face (506C) of the said cover (506) in contact against the said annular element being less than the distance (d3), taken parallel to a central axis (X505) of the said annular element (505) and when the cover (506) is not connected to the said annular element, between the said margin (505B1) and a portion (505A) of the annular element which receives in support the said face of the said cover.
  19. Method of mounting an assembly according to either claim 17 or claim 18, characterised in that it comprises the steps consisting of:
    a) - exercising on the margin of the central aperture (505B) of the the annular element (505) a force (F600) generally parallel to a central axis (X505) of the said aperture, the said force being applied against a side of the annular element opposed to that by which the said cover (506) is to be mounted, the said force being exercised so as to deform the margin elastically;
    b) - pressing (F0) the said cover towards the said annular element according to a direction opposite to the said force, so as to engage its locking feet (506A) against the said elastically deformed margin (505B1).
  20. Receptacle (1) fitted with a stopper assembly according to any of claims 1 to 18.
