Definitions

  • the invention relates to a container having a container body, which has a primary opening which is closed by acting as a first cover element metal mirror, wherein the metal mirror comprises a defined by a dividing line cover tongue, which releases a discharge opening after breaking, and the lid tongue a Inclined surface which cooperates with a, arranged on a substantially parallel to the mirror movable opening means first projection for applying a force on the lid tongue to break the dividing line and wherein the inclined surface, at least a portion of an edge of a cover tongue arranged on the increase bead.
  • the invention further relates to a lid for such a container and a method for opening such a container.
  • Such a generic container is in the WO 01/83303 A1 described. Further containers are for example in the American patents US 3,726,432 . US 5,816,427 and in the European patent EP 1 265 792 B1 disclosed.
  • the lid of the container is designed so that a projection of a cover element is moved in the plane of the mirror and can be guided on an inclined surface on the lid tongue, so that a force extending substantially in the normal direction to the lid tongue force can be generated, whereby the metal mirror along a Dividing line breaks, so that the discharge opening is released.
  • the systemic path must be greater than the deflection of the mirror.
  • this systemic path ie the bead height or depth is as large as possible.
  • there are limits to any extension of the bead flank serving as a ramp since, owing to the small thickness of the mirror, a great deformation of the mirror material occurs above a certain bead height or depth.
  • only limited material is available for the shaping of the inclined surface, since the area of the lid tongue is just surrounded by the dividing line.
  • the US 4,887,712 describes a further container in which the lid tongue comprises an inclined surface which cooperates with a projection on a lid member for releasing a dispensing opening, wherein the inclined surface is composed of a portion of a flank of a recess bead and a portion of an edge of a raised bead.
  • the invention has the object in a generic container, a sufficiently large force to break the mirror on the dividing line of the lid tongue and at the same time to provide easy handling of the container during the opening process.
  • a container according to the invention has a lid tongue which comprises both an indentation bead and, adjacent thereto, a raised bead, wherein the oblique surface is composed of at least a portion of an edge of the recess bead and at least a portion of a flank of the raised bead.
  • the inclined surface ie the ramp along which the projection is guided during the opening process
  • the ramp height is the extension of the inclined surface parallel to the axis of the container.
  • the adjacent shaping of a depression bead and an increase bead can compensate for deformation forces and stress that can cause the material to fold, so that with the combination of two oppositely formed beads, a greater effective ramp height can be set in comparison to the design of an elevation bead. or a recess bead on the lid tongue to provide an acting as a control surface inclined surface for the projection.
  • Such a design of the container according to the invention is particularly suitable in those cases in which during the forming process on the lid no deep-drawing process with hold-down (fold holder) can be performed, but only a deformation of the mirror with a positive or negative mold.
  • a particularly compact design in the region of the lid is achieved in the inventive design of the container in that the substantially movable in the mirror plane opening means for applying a force on the lid tongue is formed as a second lid member which is disposed above the first lid member and relative to this and the container body is rotatably mounted about the axis thereof.
  • This second lid member to which the first projection is attached is formed as a rotary valve, wherein the projection on the control surface performs a rotational movement.
  • a venting means arranged on the second lid element is provided for ventilating the container before breaking the dividing line defining the lid tongue.
  • the lid tongue comprises a ventilation tongue, which is defined by a line extending on the cover tongue dividing line, wherein the venting means comprises a second projection, which cooperates with the ventilation tongue to generate a force approximately perpendicular to the mirror on the ventilation tongue in the movement of the second cover member break the dividing line of the ventilation tongue.
  • This measure according to the invention has the advantage that despite the provision of a ventilation means, the mirror does not have to be designed to provide a further opening, since this ventilation opening is located precisely on the cover tongue, which defines the actual discharge opening.
  • Such Design is particularly advantageous if the container is to be made resealable.
  • the dividing line on the first cover element for fixing the lid tongue can be formed as a line of weakness, such as a tear line, but it is also possible that the mirror is cut along the dividing line and subsequently, for example, by applying a plastic to the inside of the cover in the region of the dividing line, the cut again is closed.
  • a prepared dispensing opening is referred to as a "post-repair" opening.
  • this plastic layer and thus the dividing line is broken in this case by the application of force to the lid tongue and subsequently bent the lid tongue inwards into the container.
  • the container according to the invention may comprise a container body of a particularly dimensionally stable material such as metal, plastic such as polyethylene, cardboard or a composite material.
  • the mirror acting as the first cover element for closing the container body is usually made of metal to allow the usual forming processes for the design of the lid.
  • bead generally refers to a depression or elevation in the cover mirror, wherein the bead height or depth generally relates to the ground plane of the mirror.
  • the depression bead and the raised bead merge without a shoulder, wherein the transition region is formed substantially without bead bottom.
  • the flank of the increase bead closes directly to the flank of the recess bead, it may be useful if both flanks in the transition region have the same slope with respect to the mirror surface.
  • Beading width, bead flank and bead height of the recess bead or the raised bead can be adapted to the respective requirements.
  • An oval shape in plan view can be advantageous, for example, if a projection cooperating with the bead or flank of the bead has a predetermined shape, so that the bead is adapted to this shape or to the curve which describes the projection during the opening movement.
  • the bead depth of the recess bead may be substantially equal in magnitude to the bead height of the bead.
  • the stresses in the mirror material resulting from the formation of the beads in the cover tongue can be compensated particularly symmetrically.
  • the tension compensation provided by the adjacent arrangement of the raised and recessed beads also makes possible, in particular, a simplified production method of the container according to the invention in the area of the lid, since in this way the recess bead and the raised bead can each be introduced into the lid tongue in a forming process without the use of a hold-down device.
  • flank angle of the beads can be adjusted very precisely and in dependence on, for example, the mirror material and its thickness, the power transmission to the lid tongue. It has proved to be advantageous for a conventional mirror if the depression bead and / or the elevation bead have or have a flank angle of 30 ° -70 °, in particular 40 ° -50 °, in the effective region of the inclined surface with the associated first projection.
  • the flank angle refers to the angle of the bead flank to the ground plane of the lid tongue or to the mirror surface.
  • the first projection which is associated with the opening surface on the cover tongue, is in its initial position before breaking the dividing line of the cover tongue protrudes into the recess bead and having in this a freewheel, within which the first projection does not touch the inclined surface during the movement of the opening means in the opening direction. It may be advantageous if the arranged on the venting means second projection, which cooperates with the ventilation tongue, is arranged in its initial position before the breaking of the dividing line of the lid tongue in the immediate vicinity of the ventilation tongue.
  • the second projection cooperates directly with the ventilation tongue for releasing the ventilation opening during the opening movement, before the first projection interacts with the oblique surface formed by the recess and elevation bead for releasing the discharge opening.
  • the second projection advantageously has a freewheel during the opening movement, which is less than that of the first projection.
  • the ventilation tongue may comprise a raised bead, which is, for example, circular in plan view.
  • the mirror which comprises the lid tongue
  • various measures are conceivable.
  • the mirror may be connected to the container body by means of a fold, a bond or also a soldering.
  • the second cover element may have an off-center opening, which by the rotation of the second Cover element can be brought over the discharge opening. It may be expedient if the second cover element has substantially the same radial extent to the axis as the first cover element and is rotatable relative to the container body about its axis. In this case, the second cover element may have a circumferential annular groove which receives the container edge and / or an edge of the first cover element formed as an annular flange or annular bead.
  • the second cover element may comprise a material of the container body and / or a material of the first cover element.
  • a sealing device In order to make it possible to reclose the opened container, provision can be made for a sealing device to be provided between the first and the second lid element outside the dividing line of the lid tongue, in particular in the form of a bead of a sealing material circulating on the edge of the dispensing opening. On the other hand, it can also be provided that not only on one of the lid elements but on both lid elements sealingly acting seals are arranged.
  • the first projection on the opening means abuts against the edge of the dispensing opening the rotation is stopped during the opening process.
  • the first projection also abuts against the edge of the dispensing opening and is stopped in this way when the opening means after the opening operation again moves back to the starting position or beyond becomes.
  • this first projection in the form of a recess bead, in particular a recess bead is formed on the second cover element, which extends in a starting position with its bead head in a recess bead on the lid tongue inside.
