Claims (12)

  1. An electrically operated razor (1) having a shaving foil (12) with a large number of perforations (16), on which a blade block (28), driven by an electric drive having a plurality of blades (30) situated one after the other, running transverse to the shaving movement (Y), glides in oscillating fashion in order to cut off hairs that enter into the space (24) of the blade block (28) through the perforations (16) using the blades (30), wherein the space (24) of the blade block (28) is formed on the one hand by the shaving foil (12) and on the other hand by side walls (21, 22) of a shaving head frame (6) that accommodates the shaving foil (12), as well as by a floor wall (23), wherein the space (24) serves to accommodate a medium, characterized in that the medium is a foam (39), that the space (24) can be filled with the foam (39), that on the blade block (28) a piston wall (38) is designed that is movable with the blade block (28) and that runs transverse to the shaving movement (Y), said piston wall forms, on the one hand, on the inner surface (20) of the shaving foil (12), and on the other hand, during operation of the razor, an air-filled swept volume (41) with the foam (39).
  2. The razor according to Claim 1, characterized in that a respective piston wall (38) is designed at both ends of the blade block (28).
  3. The razor according to Claim 2, characterized in that each piston wall (38) is formed respectively by the final blades (35, 36) of the blade block (28).
  4. The razor according to Claim 3, characterized in that the piston wall (38) is designed as a disk.
  5. The razor according to Claim 1, characterized in that in a sidewall (47) that limits the space (24), a duct (19) is designed, through which the foam (39) can be brought into the space (24).
  6. The razor according to Claim 5, characterized in that a sealing surface (45) is designed on the inlet of the duct (19).
  7. The razor according to Claim 1, characterized in that the foam (39) is a commercially available shaving foam.
  8. The razor according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the shaving foam (39) is enriched with methanol.
  9. The razor according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the foam (39) is enriched with mint.
  10. The razor according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the foam contains skin care product.
  11. The razor according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the foam contains anti-corrosion and/or lubricating agents for the shaving parts.
  12. A method for cooling a skin surface during a shaving process using an electrically operated razor (1) having a shaving foil (12) with a large number of perforations (16), on which a blade block (28), driven by an electric drive having a plurality of blades (30) situated one after the other, running transverse to the shaving movement (Y), glides in oscillating fashion in order to cut off, hairs that enter into the space (24) of the blade block (28) through the perforations (16) using the blades (30), wherein the space (24) of the blade block (28) is formed on the one hand by the shaving foil (12) and on the other hand by side walls (21, 22) of a shaving head frame (6) that accommodates the shaving foil (12), as well as by a floor wall (23), characterized in that before shaving the space (24) is filled with a foam (39), that after switching on the razor (1) a piston wall (38) designed on the blade block (28) pushes the foam (39) far enough that it forms an air-filled swept volume (41) with the foam (39) and the shaving foil (12), and that on the one hand during the forward stroke of the piston wall (38) air is conveyed outward from the swept volume (41) through the perforations (16) of the shaving foil (12), and on the other hand during the return stroke air is suctioned into the swept volume (41) via the perforations (16).
