Abstract

Es wird ein Verfahren zum Biegen von Werkstücken (20) mit Hilfe einer einen Biegestempel (5) sowie eine Matrize (13) umfassenden Biegevorrichtung (1) vorgeschlagen. Vor dem eigentlichen Biegevorgang wird zumindest eine Referenzbiegung durchgeführt, bei der während des Biegevorgangs verschiedene Biegewinkel zusammen mit der zugehörigen Eindringtiefe des Stempels (5) in die Matrize (13) sowie der Biegekraft erfasst werden. Zusätzlich wird für verschiedene Biegewinkel auch die Schenkellänge und/oder die Schenkellängenveränderung des Werkstücks (20) bestimmt und abgespeichert. Alternativ oder ergänzend kann auch noch der k-Faktor und der Biegeinnenradius für das Werkstück (20) berechnet und abgespeichert werden. Die erfassten Werte werden derart abgespeichert, dass bei nachfolgenden Biegevorgängen darauf zurückgegriffen werden kann, um die für einen bestimmten Sollbiegewinkel notwendige Eindringtiefe des Stempels (5) in die Matrize (13) zu berechnen. Zur Bestimmung des Biegewinkels wie auch der Schenkellänge ist die Biegevorrichtung mit einem Messsystem (16) ausgerüstet, das zumindest eine Lichtquelle sowie eine Kamera aufweist. Die Lichtquelle projiziert zur Bestimmung des Biegewinkels einen linienförmigen Lichtstrahl (17) derart auf das Werkstück (20), dass mittels einer Kamera die Lage der auf die Oberfläche des Werkstücks (20) gerichteten Linie gemessen und aufgrund des zwischen Licht und Kameraachse eingeschlossenen Winkels der Biegewinkel berechnet werden kann.
