If necessary, depending on the desired stiffness, the washers may be replaced by simple cylindrical spacers.
- the block 22 can both translate (directions T) and pivot (arrow R) relative to the geometric axis 27 of the rod 20.
- the subframe 12 is subjected to significant stresses that result in deformations of its structure.
- the warping (or twisting) of the subframe lead to a pivoting of the side edges of the subframe relative to the chassis. These warps are absorbed by the pivoting capacity R of each block 22 relative to its rod 20, so relative to the frame.
- the subframe 12 can therefore pivot relative to the chassis 4 at each attachment point 17.
- the invention thus provides each attachment point 17 of the subframe 12 with a translation and pivoting capacity relative to the chassis 4.

This is particularly important when the chassis has a rigid structure that does not tolerate such deformations.
