Abstract

A container (1) for the transport of a foodstuff comprises an upper and a lower container half (2, 3) which are interconnected for pivoting between a closed and an open position (4). Each container half comprises a flat bottom and/or cover wall (5, 6), from which side walls (7, 8, 9, 10) extend essentially obliquely upwards or downwards and outwards to the respective other container half (2, 3). In order to improve the thermal insulation with containers of this nature and at the same time to achieve increased stability, in particular with containers made from paper, cardboard or the like, the bottom and/or cover wall (5, 6) is formed double-walled at least in places. A one-part blank (40) is provided for the manufacture of a container of this nature.

Description

The invention relates to a container having an upper and a lower container half, which are pivotally connected with each other for pivoting between closed and open positions, each container half a flat bottom, or top wall and of these substantially obliquely outwards and up or down to each other container half has extending side walls.

Such a container is known, for example, for the storage of a hamburger or the like. After inserting the hamburger in the container this is closed by pivoting the upper container opening in the closed position and can be carried by the consumer. Partially carried only from a corresponding point of sale for the hamburger to sitting over a few meters or for a short time. Subsequently, the container is opened by pivoting the upper container half in the open position again and removed the hamburger completely from the container for consumption.

Frequently, however, the entrainment of the container takes place to a more distant location or possibly even to the home of the consumer, so that the consumption takes place only after 10, 15 or more minutes after purchase. Although corresponding containers, in particular made of a foam plastic material, sometimes already have a certain degree of thermal insulation, such containers are more expensive and, in particular, less expensive to recycle, for example compared to containers made of paper, cardboard or the like.

The invention is therefore based on the object to improve a container of the type mentioned in that it has better thermal insulation and at the same time, in particular in containers made of paper, cardboard or the like increased stability.

This object is solved by the features of claim 1.

In particular, the invention was characterized in that at least in places the bottom and / or top wall is double-walled. This double walling results on the one hand better thermal insulation by air chambers formed and on the other hand increased stability due to the use of a first and second bottom and / or top wall. The adjacent to the pivot side walls side walls are also double-walled.

A second bottom or top wall extends between the two opposing double-walled side walls, the second bottom or top wall being connected to lower ends of interior wall sections of these opposing side walls which are folded over towards the container interior.

To ensure that contact of the first and second walls is largely avoided with food in the container and substantially the air chamber is completely formed between these first and second walls, the lower ends of the inner wall portions are spaced from the first bottom or top wall. This ensures that at least in the region of these lower ends no contact of the first and second wall takes place. In addition, the distance can be chosen so large in this context or the second walls be held under a correspondingly large voltage between the other side walls, that also takes place approximately in the middle of the respective bottom or top walls no contact between the first and second wall.

It may be sufficient in this context, if only the top wall is double-walled, since the corresponding container is arranged with its bottom wall usually on a substrate, in a bag or other transport container or the like, resulting in a certain heat insulation in the bottom wall results.

In order to realize the pivotability of the upper container half relative to the lower container half in a simple manner, the pivot side walls along their free end edges can be pivotally connected together to form a pivot line.

In order to facilitate opening and closing of the container in this context, the pivot line along the free end edges may have a mean cutting line. As a result, the resistance is reduced, in particular when opening the upper container half, without the thermal insulation of the container being significantly adversely affected by the corresponding cutting line.

To prevent straight cut edges from colliding and making it difficult to open the container halves, the cut line may be substantially undulating.

In order to be able to produce the container simply, the second bottom or top wall can be joined together from opposite inner wall sections protruding part walls formed. As a result, the partial walls are continuations of the corresponding inner wall sections and are in particular connected to their lower ends. There is then a connection of the partial walls with each other in such a way that a possible continuous air chamber between the first and second walls of each bottom and lid is formed.

Such a connection can take place, for example, in that the partial walls are connected to one another along their mutually facing end sections. Such a connection can be made by gluing.

In order to stiffen the respective second walls in this context, the end sections can be formed in a step-shaped manner from essentially vertical and horizontal step walls, wherein in particular the horizontal step walls are connected to one another by gluing or the like.

Again, there is the possibility that the partial walls are not in contact with the respective first wall of the floor or lid in the area of their interconnected step walls.

However, in order to further increase the rigidity of the container and to ensure the largest possible air space between the first and second walls of the bottom and lid, a corresponding horizontal step wall with the inside of the corresponding first floor or top wall in plant and especially there glued. The respective other horizontal step wall is then glued opposite the first wall of the bottom or lid with the other horizontal step wall, so that in this area substantially forms a three-layered structure, even with contact of the first and second wall in this area a sufficient thermal Insulation ensured. In particular, it should be noted in this context that the corresponding food is not in contact with the horizontal step wall, but by the interconnected horizontal step walls and the adjoining vertical step walls, a trench or groove is formed, which itself forms an air chamber for thermal insulation and in particular prevents contact of the food directly with the horizontal step walls or the first wall of floor or lid. In order to enable a closure of the container in a simple manner, a particular side wall opposite the pivot side wall may be formed as a closing side wall, wherein the closing side wall of the lower container half is releasably connected in the closed position with the upper container half.

In order to ensure a secure connection of the various side walls together and further to increase the stability of the container, sticking flanges connected by lateral ends of the pivot side walls and / or closing side walls may be projected to inner sides of the remaining side walls.

Another means for increasing the stability of the container can be seen therein, when at least the closing side wall of the upper and lower container half is concave inwardly curved.

In order not only to increase the stability further, but also to avoid, for example, deformation of the container made of paper, cardboard or the like by heat and steam, lateral ends of the outer wall and / or inner wall sections of the corresponding container halves with the inside of the closing and / or Verschwenkseitenwände connected adhesive flanges stand out.

To save material and also to simplify the manufacture of the container can be made of a one-piece blank of paper, cardboard or the like.

Such a one-piece blank for the production of the container has in particular a bottom and a lid portion which are interconnected via their respective Verschwenkseitenwandabschnitte, said bottom and / or lid portion having at least one side wall portion with adjoining this inner side wall portion and additional second bottom or top wall portion , When manufacturing the container, the corresponding inner side wall portions are folded relative to outer side wall portions to the container interior and adjoining the inner side wall portions second wall portions of the bottom or lid then form together with the respective first floor or top wall portion of the corresponding double-walled wall of the container. Furthermore the corresponding side walls of the inner and outer side wall section are double-walled.

If the corresponding second floor or top wall is not formed in one piece from the bottom or top wall section, there is also the possibility that this section protrudes from in each case two inner side wall sections of opposite side wall sections and correspondingly be connected together with their free ends facing each other when the container is produced.

In order to be able to produce the container in a simple manner from the blank, fold lines can be formed between the side wall section and the first bottom or top wall section. These allow a simple folding of the side wall portion upwards relative to the corresponding first bottom or top wall portion.

In order subsequently also to be able to fold the inner side wall section into the container interior in a simple manner, fold lines and in particular also partially cut fold lines can be formed between it and the second bottom or top wall section and also corresponding to the outer side wall sections.

Partially cut fold lines are conceivable in particular for the connection between the inner side wall section and in each case the second floor or cover wall section.

The described in connection with the container step-like design of the end portions of the corresponding partial walls of the second bottom and top wall is thereby easily realized in the blank that at the free end of the second Bodenbeziehungsweise cover wall portion a partial cutting line and a fold line parallel spaced from each other to form vertical and horizontal step wall are formed. The partial cut line is a fold line which is cut over part of the material thickness, but is not perforated or completely cut, for example. This is used in particular for folding down the vertical step wall in the direction of the first floor or top wall.

In order to ensure the pivotability of the two container halves in a simple manner when cutting, corresponding Verschwenkseitenabschnitte the side wall portions may have an approximately wavy line along their line of intersection or pivot line, which is continued in both directions laterally by partially cut lines and then by fold lines. The partially cut lines may be formed as perforations.

In order to provide corresponding connecting elements for the detachable closing of the container halves during cutting, a closure side wall section projecting from the first bottom wall section may each have a latching recess at its lateral ends. In this, a corresponding counter-element of the upper container half engage to realize the closed position of the container.

If an above-mentioned adhesive flange is adhesively bonded to an inner side of the closure side wall section during production of the container, and if this adhesive flange is glued to edge portions at lateral ends of the section, at least on one side of the outer and / or inner side wall section can a respective adhesive flange be provided, in particular with the latching recess protrude the Verschließseitenwandabschnitts matching Einrastausnehmung.

A corresponding counter element can be formed, in particular, in that the outer and / or inner side wall section of the lid section has a latching projection at one end, which engages in the corresponding latching recess when the container is closed.

In the following, an advantageous embodiment of the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the figures attached in the drawing.

Fig. 1 shows a perspective oblique plan view of a container 1 according to the invention in the open position 4. In the closed position, an upper container half 2 is folded by a corresponding pivot line 13 on the upwardly open lower container half 3, wherein the corresponding closed position by engagement of the upper container half 2 protruding latching hooks 57, 58 is determined in corresponding Einrastausnehmungen 55, 56 at the lower container half 3.

The upper container half 2 has a top wall 6, see also Fig. 2 formed by a flat and substantially square piece of paper, cardboard or the like. From this top wall 6 are along all sides obliquely above in Fig. 1 corresponding side walls 7, 8, 9 and 10 from. The side walls 7 and 8 are double-walled outer wall portion 29, see Fig. 2 , and inner wall portion 17 and 18, respectively. The respective side walls 7, 8 are connected to each other at both ends via the further side walls 9 and 10. The side wall 9 forms a pivot side wall which is connected via the corresponding pivot line 13 with a corresponding pivot side wall 9 of the lower container half 3 for pivoting the container halves between the open and closed positions. Opposite the pivot side wall, a closing side wall 10 is arranged, which is associated with the corresponding shooting side wall 10 of the lower container half 3 in the closed position of the container 1. The closing side wall 10 of the upper container half 2 has at its lateral ends inwardly to the container 1 folded adhesive flanges 32 which abut respectively on inner sides 31 of the double-walled side walls 7, 8 and are glued there. Corresponding adhesive flanges 32 are also provided on the corresponding closing side wall 10 and also glued to inner sides 31 of the double-walled side walls 7, 8.

Insbesondere stehen diese Klebeflansche 35 von Außenwandabschnitten 29 der doppelwandigen Seitenwände 8, 9 ab.This applies analogously also for closing side wall 10 and pivot side wall 9 of the lower container half 3 with bottom wall 5, although no glue flanges protrude from the closing side wall 10 in the lower container half 3, but according to the double-walled side walls 7, 8, see adhesive flanges 35 in Fig. 2 , Especially stand this adhesive flanges 35 of outer wall portions 29 of the double-walled side walls 8, 9 from.

The corresponding pivot line 13 for pivoting the two container halves 2, 3 is formed along end edges 11, 12 of the pivot side walls 9 of the respective container half 2, 3. The corresponding pivot line 13 has in the middle a section line 14 in waveform, in Fig. 1 in the open position 4 of the container 1 a wave trough and two wave crests along the end edge 11 of the pivot side wall 9 of the lower container half 3 and a wave crest along the end edge 12 of the pivot side wall 9 of the upper container half 2 are visible.

In the illustrated embodiment, at least the double-walled side walls 7, 8 and also the closing side wall 10 of the lower container half 3 have a greater height than the corresponding side walls of the upper container half 2.

Deckelwand doppelwandig ausgebildet, siehe erste Bodenwand 5 bzw. erste Deckelwand 6 und entsprechend zweite Bodenwand 15 und zweite Deckelwand 16.In addition to the double-walledness of the side walls 7, 8 of both container halves 2, 3, the corresponding bottom wall or top wall is likewise double-walled, see first bottom wall 5 or first top wall 6 and corresponding second bottom wall 15 and second top wall 16.

The respective second walls 15, 16 extend from lower ends 19, 20 of the respective inner wall section 17 or 18 of the opposite double-walled side walls 7, 8. The second walls 15, 16 are formed in pairs by partial walls 21, 22 and 23, 24. These are in Fig. 2 when cutting 40 well recognizable. The partial walls 21 and 22 are connected at their facing end portions 25 together to form the second bottom wall 15.

The connection can be made in one embodiment by direct bonding of the respective end portions 25, wherein a corresponding air space or an air chamber between the first and second bottom wall is provided over the entire extent of these walls.

According to the embodiment Fig. 1 is approximately centrally formed in the second bottom wall 15 and corresponding to the second top wall 16, a groove or a trench, the has an approximately rectangular cross-section, wherein a longer rectangular side is formed by a horizontal step wall 27 and a shorter rectangle side by a vertical step wall 26 of each partial wall. The vertical step walls 26 essentially extend in each case between the two bottom walls or cover walls and the corresponding horizontal step walls run parallel to these and are connected to each other and in one embodiment also to the first bottom or top wall 5, 6 by bonding in particular.

At the corresponding lateral ends 30, in particular the closing side wall 10, the latching recesses 55, 56 are formed, see also Fig. 2 in which, in the closed position of the container 1, the extension of the outer wall sections 29 and inner wall sections 17, 18 of the corresponding double-walled side walls 7, 8 arranged latching hooks 57, 58 are assigned.

A maximum open position of the container 1 is determined by an investment of the outer sides of the facing pivot side walls 9 of upper and lower container half 2, 3.

In a further embodiment, the side walls and in particular the closing side walls 10 of upper and lower container half 2, 3 are not flat, but are concavely curved towards the container interior, so that they extend centrally in the longitudinal direction of each of these closing side walls furthest into the container interior. This is dashed in Fig. 1 for the closing side wall 10 of the lower container half 3 shown.

In Fig. 2 is a plan view of a one-piece blank 40 for producing the container 1 according to Fig. 1 represented, wherein here the same parts are partially identified by the same reference numerals.

The blank 40 has a bottom portion 36 and a lid portion 37. The bottom portion 36 forms after folding and connecting the corresponding blank parts, the lower container half 3 and according to the lid portion 37, the upper container half 2 after Fig. 1 ,

The bottom section 36 comprises centrally an approximately square container bottom 5, which binds a first bottom wall. This is connected along its circumference by means of fold lines 45 to outer side wall sections 41, a pivoting side wall section 38 and a closing side wall section 53. The pivoting side wall section 38 follows the container 1 Fig. 1 Accordingly, the pivot side wall 9 and the Verschließseitenwandabschnitt 53, the closing side wall 10th

The pivoting side wall portion 38 is separated from the corresponding pivoting side wall portion 39 of the lid portion 37 via a central cutting line 14, see also Fig. 1 , which is wavy. At both lateral ends of this section line 14 is continued by partially cut or perforated fold lines 51 and then by further fold lines 52. At both lateral ends of the respective pivoting side wall sections 38, 39 adhesive flanges 32 are arranged, see also Fig. 1 , which can be applied to corresponding inner sides of the double-walled side walls 7, 8 and glued there.

The Verschließseitenwandabschnitt 53 has at its free or lateral ends 54, the Einrastausnehmungen 55 on.

Right and left in Fig. 2 For example, to the first bottom wall 5, first, the outer side wall portion 41, then an inner side wall portion 42 and then the corresponding second bottom wall portion 43 are arranged. Along corresponding fold lines 45, 59 on the one hand, a folding down of the outer side wall portion 41 upwards, then a collapse of the inner side wall portion 42, see also Fig. 1 , and then an arrangement of the second bottom wall portion 43 parallel to the first bottom wall 5. This is done analogously on the other side of the first bottom wall 5 in Fig. 2 Further, laterally at one end 34 of the outer side wall portions projecting adhesive flanges 35 are folded inwards and applied to a corresponding inner side 38 of the Verschließseitenwandabschnitts 53 and glued there, see again Fig. 1 ,

The two second bottom wall portions 43 after Fig. 2 form the corresponding partial walls 21, 22 after Fig. 1 , which are glued to each other at their facing free ends 48 and respective end portions 25. It will be first a vertical step wall 26, see Fig. 1 , umgekiappt by folding along the partially cut fold line 49 in the direction of the first bottom wall 5 and then arranged by fold line 45, the horizontal step wall 27 parallel to the first bottom wall 5. The corresponding horizontal step walls 27 of the mutually associated part walls 21, 22 are glued together and also with the first bottom wall 5.

Similarly, the structure of the lid portion 37 and also the folding of corresponding parts, such as Verschwenkseitenabschnitf 39, outer side wall portion 41, inner side wall portion 42, second cover wall portion 44 with the respective corresponding partially cut fold lines, fold lines 45, 46, 49, 50 and the like. In contrast to the bottom section 36, the cover section 37 has corresponding adhesive flanges 33 at lateral ends of the closure side wall section 53. These will be, see also Fig. 1 , Applied to corresponding inner sides of the inner side wall portions 42 and the inner wall sections 17 and 18 and glued there.

In addition, the corresponding inner and outer side wall portions 41, 42 at one end of the latching hooks 57, 58, the case of manufactured container Fig. 1 essentially form a latching hook 57, 58, which engages in the corresponding Reinrastausnehmung 57, 56.

As can be seen on the bottom section 36, the latching recess 55, 56 is composed, on the one hand, of the latching recess 55 of the closure side wall section 53 and, on the other hand, of the latching recess 56 of the adhesive flange 35. This is on the inside of Verschließseitenwandabschnitts 53 at the container Fig. 1 arranged and fixed so that the corresponding Einrastausnehmungen 55, 56 are arranged without overlap and corresponding to each other.

There is also the possibility that the corresponding trench or the groove in the second bottom wall 15 or the second cover wall 16 is dispensed with by connecting the corresponding end sections 25 or ends 47, 48 of the part walls 21, 27 directly and only to each other. As a result, this area of the corresponding second walls of the bottom and lid is also out of contact with the respective first wall 5, 6. This applies at least until a corresponding food such as a hamburger or the like is arranged in the container or is not too heavy. By the corresponding Digging, however, increases the rigidity of the container as well as the arrangement of the double-walled side walls or double-walled walls on the bottom or lid.

The container according to the invention is characterized in particular by an increase in rigidity which avoids corresponding deformations during handling of the container with or without food. Serve in particular the double-walled floor and the corresponding part of the lid. At the same time, the double-walled areas also serve for improved thermal insulation, so that the corresponding foodstuff, such as hamburger, sandwich or the like, stays warm or possibly even cold for longer. The stiffening of the container results in particular in such a container made of paper, cardboard or the like, a lower deformation, which otherwise occurs with appropriate heat and steam.
