Definitions
- the invention relates to a container having an upper and a lower container half, which are pivotally connected with each other for pivoting between closed and open positions, each container half a flat bottom, or top wall and of these substantially obliquely outwards and up or down to each other container half has extending side walls.
- Such a container is known, for example, for the storage of a hamburger or the like. After inserting the hamburger in the container this is closed by pivoting the upper container opening in the closed position and can be carried by the consumer. Partially carried only from a corresponding point of sale for the hamburger to sitting over a few meters or for a short time. Subsequently, the container is opened by pivoting the upper container half in the open position again and removed the hamburger completely from the container for consumption.
- the invention is therefore based on the object to improve a container of the type mentioned in that it has better thermal insulation and at the same time, in particular in containers made of paper, cardboard or the like increased stability.
- the invention was characterized in that at least in places the bottom and / or top wall is double-walled.
- This double walling results on the one hand better thermal insulation by air chambers formed and on the other hand increased stability due to the use of a first and second bottom and / or top wall.
- the adjacent to the pivot side walls side walls are also double-walled.
- a second bottom or top wall extends between the two opposing double-walled side walls, the second bottom or top wall being connected to lower ends of interior wall sections of these opposing side walls which are folded over towards the container interior.
- the lower ends of the inner wall portions are spaced from the first bottom or top wall. This ensures that at least in the region of these lower ends no contact of the first and second wall takes place.
- the distance can be chosen so large in this context or the second walls be held under a correspondingly large voltage between the other side walls, that also takes place approximately in the middle of the respective bottom or top walls no contact between the first and second wall.
- top wall is double-walled, since the corresponding container is arranged with its bottom wall usually on a substrate, in a bag or other transport container or the like, resulting in a certain heat insulation in the bottom wall results.
- the pivot side walls along their free end edges can be pivotally connected together to form a pivot line.
- the pivot line along the free end edges may have a mean cutting line.
- the cut line may be substantially undulating.
- the second bottom or top wall can be joined together from opposite inner wall sections protruding part walls formed.
- the partial walls are continuations of the corresponding inner wall sections and are in particular connected to their lower ends. There is then a connection of the partial walls with each other in such a way that a possible continuous air chamber between the first and second walls of each bottom and lid is formed.
- connection can take place, for example, in that the partial walls are connected to one another along their mutually facing end sections.
- Such a connection can be made by gluing.

- a trench or groove is formed, which itself forms an air chamber for thermal insulation and in particular prevents contact of the food directly with the horizontal step walls or the first wall of floor or lid.
- a particular side wall opposite the pivot side wall may be formed as a closing side wall, wherein the closing side wall of the lower container half is releasably connected in the closed position with the upper container half.
- sticking flanges connected by lateral ends of the pivot side walls and / or closing side walls may be projected to inner sides of the remaining side walls.
- the container can be made of a one-piece blank of paper, cardboard or the like.
- Such a one-piece blank for the production of the container has in particular a bottom and a lid portion which are interconnected via their respective Verschwenkoreswandabitese, said bottom and / or lid portion having at least one side wall portion with adjoining this inner side wall portion and additional second bottom or top wall portion ,
- the corresponding inner side wall portions are folded relative to outer side wall portions to the container interior and adjoining the inner side wall portions second wall portions of the bottom or lid then form together with the respective first floor or top wall portion of the corresponding double-walled wall of the container.
- the corresponding side walls of the inner and outer side wall section are double-walled.
- the corresponding second floor or top wall is not formed in one piece from the bottom or top wall section, there is also the possibility that this section protrudes from in each case two inner side wall sections of opposite side wall sections and correspondingly be connected together with their free ends facing each other when the container is produced.
- fold lines can be formed between the side wall section and the first bottom or top wall section. These allow a simple folding of the side wall portion upwards relative to the corresponding first bottom or top wall portion.
- fold lines and in particular also partially cut fold lines can be formed between it and the second bottom or top wall section and also corresponding to the outer side wall sections.
- Partially cut fold lines are conceivable in particular for the connection between the inner side wall section and in each case the second floor or cover wall section.
- the described in connection with the container step-like design of the end portions of the corresponding partial walls of the second bottom and top wall is thereby easily realized in the blank that at the free end of the second Bodenattertician cover wall portion a partial cutting line and a fold line parallel spaced from each other to form vertical and horizontal step wall are formed.
- the partial cut line is a fold line which is cut over part of the material thickness, but is not perforated or completely cut, for example. This is used in particular for folding down the vertical step wall in the direction of the first floor or top wall.
- the side wall portions may have an approximately wavy line along their line of intersection or pivot line, which is continued in both directions laterally by partially cut lines and then by fold lines.
- the partially cut lines may be formed as perforations.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a container having an upper and a lower container half, which are pivotally connected with each other for pivoting between closed and open positions, each container half a flat bottom, or top wall and of these substantially obliquely outwards and up or down to each other container half has extending side walls.
Such a container is known, for example, for the storage of a hamburger or the like.
Frequently, however, the entrainment of the container takes place to a more distant location or possibly even to the home of the consumer, so that the consumption takes place only after 10, 15 or more minutes after purchase. Although corresponding containers, in particular made of a foam plastic material, sometimes already have a certain degree of thermal insulation, such containers are more expensive and, in particular, less expensive to recycle, for example compared to containers made of paper, cardboard or the like.
The invention is therefore based on the object to improve a container of the type mentioned in that it has better thermal insulation and at the same time, in particular in containers made of paper, cardboard or the like increased stability.
This object is solved by the features of claim 1.
In particular, the invention was characterized in that at least in places the bottom and / or top wall is double-walled. This double walling results on the one hand better thermal insulation by air chambers formed and on the other hand increased stability due to the use of a first and second bottom and / or top wall. The adjacent to the pivot side walls side walls are also double-walled.
A second bottom or top wall extends between the two opposing double-walled side walls, the second bottom or top wall being connected to lower ends of interior wall sections of these opposing side walls which are folded over towards the container interior.
To ensure that contact of the first and second walls is largely avoided with food in the container and substantially the air chamber is completely formed between these first and second walls, the lower ends of the inner wall portions are spaced from the first bottom or top wall. This ensures that at least in the region of these lower ends no contact of the first and second wall takes place. In addition, the distance can be chosen so large in this context or the second walls be held under a correspondingly large voltage between the other side walls, that also takes place approximately in the middle of the respective bottom or top walls no contact between the first and second wall.
It may be sufficient in this context, if only the top wall is double-walled, since the corresponding container is arranged with its bottom wall usually on a substrate, in a bag or other transport container or the like, resulting in a certain heat insulation in the bottom wall results.
In order to realize the pivotability of the upper container half relative to the lower container half in a simple manner, the pivot side walls along their free end edges can be pivotally connected together to form a pivot line.
In order to facilitate opening and closing of the container in this context, the pivot line along the free end edges may have a mean cutting line. As a result, the resistance is reduced, in particular when opening the upper container half, without the thermal insulation of the container being significantly adversely affected by the corresponding cutting line.
To prevent straight cut edges from colliding and making it difficult to open the container halves, the cut line may be substantially undulating.
In order to be able to produce the container simply, the second bottom or top wall can be joined together from opposite inner wall sections protruding part walls formed. As a result, the partial walls are continuations of the corresponding inner wall sections and are in particular connected to their lower ends. There is then a connection of the partial walls with each other in such a way that a possible continuous air chamber between the first and second walls of each bottom and lid is formed.
Such a connection can take place, for example, in that the partial walls are connected to one another along their mutually facing end sections. Such a connection can be made by gluing.
In order to stiffen the respective second walls in this context, the end sections can be formed in a step-shaped manner from essentially vertical and horizontal step walls, wherein in particular the horizontal step walls are connected to one another by gluing or the like.
Again, there is the possibility that the partial walls are not in contact with the respective first wall of the floor or lid in the area of their interconnected step walls.
However, in order to further increase the rigidity of the container and to ensure the largest possible air space between the first and second walls of the bottom and lid, a corresponding horizontal step wall with the inside of the corresponding first floor or top wall in plant and especially there glued. The respective other horizontal step wall is then glued opposite the first wall of the bottom or lid with the other horizontal step wall, so that in this area substantially forms a three-layered structure, even with contact of the first and second wall in this area a sufficient thermal Insulation ensured. In particular, it should be noted in this context that the corresponding food is not in contact with the horizontal step wall, but by the interconnected horizontal step walls and the adjoining vertical step walls, a trench or groove is formed, which itself forms an air chamber for thermal insulation and in particular prevents contact of the food directly with the horizontal step walls or the first wall of floor or lid. In order to enable a closure of the container in a simple manner, a particular side wall opposite the pivot side wall may be formed as a closing side wall, wherein the closing side wall of the lower container half is releasably connected in the closed position with the upper container half.
In order to ensure a secure connection of the various side walls together and further to increase the stability of the container, sticking flanges connected by lateral ends of the pivot side walls and / or closing side walls may be projected to inner sides of the remaining side walls.
Another means for increasing the stability of the container can be seen therein, when at least the closing side wall of the upper and lower container half is concave inwardly curved.
In order not only to increase the stability further, but also to avoid, for example, deformation of the container made of paper, cardboard or the like by heat and steam, lateral ends of the outer wall and / or inner wall sections of the corresponding container halves with the inside of the closing and / or Verschwenkseitenwände connected adhesive flanges stand out.
To save material and also to simplify the manufacture of the container can be made of a one-piece blank of paper, cardboard or the like.
Such a one-piece blank for the production of the container has in particular a bottom and a lid portion which are interconnected via their respective Verschwenkseitenwandabschnitte, said bottom and / or lid portion having at least one side wall portion with adjoining this inner side wall portion and additional second bottom or top wall portion , When manufacturing the container, the corresponding inner side wall portions are folded relative to outer side wall portions to the container interior and adjoining the inner side wall portions second wall portions of the bottom or lid then form together with the respective first floor or top wall portion of the corresponding double-walled wall of the container. Furthermore the corresponding side walls of the inner and outer side wall section are double-walled.
If the corresponding second floor or top wall is not formed in one piece from the bottom or top wall section, there is also the possibility that this section protrudes from in each case two inner side wall sections of opposite side wall sections and correspondingly be connected together with their free ends facing each other when the container is produced.
In order to be able to produce the container in a simple manner from the blank, fold lines can be formed between the side wall section and the first bottom or top wall section. These allow a simple folding of the side wall portion upwards relative to the corresponding first bottom or top wall portion.
In order subsequently also to be able to fold the inner side wall section into the container interior in a simple manner, fold lines and in particular also partially cut fold lines can be formed between it and the second bottom or top wall section and also corresponding to the outer side wall sections.
Partially cut fold lines are conceivable in particular for the connection between the inner side wall section and in each case the second floor or cover wall section.
The described in connection with the container step-like design of the end portions of the corresponding partial walls of the second bottom and top wall is thereby easily realized in the blank that at the free end of the second Bodenbeziehungsweise cover wall portion a partial cutting line and a fold line parallel spaced from each other to form vertical and horizontal step wall are formed. The partial cut line is a fold line which is cut over part of the material thickness, but is not perforated or completely cut, for example. This is used in particular for folding down the vertical step wall in the direction of the first floor or top wall.
In order to ensure the pivotability of the two container halves in a simple manner when cutting, corresponding Verschwenkseitenabschnitte the side wall portions may have an approximately wavy line along their line of intersection or pivot line, which is continued in both directions laterally by partially cut lines and then by fold lines. The partially cut lines may be formed as perforations.
In order to provide corresponding connecting elements for the detachable closing of the container halves during cutting, a closure side wall section projecting from the first bottom wall section may each have a latching recess at its lateral ends. In this, a corresponding counter-element of the upper container half engage to realize the closed position of the container.
If an above-mentioned adhesive flange is adhesively bonded to an inner side of the closure side wall section during production of the container, and if this adhesive flange is glued to edge portions at lateral ends of the section, at least on one side of the outer and / or inner side wall section can a respective adhesive flange be provided, in particular with the latching recess protrude the Verschließseitenwandabschnitts matching Einrastausnehmung.
A corresponding counter element can be formed, in particular, in that the outer and / or inner side wall section of the lid section has a latching projection at one end, which engages in the corresponding latching recess when the container is closed.

The container according to the invention is characterized in particular by an increase in rigidity which avoids corresponding deformations during handling of the container with or without food. Serve in particular the double-walled floor and the corresponding part of the lid. At the same time, the double-walled areas also serve for improved thermal insulation, so that the corresponding foodstuff, such as hamburger, sandwich or the like, stays warm or possibly even cold for longer. The stiffening of the container results in particular in such a container made of paper, cardboard or the like, a lower deformation, which otherwise occurs with appropriate heat and steam.
