Au moins un échangeur de chaleur de gaz d'échappement (13), une soupape RGE (12) et un catalyseur à oxydation (11) présentant un revêtement catalytique d'oxydation sont disposés dans la conduite d'échappement (3) ou dans la conduite RGE (8). Selon l'invention, le catalyseur à oxydation (11) est disposé en amont de la soupape RGE (12) dans le sens d'écoulement des gaz d'échappement.
