Abstract
Description
Noise protection wall elements, as can be seen next to roads or railway lines, consist of load-bearing concrete with noise-damping facing shell or of a metal box (mostly aluminum) with noise-damping filling, in the outer skin holes for the sound entry are available. The outer skin of such metallic noise barrier elements is composed of two half-shells.
Noise protection wall elements with a metallic outer skin, especially those made of light metal such as aluminum, are significantly lighter and thus also easier to install (also manageable) than their counterparts made of concrete. However, they are much more expensive and have so far not been so resistant to weather as well as to birds and insects that clog the inside noise control material.
The object of the invention is to provide a construction for a noise barrier wall element with metallic outer skin, preferably made of a light metal such as aluminum, which is durable and inexpensive.
The object is solved by the features specified in the characterizing part of claim 1. The invention provides for this purpose, not to assemble the entire outer skin of two half-shells, but to use a low-to-manufacture, four-sided closed, one-piece extruded profile (1).
This extruded profile (1) has on the side facing the noise (3) recesses / holes, which make up more than 25% of this area. The recesses / holes may have many possible shapes, e.g. round, slotted or honeycomb-shaped (hexagonal).
Inside the box (1, 3, 4) is located, parallel and slightly spaced from the noise-facing outer wall (3), sound-absorbing material (2). Of the Distance to the metal outer skin (3, 4) allows the formation of a resonator space between sound absorbing material (2) and outer skin (3, 4) and prevents at the same time that birds with their beaks can pick out sound absorbing material through the recesses / holes.
The sound-absorbing material (2) is preferably dimensionally stable, so that it does not collapse in wet conditions (noise protection plates).
The sound-absorbing material (2) may, for example, be mineral wool, which is kept dimensionally stable by means of appropriate equipment (textile deposits or resinification / mineralization even in the wet (mineral wool boards).
The noise protection material (2) is laterally inserted into the extruded profile (1), preferably supported and guided by holding jaws (7), which are also already part of the one-piece extruded section (1).
After inserting the noise protection material (2), the side openings can be closed at the front and back with caps or plugs.
A noise barrier is assembled from the noise barrier elements according to the invention in the usual way. For this purpose, the noise protection wall elements according to the invention are stacked one above the other to the desired height of the noise protection wall.
To better composite the noise barrier elements with each other, these preferably have on their top and bottom a tongue / groove profile (5, 6). As a result, the individual elements between the noise protection wall posts are connected to a total wall and perform no independent movements against each other.
In order to allow drainage of rainwater, the noise barrier elements preferably have openings at their lowest points where water could otherwise accumulate.
The figures show a possible embodiment of the invention. The described noise protection wall element has in this case on its noise-facing side (3) recesses / holes and is closed on the side facing away from noise (4). A mineral wool plate (2) extends inside the extruded section (1) from a lower groove (5) to an upper spring (6). In the example shown, the mineral wool plate (2) also at the closed side (4) of the noise protection wall element towards a distance. This can also be omitted.
Die Haltebacken (7) sind Teil des Strangpreßprofils (1).Fig. 1 shows a cross section through an inventive noise barrier wall element with groove (5) and spring (6) for stacking. The noise protection plate (2) is held by holding jaws (7) at a distance from the outer walls (3, 4). The holding jaws (7) are part of the extruded profile (1).
Such a noise barrier member typically has a length corresponding to the distance of the posts of the noise barrier (several meters), a height of about 25 cm and a thickness of about 12 cm. Deviations by a factor of 2 are common.
If the stiffeners (9) of the extruded section (1) on the side of the perforated metal surface (3) omitted or sloping obliquely forward, the Absorbtionsvermögen the noise protection wall element improves slightly because it increases the sound incidence surface of the noise barrier element.
Fig. 2 shows in cross section a noise protection element of greater height, which has an intermediate bottom (8) to increase the rigidity. By inserting additional shelves (8), the height of the noise barrier elements can be further increased.
