Claims (7)
- Lock cylinder for functions performed on a vehicle
with a two-part housing (10) comprising an upper part (12) and a lower part (11), with mounted in the housing (10) a rotary-mounted cylinder core (20) exhibiting an axial key channel (22) for inserting an appropriate key, and with radially moving, spring-loaded tumblers which interact with the key,
and with attached to the housing (10) a screw fastener (30) which when needed enables attachment of the lock cylinder to a carriage (33) of the vehicle,
whereby the upper part (12) has a downward protruding tab (16) with a first breakthrough (17),
and whereby the upper part (12), the cylinder core (20) and the lower part (11) form a pre-assembled structural unit (15),
thereby characterized,
in that the lower part (11) has a counter tab (36) with a second breakthrough (37), and in the event of attachment the tab (16) and the counter tab (36) lie together, and the screw fastener (30) penetrates on the one hand a hole (35) on the carriage (33) of the vehicle and on the other both of the breakthroughs (17, 37) of the structural unit (15),
and that the screw fastener (30) for attaching the housing (10) to the carriage (33) is simultaneously the connector which fixes the upper part (12) of the housing to the lower part (11) of the housing. - Lock cylinder pursuant to Claim 1, thereby characterized in that provided between the upper part (12) of the housing and the lower part (11) of the housing are arrestors and counter-arrestors which temporarily keep the housing parts (11, 12) together.

in that arranged between an outlet of the cylinder core (20) and a dog (27) at the outlet (25) of the housing is a freewheel device (26),
in that with a normal turning of the cylinder core (20) by the key the freewheel device (26) transfers its torque to the dog (27),
in that in the event of overload, the freewheel device (26) will disengage the dog (27) from the cylinder core (20) if by means of a break-in tool the cylinder core (20) experiences a violent turn which exceeds a defined limit torque of the freewheel device (26).
