Definitions

  • the invention relates to a goods issue device for or in a vending machine.
  • the invention further relates to such a vending machine.
  • Vending machines which are often referred to in the relevant literature as a self-seller, may be formed in a variety of different configurations, such as cigarette vending machines, vending machines and the like. Although applicable in principle to any vending machine, the present invention and the problem underlying it will be explained below with reference to vending machines for dispensing bottles.
  • Vending machines have in the interior goods receiving devices for receiving the goods. These goods receiving devices are designed differently depending on how the individual goods are stored within the vending machine. While in the past the various goods were usually arranged bay by rail, one above the other in the interior and were not visible from the outside due to a mostly opaque front door, the goods should be easily visible from the outside in modern vending machines. Modern vending machines have glass front doors with large windows, via which the product should be presented to a potential buyer.
  • the goods are usually stored in goods oriented to the windshield goods compartments, the goods compartments are typically arranged side by side and / or one above the other.
  • the standing or hanging goods in the goods compartments are thus visible on the transparent windshield for a potential buyer, which has proven advantageous for technical reasons, since the alleged buyer can directly, so without obstructions, recognize which product he actually buys.
  • vending machines have a specially designed for the removal of a requested product removal device which is freely movable along the front of the various goods compartments in the X / Y direction and thus in the case of a goods request a respective department, which the requested goods contains, can specifically approach.
  • the requested goods will now be taken directly from this removal device, the requested goods only falls from a small amount first in the compartment of the removal device and not more or less over the entire height of the vending machine.
  • This removal device conveys the recorded so Goods after completion of the removal process to a specially provided goods output tray of the vending machine, which is typically arranged at waist level, so that the buyer can conveniently remove the requested goods without having to bend over. Damage to the goods is usually omitted here.
  • the goods output tray is usually accessible from the outside to remove the requested and paid for goods from the vending machine.
  • This accessibility of the goods issue compartment is in the case of a request for goods a mandatory part of the removal process of a product from the vending machine.
  • the goods issue tray is typically closed again from the inside, for example, by a panel after goods have been issued.
  • This panel is open when, for example, the product is removed from a removal device movable in the XY direction from this removal compartment and is transported via the opened panel into the goods issue compartment. Subsequently, the panel is closed again, so that the interior of the vending machine is not accessible from the outside.
  • such a construction is sometimes susceptible to misuse, for example, if this panel inside the housing of the vending machine, when it is just opened in the case of a goods issue, is blocked by an abuser, as a result, the interior of the vending machine on the goods output tray from the outside accessible, which should be avoided, however.
  • the abuser can then remove the arranged in the interior of the vending machine in appropriate goods compartments or other recording devices goods with more or less effort. This is to be avoided under all circumstances.
  • vending machines are often freely accessible to the public.
  • externally accessible goods outlets of the vending machines are sometimes used abusively as rubbish bins in which packaging and similar waste are deposited.
  • these goods output compartments are very often no longer empty, which on the one hand makes the vending machine look unsightly and on the other sometimes makes it difficult to dispense goods and in extreme cases, if the entire goods output tray is filled with trash, impossible.
  • the issued goods which is requested by a buyer, is polluted by the garbage, which then discourages a buyer very often from a purchase.
  • the risk of "Vermüllens" the goods issue compartment of a vending machine can be at least partially eliminated, for example, by a hinged flap or sliding panel attached from the outside to the goods output tray.
  • a hinged flap or sliding from the buyer aperture makes the removal process of the product, since he can no longer easily remove the goods with one hand.
  • the US 5,375,737 describes a goods dispensing device with a goods lock, which has an outer cylindrical shell and arranged in the outer cylindrical shell inner cylindrical shell.
  • a goods opening thereof is opened to an interior of the vending machine.
  • the outward opening, in the vicinity of the vending machine pointing goods opening the goods dispensing device is closed in this first operating state by the goods lock.
  • the inner shell pivots counterclockwise to close the directed toward the interior of the vending machine goods opening.
  • pressing the operating lever opened the outward goods opening the goods issue device.
  • the goods lock according to US 5,375,737 but can be opened by a user at any time.
  • the goods issue device is accessible from the outside. This often leads to the merchandise dispensing device is willfully contaminated or damaged, or also provides an attack surface for a breakup and removal of the goods.
  • this object is achieved by a goods issue device having the features of patent claim 1 and / or by a vending machine having the features of patent claim 18.
  • the idea underlying the present invention is to provide an output device of a vending machine with a lock function.
  • the dispensing device thus has a goods output tray, in which a rotatably arranged goods lock is housed.
  • This rotary goods lock contains an opening for passing the respective goods in the goods output tray.
  • the goods lock In the case of a removal of goods, the goods lock is brought with its opening to a corresponding opening of the housing to the interior of the vending machine. By means of a removal device, a goods transfer into the goods lock can take place respectively. After the goods have been handed over, the goods lock with its opening turns towards the opening of the goods issue compartment so that the buyer, who has requested and paid for this product, can also remove it from the goods compartment. Subsequently, the goods lock is rotated so that the goods output tray is inaccessible from the outside. In that condition the goods transfer of goods from the interior of the vending machine in the goods lock the goods output tray is also inaccessible from the outside.
  • the goods output tray is only accessible from the outside when a product is delivered to the outside.
  • the invention is thus characterized by a protected against misuse, very safe operation, which nonetheless offers the buyer a high level of comfort, since the risk of "Vermüllens" of the goods output compartment is virtually avoided and thus prevents the requested by a buyer Dirty goods through a garbage contained in the respective goods output tray.
  • the goods lock has a so-called shutter function (locking function).
  • This shutter function serves the purpose that the goods output tray and thus the goods lock in the third position, in which the goods issue tray should be inaccessible from the outside, can not be opened.
  • it can be effectively prevented here that an abusive user intentionally gets into the inside of the vending machine undesirably via the goods issue compartment or even only soiled or littered the item delivery compartment.
  • this shutter function also provides that thereby an air exchange between the interior of the vending machine, the goods output tray and the outside of the vending machine is prevented.
  • the goods lock according to the invention is preferably driven by a drive provided for this purpose.
  • the drive can be designed as an electric motor, for example as a stepping motor or DC motor.
  • the goods lock is rotated in each case in the desired positions, ie in a goods transfer position, in the goods issue position and finally in a safe, inaccessible from the outside position.
  • the goods transfer position denotes a position from which a product is transferred from the interior of the vending machine through corresponding openings in the housing in the goods lock.
  • the goods issue position denotes a position at which the goods can be taken out of the goods lock by a buyer.
  • an opening in the goods lock is at least not accessible from the outside and preferably also not from the interior of the vending machine.
  • the drive is rotatable in both directions.
  • a self-locking drive for driving the goods lock and / or for locking the same.
  • a first requirement that must be met for safety reasons by any externally accessible goods lock is anti-trap protection.
  • Such a jamming protection recognizes in the second position when a body part, for example the hand, enters the space between the goods lock and the housing of the vending machine. In this case, a closing movement of the goods lock is interrupted and thereby prevents this jammed body part is injured.
  • the goods lock for example can be turned abusive and goods out tray in the third position is accessible from the outside.
  • a detection device which detects the loading state of an output tray.
  • This detection device may comprise, for example, an ultrasonic transmitter and / or a corresponding receiving device which checks the loading state of the goods output tray by means of ultrasonic detection and in this way determines very reliably whether a product or another object is present in the goods output compartment.
  • the particular advantage of using such, based on ultrasound detection device is that even then a level can be detected, if the goods output tray contains no actual floor, but for example, only a grid, web or bracket.
  • this ultrasonic detection device is aligned with the functioning as a floor part of the goods output tray.
  • threshold values are used for the ultrasound detection device which, for example, only close to a goods output compartment occupied by a product if a corresponding signal is detected for a predetermined distance above the bottom of the output compartment, for example at a distance of 2-5 cm. In this way it can be prevented that, for example, a small amount of liquid in the region of the bottom of the goods delivery compartment or a packaging part present there may accidentally signal the vending machine that the goods issue compartment is occupied.
  • this detection device for the filling level of the goods issue compartment can be used to control the goods issue process. Only when it is detected, for example, by means of the recognition device that the goods issue tray is filled, a control signal can be issued, through which the goods lock rotates with its opening in the direction of the opening of the goods issue tray, so that the buyer can remove the requested goods. If there is no such control signal, for example if no goods are contained in the goods output compartment or the goods lock, then the goods lock is not rotated into the issue position.
  • the detection device can also be used to detect a removal of a product from the goods lock by a buyer. If such a removal of goods has been detected, then another control signal is issued, through which the goods lock is rotated with its opening in a safe, inaccessible from the outside position. The goods issue compartment or the goods lock is thus closed, whereby a misuse from the outside virtually no longer possible.
  • a switch may be provided, which is arranged for example in or below the bottom of the goods lock.
  • an adjustable threshold would be advantageous from the exceeding of the vending closes on a filled goods lock and thus on a goods issue process.
  • a worm gear is provided for the self-locking drive, which is coupled to the goods lock, for example via a belt tensioned around the goods lock.
  • This self-locking drive with worm gear and belt already has the above two functions.
  • an anti-pinch which causes the anti-trap by means of the belt and thus by frictional force.
  • a specially provided spring while the corresponding frictional force and thus the anti-trap protection is set.
  • the anti-trap protection can be dimensioned accordingly, that is, the set spring force determines from which counterforce the detection device closes on a jammed object and thus terminates a closing operation and thus prevents jamming.
  • the belt For the engagement and closing (manipulation protection) of the goods lock, the belt has a more or less short tooth area, which engages in the closed position in specially provided gear sections on the goods lock or coupled gears. In this closure position thus the goods lock is not coupled by friction with the belt, but by the gear portion. In this locked closed state of the goods lock or gear wheels coupled with them can thus no longer rotate from the outside, so that a manipulation of the goods lock and thus the goods issue compartment is not possible.
  • the belt for providing the above two functions thus has two distinct areas.
  • a first, smooth belt area which is at least in the case of a closing operation by static friction with the goods lock in conjunction.
  • a jammed object such as a hand, would create a counterforce that is at least greater than the static friction, which does not cause the belt to lock the goods take more, but go crazy.
  • This counterforce which is required by an object for this spin, can be set in an advantageous manner by a spring with which this belt is pretensioned defined. Depending on the spring force exerted by the spring can thus set a desired bias of this belt, which can be selectively dimensioned, from which force exerted by an object counterforce in the event of trapping the anti-trap is activated.
  • the belt has a short gear section.
  • This gear portion is located in the closed state of the goods lock in engagement with corresponding gears of the goods lock. Since these gears, which engage in the gear portion of the belt, are typically coupled or connected to a drive, such as an electric motor, thus, this gear can not rotate even by applying greater force exerted on the goods lock from the outside. This ensures a high level of manipulation security, without having to forego the anti-trap protection.
  • only a single drive for both above-mentioned functions that is, for the latching and closing function on the one hand and for the anti-trap protection on the other hand, provided.
  • This single drive drives the belt with the at least two belt sections either directly or via pulleys and coupling devices.
  • the belt is formed continuously with an internal toothing and encloses a non-toothed, preferably flat peripheral region of an associated section of the goods lock.
  • a frictional engagement between the belt and the associated contact surface of the goods lock is ensured.
  • the belt preferably engages with its toothing in a complementary toothing of an associated pulley for a power transmission or a drive of the goods lock a. It is obvious to a person skilled in the art that in this case the belt can also be designed to be smooth throughout, ie without toothing, so that a frictional force transmission is likewise ensured.
  • a lock of the goods lock is achieved according to this embodiment in that preferably a gear on the same drive shaft as the pulley is provided and engages the locking in an associated toothed segment, which is coupled to the goods lock.
  • the toothed segment is provided below the housing of the goods lock such that it can be coupled in a predetermined position of the goods lock with the gear of the pulley.
  • a translation gear is interposed between the gear of the pulley and the toothed segment of the goods lock.
  • the goods lock is cylindrical.
  • the goods lock is designed and dimensioned for receiving a single product.
  • the goods lock has continuous side walls and a floor.
  • these walls is preferably, but not necessarily provided a single opening, which serves to transfer goods from the interior of the vending machine in the goods lock.
  • the upper portion of the goods lock is closed.
  • the goods can be transferred from the interior of the vending machine in the goods lock also from the ceiling area, that is from above. In this case, an opening would not have to be provided in the region of the side walls of the goods lock.
  • the goods lock is made of plastic.
  • This material is particularly suitable for reasons of their high resistance and rust resistance particularly well for permanent use and in particular for the self-locking drive with anti-trap and snap-in protection.
  • a metallic part for example a sheet metal or steel part, which in particular ensures good protection against manipulation and destruction.
  • FIGS 1-4 show in perspective a merchandise dispenser of a vending machine for different states of a goods issue.
  • a goods issue device With reference to this Figures 1-4 First, the construction of such a goods issue device will be described before its functions are outlined.
  • the goods issue device 10 comprises a housing 11.
  • the housing 11 comprises a frontal housing part 12, in which an opening 13 is provided for a goods removal.

  • the frontal housing part 12 is formed as a door, so that upon appropriate unlocking of this door 12 from the outside access to the goods issue device, for example, for their cleaning or maintenance, is possible.
  • FIG. 1 also shows a removal device designed as a shopping cart 20.
  • the structure and operation of such a removal device 20 is known per se and should therefore not be described in detail below. It is only essential that the removal device 20 has an output lock, output flap 21 or the like, from which the goods product contained in the removal compartment 22 of the removal device 20 can reach the goods issue device 10 via the opening 16.
  • This removal device 20 is, for example, part of a removal device which can be moved in the interior of the vending machine along the front of the goods compartments in the XY direction, via which a particular goods compartment can be approached in order to remove a respective desired product from this compartment. Subsequently, this removal device 20 moves to the goods issue device 10 and transfers this in a removal compartment within the removal device 20 provided goods product to the goods issue device 10th

  • the gear belt portion 43b may be in engagement with a corresponding gear, thereby preventing a manipulative twisting of the goods lock 30.
  • FIG. 5 shows a frontal plan view of a vending machine according to the invention with a variety of invented goods compartments.
  • reference numeral 50 generally indicates a vending machine for dispensing bottles and cans of various shapes, sizes, shapes, and liquid capacities.
  • the vending machine 50 generally comprises an outer housing 51 or a cabinet and a front door 53 hinged typically to this housing 51 via hinges 52.
  • the front door 53 and the housing 51 together form an interior space 54 for the commodity products to be sold, the control and refrigeration functions vending machine 56 and other vending machine functions.
  • the front door 53 comprises a transparent glass or clear plastic disk 55, which, when the front door 53 is closed, for a clear view of the interior 54 of the vending machine 50 and thus on the commodities 45 housed therein, in the interior 54 of Vending machines 50 are kept in goods compartments arranged ensures.
  • a suitable control panel 56 is provided, which comprises product selection input devices and money and credit processing devices, which are well known as well as a coin return device 57.
  • a lock unit 58 is provided which allows the front door 53 to be safely opened and closed for maintenance, filling of the vending machine and the like.
  • the vending machine 50 further comprises the merchandise dispensing device 45 according to the invention, from which, as described above with reference to FIG Figures 1-4 has already been carried out, a requested goods product 45 can be removed from a buyer.
  • the vending machine 50 has a plurality of arrayions in the interior 54 arranged goods fan 59.
  • FIG. 6 shows the arrangement of these goods compartments 59 in the interior 54 of the vending machine 50th
  • the individual goods compartments 59 are here arranged in five different product lines 60 and eight different product compartment columns 61 side by side or one above the other.
  • the individual goods compartments 59 here each have the same size, which, however, is not absolutely necessary. As has already been described in detail above, it is advantageous if these goods compartments 59 are variably adjustable in their width and / or in their height.
  • a dedicated extraction device 20 is provided for the removal of the commodity products, which in FIG. 6 are not shown, from the various goods compartments 59 .
  • This removal device 20 can be moved variably and independently in Y-direction 63 and X-direction 64 and can thus be moved to any front side of a goods compartment 59. This is done via a not shown here, in the X / Y direction variable movable transport device to which the removal device 20 is attached.
  • This transport device may for example contain guide rails on which the removal device 20 in the Y-direction 63 and X-direction 64 is movable.
  • FIG. 7 shows a side view of the interior 54 of the vending machine 50 from FIG. 6 ,
  • the individual goods compartments 59 are not completely horizontal, that is horizontal, aligned. Rather, the goods compartments 59 slightly lowered towards the front door side. Alternatively, it would also be conceivable that the goods compartments 59 are aligned completely horizontally.
  • the present invention has been described in terms of a beverage vending machine for dispensing bottles and beverage cans, it is not limited thereto, but can be extended with appropriate modification to the output of any commodity products, such as cigarette packs, packaged candy products, sandwiches, miscellaneous items such as cameras, glasses and the same.
  • the special construction of a vending machine is merely one possible embodiment of such a vending machine, but the invention should not be limited to such a construction. It is essential here only that the individual goods compartments are arranged side by side and one above the other in layers and are oriented more or less vertically. It would also be conceivable in this context that, for example, a plurality of juxtaposed goods compartments and / or several superimposed goods compartments together form a merchandise compartment module in which the goods compartments contained there are fixedly coupled to each other and thus can always be pushed out together and also back into the interior of the vending machine can be pushed. In this case, according to the invention, it would only have to be determined in one of these goods compartments whether it is located in the first or in the second position.
  • a goods issue device 10 is not necessarily to the embodiment in the Figures 1-4 but, depending on how a vending machine 50 is constructed, it can be adapted in many ways to its construction.
