Definitions

  • the invention relates to a sports shoe in the form of a rigid rod consisting of a collar hinged to a shell surrounding the foot, provided with a locking device of the collar on the shell to lock the collar in a position inclined relative to the hull in a first sporting position, and to unlock the collar relative to the hull in a second position outside the sport, for example to facilitate the boot and walking.
  • the invention is specifically concerned with the locking device of the collar on the hull, the operation of which is linked to a remote locking and unlocking element, such as a lever linked to the closing and tightening means of the sports boot, for example.
  • the locking device of the collar on the shell rests on a rocker positioned on the collar and cooperating with an abutment of the hull, the operation of which is controlled by an opening buckle of the boot via a connecting cable.
  • the skier wishes to rest or walk, he unhooks the buckle of the boot, which has the effect of releasing the traction of the cable, which induces a change of position of the rocker under the effect of a spring, in order to unlock the collar and allow it to rotate to a position close to the vertical, suitable for walking, a rest position and the boot and release of the shoe.
  • a second solution takes the essential elements of the mechanism, that is to say a rocker linked by a cable to a loop of the shoe.
  • the rocker is actuated by a pull of the cable caused by the opening of the buckle of the shoe.
  • This principle makes it possible to guarantee a better operation of the unlocking of the collar.
  • This solution however has the disadvantage of a great complexity, since it relies on a first spring to compensate for the differences between the long stroke of the cable and the small amplitude of the movement of the rocker, then on a second spring for actuation of the rocker.
  • a general object of the present invention is a sports shoe with locking / unlocking the collar on the hull does not have the disadvantages of the prior art.
  • a first object of the present invention consists of a sports shoe with a locking / unlocking device whose operation is efficient, especially in the unlocking phase of the collar.
  • a second object of the present invention consists of a sports shoe with a locking / unlocking device whose mechanism is simple, compact and inexpensive.
  • the invention is based on a solution involving traction of the cable for the implementation of the unlocking of the collar, combined with a control element of this unlocking operating a cam surface.
  • the invention will be described in application with a ski boot. It could, however, apply to any sports shoe rigid rod, ie a rod comprising a collar and a shell substantially in a material at least as rigid as a polyurethane hardness of 40 shD.
  • the collar 2 is connected to the shell 1 by a rear locking / unlocking device positioned in a housing 3 provided between the two elements.
  • the locking / unlocking device rests on a rocker 4 mounted to rotate about an axis 5 integral with the collar and having a lower free end 6 which can cooperate with a stop 7 of the shell 1.
  • the device further comprises a part rotating 8 drum-type, movably mounted on the collar, in the form of a disk whose surface opposite to that opposite with the inner surface 14 of the collar has an irregular relief to form a cam surface 9, which cooperates with the rocker 4.
  • This drum 8 comprises a hollow annular portion 11 for receiving a cable 10 on its circumference.
  • the cable 10 has a first end connected to a locking and unlocking member, which corresponds to the top closure and clamping loop 80 of the collar 2, and a second end connected to the drum 8 subjected to a return spring 12 fixed to the collar 2 at a point 13.
  • This return spring 12 acts on the drum 8 via a direct connection with the end of the cable 10.
  • a horn spring positioned within the drum could perform a function of equivalent reminder.
  • This device is fixed on the inner surface 14 of the collar 2, via at least one supporting and reinforcing plate 15 comprising arms 16 between which is mounted the substantially horizontal axis 5 and parallel to the wall 14 of the This plate 15 further comprises a housing for the axis of rotation perpendicular to the wall 14 of the drum 8.
  • a spring 17 positioned at the axis 5 acts on the latch 4 to tend to its rotation in the direction tending to move it away from the shell 1, thus towards the unlocking position of the collar 2.
  • the figure 1 illustrates the locking position of the collar 2, which occupies an optimal inclined position for the practice of skiing with respect to the shell 1.
  • the cable 10 is released and kept taut, its end occupying a high position in the space 3 at the position of the spring 12.
  • At this position of the cable 10 corresponds a position of the drum 8 in which the thickest portion 18 of its cam surface 9 abuts against the latch 4 so as to maintain its end 6 by support on the abutment 7 of the hull.
  • the collar 2 can not straighten and therefore remains well in the locked inclined position, necessary for the practice of skiing.
  • the figures 4 and 5 illustrate the unlocked configuration of the collar 2.
  • the skier pulls on the cable which causes the rotation of the drum 8 by a half-turn to position the part of the thicker 18 of the cam surface 9 downwards, while the thinner surface 19 is positioned in the upper part, which releases the latch 4 which deviates from the shell 1 under the effect of the return spring 17 by keeping in contact with the cam surface 9 of the drum 8.
  • the geometry of the cam surface 9 of the drum 8 is such that it allows the end 6 of the rocker 4 to escape the stop 7 of the shell 1 in this configuration.
  • there is unlocking collar 2 which is free to turn back relative to the hull, to reach a near vertical position as illustrated in FIG. figure 5 . This last position facilitates the walking as well as the boot and the heaving of the shoe.
  • the diameter of the drum 8 is precisely chosen so that the stroke of the cable 10 during closure or opening of the buckle 80 of the shoe induces its rotation by a half-turn.
  • the diameter of the drum 8 combined with the geometry of its cam surface 9 makes it very easy to transform the long run of the cable 10 into a small movement of the rocker 4.
  • the closure of the buckle of the shoe allows conversely to push back the rocker 4 and find the locking position of the figure 1 as soon as the collar is repositioned in an inclined position.
  • the Figures 6 to 10 illustrate a second embodiment of the invention. It rests on a rocker 24 mounted to move elastically on an axis 25 mounted on the rear surface of the shell 21, by means of a support 35 comprising arms 36, supports of the shaft 25. A spring blade 37 resting on this rocker 24 allows to bring it back elastically into its position. rest illustrated on the figure 6 .
  • the collar 22 always comprises a drum 28 rotatably mounted on its inner surface 34 and comprising a housing 31 on its circumference to collect a cable 30 connected on the one hand to the drum 28 and to a return spring 32 to implement the function return of the drum, this spring being fixed to the collar 22 at a point 33, and secondly to a not shown locking and unlocking member which may be an opening and locking buckle of the boot.
  • the figure 6 illustrates the locking position, in which the annular surface of a thick portion 38 of the cam surface 29 of the drum 28 abuts the upper end of the rocker 24, thus preventing any straightening of the collar 22.
  • the skier detaches its loop, it pulls on the cable 30 which induces the rotation of a half-turn of the drum 28, the thinner cam surface 39 is then found in front of the stop 24.
  • This cam surface 29 is such that in this second configuration, illustrated on the figures 9 and 10 it escapes any contact with the abutment 24, thus releasing the collar 22 which can straighten vertically to the position illustrated in FIG. figure 10 .
  • FIGS. 11 to 15 illustrate a third embodiment of the invention, which is based on a rocker 44 mounted to rotate about an axis 45 on the shell 41. It is oriented upwards so that its end 46 cooperates with a stop 47 formed by a bend of a support plate 55 fixed on the inner surface 54 of the collar 42. This plate 55 has a longitudinal opening 51 forming a slide for a slider 48, connected to the end of the cable 50. Finally, the movement of the slider 48 is thus directly connected to that of the cable, a return spring 52 positioned helically around the cable 50 in its end portion and placed between an abutment 53 of the collar 42 and the slider 48 allowing its return during loosening of the cable.
  • the latch 44 has a cam surface 49, in a recessed shape with a initial surface shallow 59 and a final surface 58 deeper, to cooperate with the slider 48.
  • the figure 11 illustrates the locking position in which the cable 50 is released. In this relaxed position, its end reaches its lowest position, guaranteed by the spring 52 bearing or not on its upper stop 53. This position accompanies a positioning of the slider 48 at the lowest, resting on the deepest surface 58 of the cam surface 49 of the rocker 44.
  • the geometry of the slider 48 and the cam surface 49 of the rocker are chosen so that in this position, the upper end 46 of the rocker comes into contact with the stop 47 of the collar 42, preventing any rotation of the latter tending to the straighten. This position is ensured and maintained by the return spring 57 of the rocker 44.
  • the cam surface 49 of the flip-flop 44 makes it possible to transform the long run of the cable 50 into a small rotation of the flip-flop 44.
  • FIGS. 16 to 20 illustrate a fourth embodiment of the invention.
  • a rocker 64 is rotatably mounted about an axis 65 fixed on two arms 76 of a support 75 positioned on the inner surface 74 of the collar 62.
  • the rocker 64 is in the form of a body hollow in which is housed a slider 68 connected to the end of the cable 70, and a spring 72 bearing on the slider 68 on the one hand and on a stop 73 of the latch at its axis of rotation 65
  • a spring 77 acts permanently on the flip-flop 64 to tend to its rotation towards the shell 61, in order to tend to the cooperation of the end of the rocker 66 with a stop 67 of the shell 61.
  • one of the arms 76 of the support 75 of the rocker forms a surface cam 69 for cooperation with the cursor 68.
  • the figure 16 illustrates the locking position in which the cable 70 is released, inducing a position of the slider 68 towards the end 66 of the latch 64 under the effect of the spring 72.
  • the spring 77 maintains the end 66 of the rocker 64 in support on the stop 67 of the shell 61, which prevents any rotation of the collar 62 which maintains its locked inclined position.
  • the collar 62 is then free to rotate relative to the shell 61 to occupy a raised position illustrated on the figure 20 . Conversely, closing the buckle of the shoe will release the cable 70 and the cursor will then resume its locking position, illustrated on the figure 16 under the effect of the compression spring 72.
  • the figure 21 represents a variant of the fourth embodiment in which the different elements remain the same and the identical operation, their positioning on the collar and the hull however being reversed.
  • the cable can be fixed by any means to a locking and unlocking member, of the lever type for example.
  • this member may advantageously be confused with one of the closure loops of the shoe, which may be the upper loop 80 at the tibia or another loop 81 at the instep for example , so that the opening of the closure device of the rod causes traction of the cable.
  • this member may be separate from the loop and independent or with operation not completely independent but for example synchronized with the movement of the loop.
