Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Regelung des Abluftvolumenstromes (1) aus einem Garraum (2) eines Backofens (3), wobei der Abluftvolumenstrom (1) durch ein Gebläse (4) an die Umgebung abgegeben wird, dessen Drehzahl (5) in Abhängigkeit einer durch einen Gassensor (6) gemessenen Gaskonzentration im Garraum (2) des Backofens (3) gesteuert wird. Dabei wird in einem ersten Zeitintervall die Gaskonzentration gemessen und in einer elektrischen Steuerung (7) des Backofens (3) daraus eine Drehzahl (5) für das Gebläse (4) ermittelt, und in einem darauf folgenden zweiten Zeitintervall wird die so ermittelte Drehzahl (5) des Gebläses (2) im Wesentlichen konstant gehalten, wobei die beiden Zeitintervalle während des Garvorgangs alternierend wiederholt werden und die Dauer des zweiten Zeitintervalls größer als die des ersten Zeitintervalls ist.
