Claims (6)

  1. Bras de support d'électrodes pour des fours à arc, avec un logement d'électrodes qui est prévu à son extrémité avant et qui comporte un profilé creux (2) formé par au moins une plaque d'acier (6, 10) plaquée en cuivre ou en aluminium,
    caractérisé en ce que le profilé creux (2) présente des coins arrondis et
    en ce que les plaques d'acier plaquées (6, 10) forment sur leur face intérieure un conduit de refroidissement (4) pour un agent de refroidissement qui refroidit l'extrémité avant du bras de support et qui est dévié dans le bras de support.
  2. Bras d'électrodes selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les coins arrondis présentent un rapport du rayon de courbure intérieur (R) sur l'épaisseur de paroi (d) de la plaque d'acier plaquée (6, 10) d'au moins 1,25, de préférence de 2,25.
  3. Bras de support d'électrodes selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que deux conduits de refroidissement (4) sont formés par une cloison étanche (6) qui traverse le profilé creux.
  4. Bras de support d'électrodes selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le profilé creux (2) est formé par deux demi-profilés (12) identiques composés de plaques en acier plaquées en cuivre ou en aluminium (6, 10).
  5. Bras de support d'électrodes selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que les demi-profilés (12) sont soudés ensemble à la hauteur de la cloison étanche (8).
