Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a burner cleaning device for cleaning burners, in particular for cleaning gas turbine burners with at least one fuel nozzle and at least one fuel supply line.
  • a burner cleaning device is out EP 1 452 802 known.
  • gas turbine burners are also provided with annular spaces, which direct the fuel oil from a central fuel oil supply line to ring around a central burner part arranged around fuel nozzles.
  • a cleaning of the inside arranged in the burner annulus is not possible with the mentioned means. If it is not possible to eliminate the operating limitations of the burner by piercing the nozzles, the nozzles must be removed. Only then can the annulus - and only partially - be cleaned. Further cleaning requires the complete disassembly of the burner.
  • flushing fluid By means of the pump flushing fluid can be introduced via the flushing head under pressure through the fuel nozzle in the fuel system, which causes flushing of the fuel system.
  • the purge fluid may then exit the fuel supply system via the fuel supply line.
  • the burner cleaning device enables the cleaning of the entire fuel supply system by pressure flushing by means of the rinsing liquid. Cleaning by hand is no longer necessary.
  • internal portions of the fuel supply system such as annuli, mitge selfish. A disassembly of the burner for complete cleaning is therefore no longer mandatory. Since rinsing residues are entrained by the rinsing liquid during rinsing and therefore do not remain in the fuel supply system, blow-out after cleaning can be largely eliminated.
  • the device according to the invention is particularly suitable for cleaning fuel oil supply systems of gas turbine burners.
  • the flushing head is equipped with at least one seal surrounding the flushing head opening.
  • the seal is configured and arranged on the flushing head so that it surrounds the nozzle opening when mounted on the fuel nozzle flushing head. The sealing effect can be further increased if the flushing head has a clamping device, with which it can be braced against the nozzle opening.
  • a filter is connected in the flow path formed by the pump, the flushing head and the fluid line.
  • the filter allows filtering out of non-dissolvable debris entrained by the flushing fluid.
  • the filtered flushing fluid can then be used again for another rinse, which allows in particular in a closed rinse cycle.
  • the burner cleaning device may further comprise a connected in the flow path tank, the serves as a buffer for flushing fluid.
  • the tank can serve as flushing fluid reservoir.
  • the burner cleaning device further comprises a valve connected in the flow path.
  • This valve allows shut off of the flow path if required. If it has at least two valve positions releasing the flow path, wherein in one releasing valve position the flow direction of the flushing fluid is reversed by the flushing head and / or by the fluid line with respect to the flow direction in the other releasing valve position, by reversing the valve, a reversal of the flow direction of the Flushing fluids are caused by the fuel supply system of the burner. This makes it possible, for example, to remove dirt residues that are too large for the passage through the nozzle opening, through the fuel supply line.
  • this also advantageously has a section which is always flowed through in the same direction.
  • the filter is then arranged so that contamination residues do not re-enter the fuel supply system when the flow direction is reversed.
  • Fig. 1 shows in a schematic sectional view of a gas turbine burner with attached elements of a burner cleaning device.
  • Fig. 2 shows a hydraulic circuit for the burner cleaning device with a valve in a first valve position.
  • Fig. 3 shows the hydraulic plan Fig. 2 in a second valve position.
  • Fig. 4 shows the hydraulic plan Fig. 2 in a third valve position.
  • Fig. 1 shows a gas turbine combustor 1, on which a flushing head 3 and a fluid line 5 of a burner cleaning device according to the invention are arranged.
  • the burner 1, the flushing head 3 and the fluid line 5 are shown schematically in the figure in a section along the burner longitudinal axis A.
  • the burner 1 comprises a main burner system with an annular air supply channel 9 and a fuel supply system 11 with fuel nozzles 13, which open into the air supply channel 9.
  • the fuel is introduced via a fuel supply line 15 of the fuel supply system 11 into an annular space 17, which annularly surrounds the burner longitudinal axis A, from where it is finally distributed to the fuel nozzles 13.
  • fuels are basically all combustible gases or liquids in question, but especially fuel oil.
  • the burner is designed as a so-called premix burner, in which the fuel is injected prior to combustion in an air stream flowing in through the air supply channel 9.
  • premix burner in which the fuel is injected prior to combustion in an air stream flowing in through the air supply channel 9.
  • contaminations and coking occur in the entire fuel supply system 11, which in particular can lead to clogging of the nozzle openings.
  • the burner comprises, in addition to the main burner system 7, a further burner system which is arranged in the interior 19 of the main burner system 7.
  • the further burner system is not shown in the figure. It may, for example, comprise a pilot burner system.
  • the flushing head 3 is rotationally symmetrical in the present exemplary embodiment and comprises a cylinder jacket-shaped or truncated cone-shaped wall 21, through the interior of which flushing fluid channels 23 are led to an end face 25 of the wall 21.
  • the end face 25 defines an opening in the end face of the hollow cylinder or truncated cone formed by the wall 21.
  • an end wall 26 connects, through which the channels 23 are continued to a central region 27 of the end wall 26.
  • a flushing fluid line 29 opens into the central region 27. Via the flushing fluid line 29, flushing fluid 3 can be supplied to the flushing head or flushing fluid can be discharged from the flushing head 3.
  • the flushing head 3 is designed such that it can be inserted through the outlet opening 31 of the burner 1 as far as the fuel nozzles 13 into the air supply channel 9.
  • the geometry of the wall 21 is selected so that the end face 25 can be placed on the annular inner of the air supply channel 9 around the burner longitudinal axis A arranged around fuel nozzles 13.
  • Spülfluidaustrittsö Anlagenen 33 are provided which are arranged in the end face 25 that they are aligned with introduced into the burner 1 rinsing head 3 with the fuel nozzles 13.
  • seals 35 are arranged which seal the air supply channel 9 against flushing fluid flowing through the openings 33 and the nozzles 13.
  • compression springs 36 act as clamping elements between the flushing head 3 and the wall of the air supply channel 9.
  • Alternative embodiments of the clamping elements eg. As a throw to the burner 1, as a clamping lever, etc. are also possible.
  • Flushing fluid can then be flushed into the fuel system 11 via the flushing head 3 and the fluid line 29. Through the annular space 17 and the fuel supply line 15, the flushing fluid can then emerge again from the fuel supply system 11. In this way, by means of the flushing head 3 rinsing the entire fuel supply system possible.
  • the purge fluid flowing through the fuel supply system 11 flushes contaminants or coking in the fuel supply system 11, which occur in particular in the region of the fuel nozzles 13 and are disturbing, out of the fuel supply system.
  • the flushing fluid emerging from the fuel supply system 11 via the fuel supply line 15 can be collected. In particular, demineralized water or a solvent can be used as flushing fluid.
  • the burner cleaning device also comprises an in Fig. 1 not shown pump 37 (see. Figures 2-4 ), with the aid of which the flushing fluid is pumped through the fuel supply system 11.
  • a closed flushing circuit is used to the fuel supply line 15, a fluid line 5 is connected, which directs the flushing fluid leaving the fuel supply system 11 to a filter 39, where the contaminants entrained by the flushing fluid are filtered out. After flowing through the filter, the flushing fluid is collected in a tank, from where it is returned to the flushing head 3 by means of the pump.
  • the rinse cycle is in the form of a hydraulic plan in the Figures 2-4 shown.
  • the pump 37, the filter 39, the tank 41 and a valve 43 are shown.
  • the valve 43 is formed in the present embodiment as a hand-operated 4/3 way valve with locking center position. However, it can also be designed as an electrically operated valve, for example as a solenoid valve.
  • the fluid circuit has a first section 45 which comprises the flushing head 3, the flushing fluid line 29 leading to the flushing head 3, the fluid line 5 and the fuel supply system 11 of the burner 1.
  • it has a second section 47, which comprises the pump 37, the filter 39, the tank 41 and these elements interconnecting fluid lines 49. Between the first portion 45 and the second portion 47, the 4/3 way valve with locking center position 43 is arranged.
  • valve 43 is switched over a valve position in which the fluid circuit is interrupted (see Fig. 3 ), transferred to a valve position in which the flow conditions in the first section 45 relative to the in Fig. 2 shown valve position are reversed.
  • the flow conditions in the second section 47 remain unchanged.
  • the second section 47 of the flushing circuit is always flowed through in the same direction, can be prevented that contaminants that were filtered out of the filter when flowing in one direction, when flowing in the other direction back into the fuel supply system be registered.
  • the pump 37 which may be designed as a pressure or suction pump, only needs to be able to pump in one direction.
  • the burner cleaning device can be operated with an open rinse path instead of a closed rinse cycle.
  • either flushing fluid can be supplied via the flushing head 3 to the fuel supply system 11, which then exits through the fuel supply line 15 from the fuel supply system 11 and is disposed of.
  • the flushing fluid then exits after passing through the fuel supply system 11 from the fuel nozzles 13 and can be collected after discharge and disposed of.
  • a closed rinse cycle is advantageous in terms of purge fluid consumption and environmental.
  • all Spülfluidkanäle 23 were arranged in a common wall 21, which is adapted to the burner 1 to be cleaned.
  • the flushing head it is also possible to equip the flushing head with a number of supply lines, for example. In the form of hoses or pipes, which are individually placed on the fuel nozzles 13. This has the advantage that the flushing head can be operated in conjunction with different burners, which differ from each other, for example, in the number or placement of the fuel nozzles.
  • the embodiment described with the specially adapted to the burner design of the flushing head 3 has the advantage that the cleaning of the burner can be automated because no manual placement of flushing tubing on the fuel nozzles 13 is necessary.
  • the costly cleaning of the burner can be omitted by hand.
  • the burner cleaning device makes it possible to largely automate the cleaning of the burner. Thereby can save time and money during burner cleaning.
