Definitions
- the invention relates to a transport and storage box, in particular made of sheet steel.
- a made of metal transport and storage box is for example from the DE 196 41 686 C2 known.
- This transport and storage box has in the usual way a rectangular bottom and two side and transverse walls, which are bounded at the upper edge of a peripheral frame, on.
- the bottom of the container has the shape of a so-called waffle pattern, which also forms a stacking stage.
- the bottom of the box for example, made by deep drawing after the DE 196 41 686 C2 thus forms individual wells in which liquid can accumulate.
- the invention has for its object to provide a transport and storage box in which no liquid can accumulate and is particularly suitable to receive parts during their cleaning in a car wash.
- a transport and storage box with the features of claim 1.
- This preferably made of sheet metal, in particular of stainless steel or galvanized sheet steel, produced box is substantially cuboid with a bottom, two side walls and two compared to the side walls shorter transverse walls, wherein the bottom, the side walls and the transverse walls are collectively referred to as wall surfaces.
- At the bottom of a stacking edge is formed; on the upper edge of the side walls and the transverse walls is a circumferential frame.
- All wall surfaces are at least partially broken, in particular in the form of a hole pattern.
- the side and transverse walls each have a lower, openwork, and an upper, preferably non-perforated area adjacent to the frame.
- the upper portions of the side and transverse walls are inclined relative to the lower portions, ie close to the bottom at an acute angle, wherein the interior of the transport and storage box tapers due to this inclination upwards.
- the skew angle measured in each case between the upper region of the lateral or transverse wall and a plane perpendicular to the bottom is greater in the case of the side walls than in the transverse walls.
- the upper portions of the side walls are flattened than the upper portions of the transverse walls.
- each wall surface is preferably more than 10%. All surfaces are designed so that no liquid can accumulate in the transport and storage box.
- the inner surfaces are smooth and designed without undercuts, so that the likelihood of catching parts in the transport and storage box is minimized. Closed subregions of wall surfaces, in particular the upper, inclined region of the transverse walls, are suitable for permanently affixing identification elements, for example, for riveting bar code labels.
- the skew angle of the upper portion of the sidewall is between 12 ° and 30 ° and the skew angle of the upper portion of the transverse wall is between 6 ° and 18 °.
- the height of the upper, inclined region of the side and transverse walls is preferably at least 10% and max. 35% of the total height of the transport and storage box. With these angular and dimensional ratios, a particularly high stability of the transport and storage box is achieved with good space utilization.
- the frame which circulates on the upper edge of the lateral and transverse walls forms a collar running downwards towards the outside.
- This collar which is also suitable for attacking a lifting device, is preferably at an angle of at least 55 ° and max. Relative to the lower, perforated region of the lateral or transverse walls. 78 ° inclined.
- the one between the upper, inclined angle range of the side or transverse wall and the collar included angle is preferably at least 45 ° and max. 74 °.
- the angle which the collar encloses with a plane parallel to the bottom is at least 1.5 times and at most 3 times the skew angle of the upper region of the transverse wall.
- the collar in one piece from the upper, inclined region of the side or transverse wall, preferably in one piece with the entire side or transverse wall.
- the material from which the collar is made is preferably reinforced on the outside by means of a downwardly bent fold, wherein the reinforced, compared to the rest of the collar a double wall thickness having region of the collar is preferably at least a third, in particular at least half of Width of the collar extends.
- recessed grips or handles can be arranged on the transverse walls of the transport and storage box.
- a locking device is provided, which is suitable for fixing the handle in abutting the transverse wall position, that is in a vertical position.
- the locking device can be realized in a simple manner by a holding plate connected to the transverse wall or integrally formed therewith, which cooperates with a locking contour formed on the pivot axis of the handle.
- the handle is preferably shaped so as to be aligned in a vertical position with the outer edge of the collar. That is, when abutting the transport and storage box on a vertical surface of the transport and storage box comes simultaneously with the frame and with the handle with the vertical surface in contact.
- knob-shaped elevations which form stop surfaces, which are also aligned with the outer edge of the frame.
- a collection is arranged laterally of the handle. This serves in particular to prevent individual similar transport and storage boxes that abut each other during transport on a conveyor, upright by the forces acting between the boxes.
- the transport and storage box preferably has basic dimensions of 400 mm x 300 mm or hereby compatible basic dimensions.
- the transport and storage box is adapted to the Euro format 800 mm x 1200 mm.
- the stacking edge is preferably at least 15 mm from the side or transverse wall spaced and formed by a circumferential, a height of at least 9 mm having rail.
- the transport and storage box is thus suitable for the longitudinal and transverse transport on roller conveyors and compatible with common boxes and lids, also made of plastic.
- Such boxes are called, up to a base of 400 mm x 600 mm, as KLT (small load carrier). Compatibility exists in particular to KLT systems according to the GALIA standard or according to VDA recommendation 4500 (5th edition, February 2003).
- Figures 1 to 4 show a transport and storage box 1, which is suitable as part of a KLT system, for example, to receive metal parts and be promoted including these metal parts by a car wash.
- the transport and storage box 1 is made of stainless steel and resistant to acids and alkalis as well as temperature-resistant up to 400 ° C.
- a bottom 2, side walls 3 and transverse walls 4 are collectively referred to as wall surfaces that limit the interior of the transport and storage box 1.
- a stacking edge 5 is formed, which ensures the stackability of several similar transport and storage boxes 1 together with a circulating on the top of the side walls 3 and 4 transverse walls frame.
- the stack edge 5, which is formed by a circumferential rail 7, also has the advantage that located in the transport and storage box 1 parts are always lifted off the surface on which the transport and storage box 1 is parked. This is particularly relevant in the present case, since the bottom 2 as well as the side walls 3 and the transverse walls 4 in the form of a hole pattern 8 is broken.
- the bottom 2 is pierced in the region inside the rail 7, while it is formed in the region outside the rail 7, ie in the side walls 3 and the transverse walls 4 adjacent area, as a closed surface.
- Each side wall 3 and transverse wall 4 has a lower, perpendicular to the bottom 2 arranged region 9, 10, which is broken through, and a upper, adjacent to the frame 6 region 11, 12, which is inclined relative to the lower region 9, 10 and not broken.
- the skew angle ⁇ of the upper portion 11 of the side walls 3 and the skew angle ⁇ of the upper portion 12 of the transverse walls 4 are selected such that the interior of the transport and storage box 1 tapers towards the frame 6.
- the skew angle ⁇ of the upper portion 12 of the transverse wall 4 is less than the skew angle ⁇ of the upper portion 11 of the side wall 3, that is, the upper portions 12 of the transverse walls 4 are steeper than the upper portions 11 of the side walls 3.
- the transport and storage box 1 has a width B of 300 mm and a length L of 400 mm as basic dimensions.
- the total height designated H of the transport and storage box 1 is composed of a first part height h 1 , which indicates the vertical extent of the lower, open areas 9, 10 of the side walls 3 and transverse walls 4, and a second part height h 2 , which the indicates vertical extent of the upper regions 11, 12 including the frame 6.
- the first part height h 1 includes the 9 mm rail height H s of the rail 7.
- the inclined area 12 of the transverse wall 4 offers, for example, space for the attachment of a bar code marking.
- a hinged bracket 17 is fastened to the wall surface 4 in a pivotable manner by means of a retaining plate 18 fastened to the transverse wall 4.
- the retaining plate 18 forms in cross section (Fig. 5) approximately rectangular receiving openings 19, in which Strap end pieces 20 of the bracket 17 engage. Notwithstanding the rectangular shape is in a portion of the receiving opening 19, a locking contour 21 in the form of an embossment is present, which cooperates with a latching contour 22 on the temple end piece 20.
- the thus formed in the region of the pivot axis S of the bracket 17 locking device 24 is adapted to fix the bracket 17 in the vertical, at the lower portion 10 of the transverse wall 4 adjacent position.
- bracket 17, the abutment surfaces 16 and the frame 6 are tangent to an imaginary plane E1 (see Fig. 1), which is arranged orthogonal to the bottom 2 and parallel to the lower portion 10 of the transverse wall 4.
- E1 imaginary plane
- the pivot angle of the bracket 17 is limited by two laterally above the receiving openings 19 arranged stop bracket 23 to about 90 °.
- the frame 6 is integrally formed in the form of an outside of the transport and storage box 1 obliquely downwardly extending collar.
- the sheet, from which it is formed bent down to a fold, so that the wall thickness of the collar 6 is doubled in this designated as gain region 25 area.
- the reinforcing region 25 extends over slightly more than half of the width of the collar 6 designated b.
- the collar 6 With the lower, vertical region 10 of the transverse wall 4, the collar 6 encloses an angle ⁇ .
- the skew angle ⁇ of the collar 6 is identical to the side walls 3 and to the transverse walls 4.
- An attaching to the collar 6, not shown lifting device is thus suitable to raise the transport and storage box 1 either on the side walls 3 or on the transverse walls 4.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a transport and storage box, in particular made of sheet steel.

The invention has for its object to provide a transport and storage box in which no liquid can accumulate and is particularly suitable to receive parts during their cleaning in a car wash.
This object is achieved by a transport and storage box with the features of claim 1. This preferably made of sheet metal, in particular of stainless steel or galvanized sheet steel, produced box is substantially cuboid with a bottom, two side walls and two compared to the side walls shorter transverse walls, wherein the bottom, the side walls and the transverse walls are collectively referred to as wall surfaces. At the bottom of a stacking edge is formed; on the upper edge of the side walls and the transverse walls is a circumferential frame. Thus, several similar transport and storage boxes can be stacked. All wall surfaces are at least partially broken, in particular in the form of a hole pattern. The side and transverse walls each have a lower, openwork, and an upper, preferably non-perforated area adjacent to the frame. The upper portions of the side and transverse walls are inclined relative to the lower portions, ie close to the bottom at an acute angle, wherein the interior of the transport and storage box tapers due to this inclination upwards. The skew angle measured in each case between the upper region of the lateral or transverse wall and a plane perpendicular to the bottom is greater in the case of the side walls than in the transverse walls. In other words, the upper portions of the side walls are flattened than the upper portions of the transverse walls. This has the advantage that at uniform width of the circumferential Frame on the transverse walls - in contrast to the side walls - additional functional elements such as handles or label holder can be attached without these protrude beyond the frame. The functional elements and the frame are thus arranged so that they affect a common vertical plane, which is parallel to the lower region of the transverse wall.
In order to allow a rapid drainage of liquid from the transport and storage box, the proportion of open areas on each wall surface is preferably more than 10%. All surfaces are designed so that no liquid can accumulate in the transport and storage box. The inner surfaces are smooth and designed without undercuts, so that the likelihood of catching parts in the transport and storage box is minimized. Closed subregions of wall surfaces, in particular the upper, inclined region of the transverse walls, are suitable for permanently affixing identification elements, for example, for riveting bar code labels.
In a preferred embodiment, the skew angle of the upper portion of the sidewall is between 12 ° and 30 ° and the skew angle of the upper portion of the transverse wall is between 6 ° and 18 °. The height of the upper, inclined region of the side and transverse walls is preferably at least 10% and max. 35% of the total height of the transport and storage box. With these angular and dimensional ratios, a particularly high stability of the transport and storage box is achieved with good space utilization.
A further increase in stability is achievable in that the frame which circulates on the upper edge of the lateral and transverse walls forms a collar running downwards towards the outside. This collar, which is also suitable for attacking a lifting device, is preferably at an angle of at least 55 ° and max. Relative to the lower, perforated region of the lateral or transverse walls. 78 ° inclined. The one between the upper, inclined angle range of the side or transverse wall and the collar included angle is preferably at least 45 ° and max. 74 °. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the angle which the collar encloses with a plane parallel to the bottom is at least 1.5 times and at most 3 times the skew angle of the upper region of the transverse wall.
Both from production engineering as well as stability reasons, it is advantageous to manufacture the collar in one piece from the upper, inclined region of the side or transverse wall, preferably in one piece with the entire side or transverse wall. The material from which the collar is made is preferably reinforced on the outside by means of a downwardly bent fold, wherein the reinforced, compared to the rest of the collar a double wall thickness having region of the collar is preferably at least a third, in particular at least half of Width of the collar extends.
On the transverse walls of the transport and storage box recessed grips or handles can be arranged. In the case of hinged handles preferably a locking device is provided, which is suitable for fixing the handle in abutting the transverse wall position, that is in a vertical position. The locking device can be realized in a simple manner by a holding plate connected to the transverse wall or integrally formed therewith, which cooperates with a locking contour formed on the pivot axis of the handle. The handle is preferably shaped so as to be aligned in a vertical position with the outer edge of the collar. That is, when abutting the transport and storage box on a vertical surface of the transport and storage box comes simultaneously with the frame and with the handle with the vertical surface in contact. In addition, can be provided in an advantageous manner from the transverse wall excellent, especially knob-shaped elevations, which form stop surfaces, which are also aligned with the outer edge of the frame. Preferably, in each case such a collection is arranged laterally of the handle. This serves in particular to prevent individual similar transport and storage boxes that abut each other during transport on a conveyor, upright by the forces acting between the boxes.
Ausgabe, Februar 2003).The transport and storage box preferably has basic dimensions of 400 mm x 300 mm or hereby compatible basic dimensions. In particular, the transport and storage box is adapted to the Euro format 800 mm x 1200 mm. The stacking edge is preferably at least 15 mm from the side or transverse wall spaced and formed by a circumferential, a height of at least 9 mm having rail. The transport and storage box is thus suitable for the longitudinal and transverse transport on roller conveyors and compatible with common boxes and lids, also made of plastic. Such boxes are called, up to a base of 400 mm x 600 mm, as KLT (small load carrier). Compatibility exists in particular to KLT systems according to the GALIA standard or according to VDA recommendation 4500 (5th edition, February 2003).
In a series of similar transport and storage boxes, their weight is set to a uniform value. The weight deviation between individual transport and storage boxes is not more than 1%. The boxes are intended for 6-fold stacking.
In the following, an embodiment of the invention that is not to be interpreted in a restrictive manner will be explained in more detail with reference to a drawing, in which: FIG.

- Figur 5 bis 7Figure 5 to 7
- Details des Transport- und Lagerkastens nach den Figuren 1 bis 4.Details of the transport and storage box according to FIGS. 1 to 4.
Figures 1 to 4 show a transport and storage box 1, which is suitable as part of a KLT system, for example, to receive metal parts and be promoted including these metal parts by a car wash. The transport and storage box 1 is made of stainless steel and resistant to acids and alkalis as well as temperature-resistant up to 400 ° C. A
The
The transport and storage box 1 has a width B of 300 mm and a length L of 400 mm as basic dimensions. The total height designated H of the transport and storage box 1 is composed of a first part height h 1 , which indicates the vertical extent of the lower, open areas 9, 10 of the side walls 3 and transverse walls 4, and a second part height h 2 , which the indicates vertical extent of the upper regions 11, 12 including the frame 6. The first part height h 1 includes the 9 mm rail height H s of the rail 7.
On the transverse walls 4 are each a label holder 13, a handle 14, and two knob-shaped elevations 15, each forming a stop surface 16. The label holder 13, which, for example, is suitable for receiving plastic or cardboard labels with a field of view width of 200 mm (see VDA recommendation 4500, item 8.2), and the elevations 15 arranged on both sides of the handle 14 at its height are integrally formed from the material of the transverse wall 3. In the area above the handle 14 and the elevations 15, the inclined area 12 of the transverse wall 4 offers, for example, space for the attachment of a bar code marking.
Details of the handle 14 are shown in FIGS. 5 and 6: A hinged bracket 17 is fastened to the wall surface 4 in a pivotable manner by means of a retaining
The exact design of the frame 6 in the region of the transverse wall 4 is shown in Figure 7: The frame 6 is integrally formed in the form of an outside of the transport and storage box 1 obliquely downwardly extending collar. In the outer region of the collar 6, the sheet, from which it is formed, bent down to a fold, so that the wall thickness of the collar 6 is doubled in this designated as
