Im Hinblick auf einen Hilfsantrieb, insbesondere als Vorwärtsantrieb, ist diese bekannte Antriebsvorrichtung unter den Schiffsboden ausfahrbar oder schwenkbar. Das Ausschenken erfolgt hierbei in der Mittschiffsebene, wobei im ausgeschwenkten Zustand auch eine Drehbarkeit der Antriebsvorrichtung um eine vertikale Achse möglich sein soll.
