- A drainage foil for papermaking installations, which consists of a supporting bar (1, 1a) and of mutually adjacent plates(2, 2a) of a ceramic material fastened to the latter, the plates (2, 2a) of a ceramic material being provided on their side facing the supporting bar (1, 1a) with bars (21, 21a) protruding therefrom and extending in the longitudinal direction of the supporting bar (1, 1a), which bars (21, 21a) are provided along their side edges with undercuts (22), characterised in that a plurality of elastically deformable clips (3, 3a) are disposed in the supporting bar (1, 1a), the free ends (32) of which clips (3, 3a), which are directed towards one another, project into the lateral undercuts (22) of the bars (21, 21a) projecting away from the plates (2, 2a), whereby the free ends (32) of the clips (3, 3a) are latched together with the plates (2, 2a).
- A drainage foil according to claim 1, characterised in that at least some of the clips (3, 3a) extend beyond the end faces of two adjoining plates (2, 2a) of a ceramic material, whereby the free ends (32) of in each case one clip (3, 3a) project into the undercuts (22) of the bars (21, 21a) of two plates (2, 2a) disposed next to one another.
- A drainage foil according to either one of claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the clips (3, 3a) consist of a resilient material, in particular of sheet steel.
- A drainage foil according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the clips (3, 3a) are of cross-sectionally approximately u-shaped construction with a central web (31) and two lateral arms (32), the free ends of the lateral arms (32) being directed towards one another.
- A drainage foil according to claim 4, characterised in that the central web (31) of the clips (3, 3a) is provided with at least one crimped projection (33) directed away from the lateral arms (32).
- A drainage foil according to either one of claims 4 and 5, characterised in that at least one of the two lateral arms (32) of the clips (3, 3a) is provided with a slit (34) oriented transversely of the longitudinal direction of the supporting bar (1, 1a).
- A drainage foil according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the supporting bar (1, 1a) is provided on its face facing the plates (2, 2a) of a ceramic material with a groove (11, 11a) oriented along the longitudinal extension thereof, in which groove (11, 11a) the clips (3, 3a) are located and into which project the undercut bars (21, 21a) of the plates (2, 2a) protruding from the plates (2, 2a).
- A drainage foil according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that it is produced in that a supporting bar (10) is produced by casting and in the process is bonded to the plates (2) of a ceramic material and to the clips (3) latched together therewith.
