Description

  • La présente invention concerne le domaine des équipements domestiques, en particulier des lavabos en forme de vasques, et notamment des lavabos de telle forme réalisés en verre ou en vitrocéramique et a pour objet un dispositif de montage d'un lavabo en forme de vasque en verre ou en vitrocéramique, selon le préambule de la revendication 1.
  • Les lavabos en forme de vasque en verre ou en vitrocéramique, destinés à l'équipement domestique sont généralement réalisés en verre de toute nature et parfois en verre trempé et sont montés sur un support en forme de meuble ou autre.
  • Pour permettre l'écoulement de l'eau et la fixation de ces lavabos au niveau d'un meuble, ces derniers sont actuellement munis d'un orifice fraisé spécialement, afin de permettre un montage et un centrage parfaits de l'élément d'écoulement et de fixation lors du montage du lavabo. Cet élément d'écoulement est constitué par un cylindre creux pourvu à son extrémité débouchant dans le lavabo d'un épaulement conique prenant appui, avec interposition d'un joint sur le bord interne de l'orifice fraisé. Du côté opposé à l'épaulement conique, le cylindre creux est pourvu d'un filetage pour le vissage d'une bague de serrage et de maintien. Cette bague de serrage réalise, avec le cylindre creux fileté, l'assemblage du support de lavabo et du lavabo.
  • Le montage actuel de tels lavabos en forme de vasque, en verre ou en vitrocéramique permet, certes, de satisfaire aux exigences esthétiques mais présente, cependant, l'inconvénient d'entraîner une certaine fragilité. En effet, le fait de réaliser un fraisage spécifique de l'orifice d'évacuation d'eau, afin de permettre le montage de l'élément d'écoulement, entraîne une diminution de l'épaisseur du verre ou de la vitrocéramique et en réduit les caractéristiques mécaniques. Un tel montage est notamment décrit dans US-2003/2130563 A1 .
  • De plus, le moyen de montage utilisé, à savoir la bague de serrage exerce au niveau de l'orifice fraisé une forte pression de serrage, qui a pour effet de soumettre le verre ou la vitrocéramique à une contrainte permanente. Il s'ensuit que si cette contrainte devient trop importante, il existe un risque élevé de casse du verre ou de la vitrocéramique, lors du montage ou en cours d'utilisation.
  • La présente invention a pour but de pallier ces inconvénients en proposant un dispositif de montage d'un lavabo en forme de vasque en verre ou en vitrocéramique permettant un montage rapide et simple d'un tel lavabo, tout en évitant les risques d'endommagement ou de destruction existant à ce jour.
  • A cet effet, le dispositif conforme à l'invention est constitué sous forme d'un adaptateur interposé, au niveau de l'orifice d'écoulement, entre la face inférieure du lavabo en forme de vasque en verre ou en vitrocéramique et un support, cet adaptateur étant relié à ladite face inférieure dudit lavabo par collage et fixé sur le support par l'intermédiaire d'un élément d'écoulement, selon la revendication 1.
  • L'invention sera mieux comprise, grâce à la description ci-après, qui se rapporte à un mode de réalisation préféré, donné à titre d'exemple non limitatif, et expliqué avec référence au dessin schématique annexé, dont la figure unique est une vue partielle en coupe du dispositif conforme à l'invention.
  • La figure du dessin annexé représente schématiquement le fond d'un lavabo en verre ou en vitrocéramique 1 monté sur un support 2 au moyen d'un dispositif de montage 3.
  • Conformément à l'invention, ce dispositif de montage 3 est essentiellement constitué sous forme d'un adaptateur interposé, au niveau de l'orifice d'écoulement 1', entre la face inférieure du lavabo 1 en forme de vasque en verre ou en vitrocéramique et le support 2, cet adaptateur 3 étant relié à ladite face inférieure dudit lavabo 1 par une couche de colle 6 ou un adhésif et fixé sur le support 2 par l'intermédiaire d'un élément d'écoulement 4.
  • L'élément d'écoulement 4 se présente avantageusement sous forme d'un cylindre creux terminé à son extrémité traversant l'orifice 1' par un épaulement conique 4' et pourvu sous ledit épaulement 4' d'un filetage destiné à coopérer avec une bague 5 de serrage s'appuyant sous le support 2, l'épaulement 4' présentant, de préférence, un diamètre inférieur à celui de l'orifice d'écoulement 1' et s'appuyant directement sur le dispositif de montage ou adaptateur 3.
  • Ainsi, l'ensemble formé, par collage, par le dispositif de montage ou adaptateur 3 et par le lavabo 1 en forme de vasque en verre ou en vitrocéramique est serré directement sur le support 2, tout en évitant une action mécanique de serrage sur le verre ou la vitrocéramique formant le lavabo 1 en forme de vasque. Il en résulte qu'un usinage spécifique de l'orifice 1' du lavabo 1 en forme de vasque n'est plus nécessaire pour assurer un montage correct de l'élément d'écoulement 4, l'orifice 1' pouvant consister en un simple trou percé conventionnellement.
  • Le dispositif de montage 3 ou adaptateur peut être réalisé en tout matériau à base minérale, métallique ou synthétique compatible avec une colle pour le verre ou la vitrocéramique constitutif du lavabo 1 en forme de vasque. De préférence, la couche de colle 6 pour la fixation du verre ou de la vitrocéramique constitutif du lavabo 1 en forme de vasque est une colle à base de silicone. Dans le cas d'utilisation d'un adhésif, celui-ci peut être de type double-face.
  • Selon une caractéristique de l'invention, le lavabo 1 en forme de vasque peut avantageusement être pourvu, sur une portion de sa surface externe ou interne, d'un décor 7 en émail vitrifié déposé par sérigraphie. De préférence, ce décor 7 s'étend au moins autour de l'orifice 1' sur une surface correspondant à celle du collage du lavabo 1 en forme de vasque sur le dispositif de montage 3 ou adaptateur. Ainsi, il est possible de rendre totalement invisible la zone de collage entre le lavabo 1 en forme de vasque et le support 2.
  • Le support 2 peut être constitué par un dessus de meuble, un plateau de table, une console de fixation murale ou tout autre moyen de maintien du lavabo 1 en position d'utilisation.
  • Grâce à l'invention il est possible de réaliser un montage de lavabos en forme de vasques, réalisés en verre ou en vitrocéramique, dans lequel lesdits lavabos en forme de vasques sont maintenus en position sur leur support sans être soumis à des tensions de serrage préjudiciables à leur résistance mécanique.
  • En outre, le montage selon l'invention permet l'obtention d'un effet esthétique amélioré, notamment du fait de la disposition de l'épaulement conique 4' de l'élément d'écoulement 4 à l'intérieur de l'orifice 1'.
  • Bien entendu, l'invention n'est pas limitée au mode de réalisation décrit et représenté au dessin annexé. Des modifications restent possibles, notamment du point de vue de la constitution des divers éléments ou par substitution d'équivalents techniques, sans sortir pour autant du domaine de protection tel que décrit dans les revendications.

Claims (4)

  1. Dispositif de montage d'un lavabo (1) en forme de vasque en verre ou en vitrocéramique, ledit dispositif comprenant un adaptateur (3), un élément d'écoulement (4), une bague (5) de serrage et une couche de colle (6) ou un adhésif, l'adaptateur (3) étant destiné à être interposé, au niveau de l'orifice d'écoulement (1') du lavabo (1), entre la face inférieure du lavabo (1) en forme de vasque en verre ou en vitrocéramique, et un support (2), caractérisé en ce que l'adaptateur (3) est reliable à ladite face inférieure dudit lavabo (1) par la couche de colle (6) ou un adhésif et est destiné à être fixé sur le support (2) par l'intermédiaire de l'élément d'écoulement (4), l'élément d'écoulement (4) se présentant sous forme d'un cylindre creux terminé à son extrémité destinée à traverser l'orifice d'écoulement (1)' du lavabo (1) par un épaulement conique (4') et pourvu sous ledit épaulement (4') d'un filetage destiné à coopérer avec la bague (5) de serrage destinée à être appuyée sous le support (2), l'épaulement (4') présentant un diamètre inférieur à celui de l'orifice d'écoulement (1') et s'appuyant directement sur l'adaptateur (3).
  2. Dispositif, suivant la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'il est réalisé en tout matériau à base minérale, métallique ou synthétique compatible avec une colle pour le verre ou la vitrocéramique constitutif du lavabo (1) en forme de vasque.
  3. Dispositif, suivant la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la couche de colle (6) pour la fixation du verre ou de la vitrocéramique constitutif du lavabo (1) en forme de vasque est une colle à base de silicone.
  4. Dispositif, suivant la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'adhésif de collage est de type double-face.
