  • the male terminal reaches the bottom of the cylindrical housing, it also presses down the elastic arm of the anti-turn locker, pushing it down to the bottom; then the vertical body is rotated and the flanges of the male terminal are pressure-fitted under the projections, so that the vertical body stops pressing the elastic arm and the latter returns to its raised position in which its lateral edge lays next to the corresponding flat sidewall of the male terminal, thus preventing it to be rotated in the opposite sense and, therefore, granting the safety of the coupling against possible attempts of disassembly by way of fun or vandalism.
  • the process is carried out by the insertion of the anti-theft key, or a similar tool, into the passageway in order to push down the appendix of the elastic arm, so that the latter goes down and releases the possibility of carrying out a rotation opposite to the assembly rotation.
  • the vertical body In order to facilitate the gripping of the vertical body when assembling or disassembling the road sign, the vertical body is provided with diametrically opposite concavities with a section in the form of a "C", said concavities having in their upper wall indentations ergonomic with respect to the fingers of the user. Also ergonomically, these concavities are at a distance from the upper end of the vertical body that is suitable for laying the palms of both hands of the user when the corresponding fingers are well placed in the indentations.
  • the plate of the anti-turn locker comprises vertical lugs that project from its inferior plane, where the plate leans on the bottom of the cylindrical housing, and face each other at a distance a little larger than the distance between vertical walls formed at the bottom of this cylindrical housing.

  • the elastic arm 3.1 has an appendix 3.3 that is located in a cavity 1.2 formed in the wall of the cylindrical housing 1.1 and is communicated with the periphery of the base 1 around the cylindrical housing by means of a passageway 1.3 that allows to insert an anti-theft key 6 (figure 3).
  • Figures 14 to 16 illustrate the operation and operativity of the invention as have been described above, said operation being particularly simple. It is assumed that the base 1 is anchored to the ground by anchoring means applied to holes 1.5; then the anti-turn locker 3 is inserted in the cylindrical housing 1.1 of the base 1, so that the appendix 3.3 of the elastic arm 3.1 is placed in cavity 1.2. This is feasible by virtue of the general shape of the cylindrical housing 1.1 and the elasticity of the 1.1 anti-turn locker 3.
  • the vertical body 2 is inserted in the cylindrical housing 1.1 so that the flat sidewalls 4.1 of the male terminal 4 go (figure 14) through the projections 5, the elastic arm 3.1 of the anti-turn locker 3 being pushed down (figure 15) by the lower side of the male terminal 4 and ending at the same level than the rest of the body of the anti-turn locker 3.
  • the vertical body 2 is rotated a quarter of turn until reaching the final position of assembly indicated in figure 16, where the elastic arm 3.1 is not pushed down and by its own elastic nature returns upwards to its natural position (as shown in figures 1 to 5), in which its lateral edge 3.2 lays next to one of the flat sidewalls 4.1 of the male terminal 4, preventing it from being disassembled by a rotation in the opposite sense to that of the assembly rotation.
  • the vertical body 2 comprises diametrically opposite concavities 2.1, which have a section shaped as a "C" that in its upper wall form indentations 2.2 ergonomic with respect to the fingers of the user.
  • These concavities 2.1 are, also in an ergonomic way, at a distance from the upper end of the vertical body 2 that is suitable for laying the palms of both hands of the user when the corresponding fingers are accommodated in the indentations 2.2.
  • the assembly handling does not require any tool, and the disassembly handling only requires inserting the anti-theft key so as to push the elastic arm 3.1 through the appendix 3.3 specially designed for this function.
  • the invention to have means that by mere assembly, without using any tools, manages the correct immobilization of the anti-turn locker 3 to the bottom of the cylindrical housing 1.1 of the base 1.
  • These means consist in that (see figures 1 to 5 and 13) the plate of the anti-turn locker 3 comprises vertical lugs 3.4 that project from its inferior plane, where the plate leans on the bottom of the cylindrical housing 1.1, and face each other at a distance a little larger than the distance between vertical walls 1.4 formed at the bottom of this cylindrical housing 1.1.
  • the male terminal 4 is formed in a narrower lower portion of the vertical body 2 and determines a neck in conjunction with the base 1.
  • This configuration helps the vertical body 2 to lie down when it is shoved by a vehicle and to recover later its upright position without enduring a significant damage, in accordance with the characteristics required by the norm of vertical signalling UNE NORM 135363:1998.
  • the signs having a cylindrical body with equal nominal diameter from top to bottom have a much bigger moment of inertia and, although they may recover elastically after being forcibly reclined, the damage they endure is much greater.
  • the anti-theft key 6 is intended for the anti-theft key 6 to be made having a flange 6a that when rotating may find in its trajectory the appendix 3.3 of the elastic arm 3.1, making it to go downwards and releasing the locking of the vertical body, as can be seen in figures 20, 21 and 22.
