Abstract

Bei einer selbstfahrenden Baumaschine (1) zum Bearbeiten von Bodenoberflächen (2), mit einem Maschinenrahmen (4), mit einem Antriebsmotor (6) für den Antrieb von Fahreinrichtungen (8) und von Arbeitseinrichtungen, und mit einer anhebbaren, von einem Walzenantrieb (10) angetriebenen, und von diesem entkoppelbaren Fräswalze (12) zum Fräsen der Bodenoberflächen (2), wobei die Fräswalze (12) in eine angehobene Position verlagerbar ist, wenn sie nicht im Fräsbetrieb ist, ist vorgesehen, dass die Fräswalze (12) im angehobenen Zustand bei einer Fahrtrichtung, bei der die Drehrichtung der Fräswalze (12) mit der Drehrichtung der Fahreinrichtungen (8) übereinstimmt, mit dem Antriebsmotor (6) gekoppelt bleibt und dass eine Überwachungseinrichtung (14) einen Abstand der Fräswalze (12) zur Bodenoberfläche (2) überwacht und die angehobene Fräswalze (12) von dem Antriebsmotor (6) entkoppelt und/oder die Fahreinrichtungen (8) von dem Antriebsmotor (6) entkoppelt und/oder den Maschinenrahmen (4) anhebt und/oder ein Alarmsignal erzeugt, wenn die Überwachungseinrichtung (14) ein Unterschreiten eines vorgegebenen Abstandes detektiert.
