Die Klinge 1 liegt direkt an der Schmalseite 51 der Möbelbauplatte 5 an und ist mit ihrer einen, in einem spitzen Winkel ausgebildeten, Schneide direkt an der Oberfläche des abzulängenden Ende 4 des Umleimers 8 angeordnet. Die zweite Klinge 2 ist an der dem abzulängenden Ende 4 des Umleimers 8 gegenüberliegenden Schmalseite 52 der Möbelbauplatte 5 angeordnet.

Dieser Schneidvorgang kann in Zweihandbedienung durch die ausführende Person geführt werden, indem eine Hand das Halteelement 12 fixiert, während die zweite Hand am Griffelement 15 der Basis 9 die gesamte Vorrichtung fixierend gegen die Schmalseite 51 der Möbelbauplatte 5 presst.

Zur weiteren Führung der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung an der Schmalseite 51 der Möbelbauplatte 5 ist von der ersten Klinge 1 in Ablängrichtung beanstandet ein Justierelement 20 angeordnet. Dieses Justierelement 20 steht in Wirkverbindung mit der ebenfalls an der Schmalseite 51 anliegenden ersten Klinge 1 und führt so zu einer stabilen und wenig kraftaufwendigen Schneidposition der die Vorrichtung bedienenden Person.
Das Hebelelement 13 der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung ist mittels eines hier nicht sichtbaren Federelementes 11 entgegen der Ablängrichtung haltbar angeordnet.
In diesem Ausführungsbeispiel ist die zweite Klinge 2 so an der Halteeinheit 3 angeordnet, dass diese über Einstellelemente 7 veränderbar ist, so dass der Spalt zwischen der ersten Klinge 1 und der zweiten Klinge 2 der jeweiligen Dicke des Umleimers 8 optimal anpassbar ist, so dass das abzulängende Ende 4 des Umleimers 8 ohne großen Kraftaufwand mit einer kurzen Bewegung des Hebelelementes 13 um die Drehpunktführung 14 abtrennbar ist.

Die Basis 9 der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung ist über das Distanzelement 91 von der Oberseite der Möbelbauplatte 5 beabstandet angeordnet und durch die bedienende Person über das Griffelement 15 fixierbar.
In diesem Ausführungsbeispiel ist das Justierelement 20 so ausgebildet, dass es ein Federelement 22 und ein Spannelement 21 umfasst. Durch diese vorteilhafte Ausbildung lässt sich mithilfe des orthogonal zur Ablängrichtung angeordneten Spannelementes 21 die Schmalseite 51 der Möbelbauplatte 5 umfassen, was zu einer besseren und optimaleren Fixierung bzw. Führung beim Ablängen von Umleimem 8 führt.
Das abzulängende Ende 4 des Umleimers 8 ist zwischen der ersten Klinge 1 und der zweiten Klinge 2 erkennbar, wobei in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel die erste Klinge 1 in einem spitzen Winkel zur zweiten Klinge 2 angeordnet ist und an einer Stelle am abzulängenden Ende 4 des Umleimers 8 anliegt. Die erste Klinge 1 weist eine in einem spitzen Winkel ausgebildete Schneide auf, während die zweite Klinge 2 eine in einem prismatischen Querschnitt ausgebildete Schneide aufweist.
An der Halteeinheit 3 ist das Hebelelement 13 erkennbar, welches über die Drehpunktführung 14, welche in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel als Rundbolzen ausgebildet ist, drehbar an der Halteeinheit 3 angeordnet und über das an der Drehpunktführung 14 angeordnete Federelement 11 fixierbar ist. Durch eine Drehbewegung des Hebelelementes 13 um die Drehpunktführung 14 wird in einem ersten Schritt die zweite Klinge 2 an die Oberfläche des abzulängenden Endes 4 des Umleimers 8 herangeführt und in einem zweiten Schritt bei weiterer Bewegung des Hebelelementes 13 um die Drehpunktführung 14 schneidet die erste Klinge 1 das abzulängende Ende 4 des Umleimers 8 ab, wobei die Schnittfläche des abgelängten Umleimers 8 weißbruchfrei ist und den gleichen Winkel zur Schmalseite 52 der Möbelbauplatte 5 aufweist wie die Schmalseite 51.
In diesem Ausführungsbeispiel ist die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung so ausgebildet, dass das Halteelement 12 an der in Richtung des abzulängenden Endes 4 des Umleimers 8 gegenüberliegenden Seite der Halteeinheit 13 angeordnet ist und somit für Linkshänder optimal geeignet ist.
Somit ist durch den Einsatz der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung zum Ablängen von Umleimern 8 erstmals ein weißbruchfreier Schnitt, insbesondere bei Umleimern 8 aus thermoplastischen Werkstoffen möglich, wobei die Schnittfläche des abgelängten Umleimers 8 in etwa den gleichen Winkel zur Schmalseite 52 der Möbelbauplatte 5 aufweist wie die Schmalseite 51.

  8. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the distance between the first blade (1) and the second blade (2) can be altered by way of at least one setting element (7).
  9. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the adjusting element (20) has at least one tensioning element (21) and a second spring element (22).
  10. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the tensioning element (21) is arranged such that it can move orthogonally with respect to the cutting-to-size direction.
  11. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that at least one gripping element (15) is arranged on the base (9).
  12. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the base (9) is arranged spaced apart from the top side of the furniture panel (5) by way of a spacer element (91).
  13. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the cut surface of the cut-to-size edge strip (8) has the same angle to the first narrow side (52) of the furniture panel (5) as the second narrow side (51).
