Abstract

  1. A device for storing shopping bags, comprising
    a rigid storage volume (1) having an access trap (2);
    a carrying handle (3) fastened to the storage volume (1);
    means (3) fastened to the storage volume to allow for fast attachment of the device to the handrail (4) of a shopping cart;
    at least one elongated opening (5) on the side of the storage volume (1) in order to allow for extraction of a bag stored in folded form inside the volume, characterized in that the fast attachment means are integrated into the carrying handle (3).
  2. The device according to claim 1, characterized in that an elongated opening (5) is provided on each left and right side of the storage volume (1) in order to allow for a bag stored inside the volume to be extracted from either side.
  3. The device according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the storage volume (1) comprises an elastic means (6) applying pressure on the bag(s) stored inside the volume (1).
  4. The device according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the elastic means (6) is supported by the access trap (2).
  5. The device according to any of claims 3 or 4, characterized in that the elastic means (6) comprises a folded elastic tab, one part of which is fastened to the storage volume, and the other one of which is in contact with the bag(s) stored inside the volume.
  6. The device according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the elongated opening(s) (5) has/have a cutout (7) along one elongated edge, or preferably along each elongated edge, and preferably towards the middle in order to facilitate grasping of a bag stored inside the volume.
  7. The device according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises a fast closing means (8) for the or one of the elongated openings (5), preferably, as a part to be fitted onto the storage volume (1).
