Claims (17)
- Web-fed rotary printing press having a printing-unit cylinder, having a web (B2; B3) and having a funnel assembly (01) with at least one funnel group with at least two folding formers (A; B; A'; B') which are arranged next to one another, at least one of the folding formers (A'; B') of the funnel group or an additional folding former (F) of the funnel assembly (01) being of asymmetrical configuration with regard to its width transversely with respect to the run-on direction of the web, in such a way that it has a first funnel flank and a second funnel flank (f) which is longer than the first funnel flank and extends obliquely with respect to the web running direction, characterized in that the longer funnel flank of the asymmetrical folding former (A'; B'; E; F) has at least a width which, in projection onto the entering part web is significantly wider than one quarter of the active width (b02) of the printing-unit cylinder (02).
- Web-fed rotary printing press according to Claim 1, characterized in that the asymmetrical funnel (F) is configured as a half funnel (F) and has merely one funnel flank (f) which extends obliquely with respect to the web running direction.
- Web-fed rotary printing press according to Claim 1, characterized in that the active width (b02) of the printing-unit cylinder (02) corresponds to a maximum width to be printed.
- Web-fed rotary printing press according to Claim 1, characterized in that a slitter having at least two knives (M1; M2) which are spaced apart from one another transversely with respect to the web running direction is arranged upstream of the funnel assembly (01).
- Web-fed rotary printing press according to Claim 4, characterized in that the web (B2; B3) can be slit by the slitter optionally into two part webs of half the width or three part webs of a third the width.
- Web-fed rotary printing press according to Claim 1, characterized in that a full web (B3) is slit into three webs of a third the width and is guided jointly over the longer funnel flank (f) of the asymmetrical funnel (A'; B'; F).
- Web-fed rotary printing press according to Claim 6, characterized in that at least two of the three part webs are guided over in each case one turner bar arrangement.
- Web-fed rotary printing press according to Claim 2, characterized in that the half funnel (F) is arranged laterally next to the group of funnels (A; B).
- Web-fed rotary printing press according to Claim 1, characterized in that the two funnels (A; B) of the funnel group have in each case one funnel flank which corresponds to the width of an upright printed page in a first format.
- Web-fed rotary printing press according to Claim 9, characterized in that at least one of the two funnels (A; B) of the funnel group has a funnel flank (f) which is larger than the width of the first funnel flank and corresponds to the width or length of a second format.
- Web-fed rotary printing press according to Claim 9, characterized in that the two funnels (A; B) of the funnel group are of symmetrical configuration and have in each case two funnel flanks of identical width.
- Web-fed rotary printing press according to Claims 2 and 11, characterized in that the half funnel (F) has a funnel flank (f) which is wider than the width of the upright printed page of the first format.
- Web-fed rotary printing press according to Claims 2 and 11, characterized in that the half funnel (F) has a funnel flank (f) which is wider than one quarter of the active width (b02) of the printing-unit cylinder (02).
- Web-fed rotary printing press according to Claim 5 or 6, characterized in that the web (B3) which is still uncut has the printed images of precisely three printed pages next to one another transversely with respect to the web running direction.
- Method for producing a printed product by means of a web-fed rotary printing press having a printing-unit cylinder, having a web (B2; B3) and having a funnel assembly (01) with at least one funnel group with at least two folding formers (A; B; A'; B') which are arranged next to one another, a web (B2) being slit in a first operating situation into two part webs of half the width and being guided onto at least one of the two funnels (A; A'; B; B') of the funnel group, and a web (B3) being cut in a second operating situation into three part webs of a third the width and at least two of the three part webs being guided jointly onto a funnel flank (f) of one of the two folding formers (A'; B') of the funnel group or of an additional folding former (F) which, with regard to its width, is of asymmetrical configuration transversely with respect to the run-on direction of the web, in such a way that it has a first funnel flank and a second funnel flank (f) which is longer than the first funnel flank.
- Method according to Claim 15, characterized in that, in the second operating situation, at least two of the three part webs are turned into a same alignment via in each case one turner device (W) and are guided onto the alignment of the longer funnel flank (f).
- Method according to Claim 15, characterized in that the web (B3) which is still uncut is printed with three printing pages next to one another in the second operating situation before the slitting.
