Definitions
- the present invention relates to a safety device for the protection of persons from falling.
- the invention also relates to a climbing facility that is adapted to at least one such securing device.
- Fall protection devices are required and usually required for personal protection during work or activities involving persons at an altitude at which serious injury can be expected if the person falls.
- Fall-prone activities are for example in the work area, if people on high buildings, such as skyscrapers, bridges, towers, chimneys, cranes or ships on the high seas, active, and in the tourism or leisure, if people on climbing walls (indoor or outdoor) or alpine climbing or moving through so-called "rope gardens", as well as in the training area, if people are working on unsafe ground for training purposes (see for example the documents: US-A-2002/17502 U and DE-A-3345290 ).
- a ropes course is a system in which, with the help of ropes, especially steel ropes, artificial obstacles are created, which become a meaningful parkur are arranged for different tasks, requirements and exercises.
- a distinction is made, for example, between low-ropes gardens, where people move up to 4m in height, and high ropes courses, in which people move at heights greater than 4m. It has been shown that in high ropes courses due to the much greater height, which can be, for example, between 8m and 12m, the interest in the leisure and tourism sector due to the higher thrill is much stronger than in low ropes gardens. Also in the training sector, the increased nervous load for certain learning objectives can be used to advantage.
- Outdoor ropes courses can be integrated into a natural tree population as well as built by means of tree trunks, concrete or steel pillars, which are specially set up for this purpose on open spaces.
- Indoor ropes courses are made with pillars, e.g. Concrete or steel structures, built in suitable halls.
- stationary ropes courses can be relatively easily set up and dismantled to realize time-limited events at suitable locations.
- Target groups for ropes courses can be found in the leisure or tourism sector, in the event sector as well as in the training area.
- a securing device comprises a stop element, for example a snap hook, which is connected via a cable-shaped connecting element with the respective person, for example via a chest and / or hip belt.
- the person can then safely connect with the securing device with a suitable stationary securing element, such as a rope or an eyelet.
- a suitable stationary securing element such as a rope or an eyelet.
- the person attaches the respective stop element to the respective securing element. In the case of a crash, the respective person falls then only in her belt.
- the respective stop element must first be removed from the one fuse element, in order to then attach it to the other fuse element can.
- the respective person is not secured for a short time.
- the respective person can work with a safety device having two stop elements, which are connected via separate connecting elements with the person. The person can then always secure with two stop elements on each fuse element.
- the two stop elements in succession implement. When dissolved first stop element, the person is still on the second stop element still secured to the first securing element. After attaching the first stop element on the second securing element, the second stop element can be safely released and also implemented.
- the invention is concerned with the problem of providing for a safety device of the type mentioned or for a climbing facility of the type mentioned in an improved embodiment, which is characterized in particular by increased personal safety.
- the invention is based on the general idea, in a safety device which operates with two stop elements, to provide a coupling device which provides a coupling between the two stop elements, such that with the release of a stop element from the respective securing element, the other stop element is blocked or blocked and thus remains permanently on the respective securing element. Only when the first stop element is again attached to a securing element, the second stop element is unblocked or unlocked and thus detachable from the respective fuse element. When releasing the second securing element, the coupling device again causes a blockage or blocking of the first stop element, so that it is permanently attached to the respective securing element when the second stop element is released.
- the safety device according to the invention thus prevents an arbitrary or accidental removal of both stop elements of the respective fuse elements. The thus secured person is thus always connected to at least one stop element on a fuse element. The risk of falling is thereby reduced.
- the stop elements are adapted to the respective securing elements, in such a way that the respective stop element can be attached only to suitable securing elements.
- This construction avoids accidental or arbitrary attachment of the stop elements to unsuitable securing elements or to other elements which are unsuitable for securing. This measure also contributes to the increase in personal security.
- the securing element may be a rope having a certain outer cross section.
- the stop elements then suitably each have an insertion opening which is dimensioned so that only serving as a securing element rope is inserted.
- the stop elements can then not be attached to thicker ropes.
- a combination of climbing system according to the invention with the securing device is characterized in that all safety ropes on which stop elements of the safety device according to the invention are to be attached, do not exceed a certain maximum cross-section. All other ropes which are unsuitable for personal security and which are used in the climbing system, for example, for the realization of obstacles Parkur, have a larger cross-section. In this way it is ensured that the stop elements are attachable only to the designated safety ropes.
- the climbing facility, especially a rope garden, is safer.
- Fig. 1 to 5 comprises a securing device 1 according to the invention, which serves to protect a person not shown from falling, two stop elements 2, 3, hereinafter referred to as the first stop element 2 and second stop element 3 are called.

- the enumerated embodiments of the coupling device 14 are merely exemplary and are not intended to limit the generality of the present invention.
- a person, not shown, secured on the securing element 4 with the aid of the securing device 1 wishes to move from the first section 4 a of the securing element 4, which is located in FIG Fig. 1 located to the left of the fitting element 7, the second section 4b of the fuse element 4 change, which is in Fig. 1 is located to the right of the fitting element 7.
- the fitting element 7 is not traversable by the stop elements 2, 3, so that they must be released from the fuse element 4 in order to hang them.
- the locking devices 13 are at both stop elements 2, 3 in their respective locking state.
- the status of the coupling device 14 is in the Fig. 1a to 1f represented by a circular symbol 26, wherein the respective circular symbol 26 is shown as a circular area when the coupling device 14 at the respective locking device 13 blocks the locking state (see Fig. 1c to 1e ), and is shown as a circular ring when the coupling device 14, the respective locking device 13 is not blocked, so releases.
- the coupling device 14 is configured and coupled with the two locking devices 13, that it is not possible to unlock both locking devices 13 at the same time, so that only one of the locking devices 13 can be unlocked.
- the safety lever 18 In order first to be able to convert the first stop element 2 from the first section 4a to the second section 4b, the safety lever 18 must first be actuated at its locking device 13 and transferred from its first position into the second position, which is shown in FIG Fig. 1b symbolized by an arrow. Only then can the associated release lever 16 are actuated. Such an arrangement may also be referred to as a two-lever controller.
- the locking device 13 of the first stop element 2 is now in its unlocked state. With the operation of the release lever 16, the coupling device 14 is automatically and inevitably driven. As a result, this leads to a blockage of the locking state of the locking device 13 in the second stop element 3. Accordingly, the circle icon 26 is now shown as a circular area. The blockage of the locking state in the locking device 13 of the second stop element 3 has the result that the locked locking device 13 can not be unlocked and thus the second stop element 3 can not be removed from the fuse element 4. The person remains secure.
- the second stop element 2 With the unlocking of the locking device 13 of the first stop element 2, the second stop element 2 can simultaneously be positioned relative to the securing element 4 so that the securing element 4 extends in alignment with an insertion opening 30 formed in a housing 31 of the respective stop element 2, 3. At the same time, the latch 15 releases the securing element 4. Accordingly Now, the first stop element 2 can be removed from the securing element 4 transversely to its longitudinal direction. Corresponding Fig. 1d The first securing element 2 can now be attached to the securing element 4 transversely to the longitudinal direction of the securing element 4 again on the second section 4b, that is to say on the right of the fitting element 7. This conversion process is in Fig. 1d symbolized by an arrow.
- the coupling device 14 maintains the blocking state of the locking device 13 at the second stop element 3, as long as the locking device 13 is unlocked at the first stop element 2.
- This can be achieved, for example, with the aid of the release device 27.
- This may be designed to be e.g. unlocks the unlocked locking device 13 in the unlocked state and releases this unlocking state again only when the respective stop element 2, 3 is attached to the respective fuse element 4. Only after release of the unlocked locking device 13 can these be locked again.
- the coupling device 14 may further be configured such that it only releases its blocking position for blocking the locking state in the locking device 13 of the second stop element 3 when the unlocked locking device 13 of the first stop element 2 again has its locking state.
- the release device 27 locks the coupling device 14 in its blocking position and releases this blocking position only when the stop element 2 with the unlocked locking device is again attached to the securing element 4.
- the release device 27 can therefore ensure that the unlocked locking device 13 can only be converted into its locking state again when the associated stop element 2, 3 is again attached to a suitable securing element 4.
- the first stop element 2 can be lowered relative to the securing element 4 in accordance with an arrow.
- the driver 28 is taken from the fuse element 4, whereby the blocking effect of the release device 27 is released.
- the unlocking lever 16 can also be moved back into its first position, in which it is biased, for example spring-loaded. This condition is in Fig. 1e played.
- the coupling device 14 is designed so that they only when secured Release lever 16, the blockage position at the locking device 13 of the second stop element 3 gives up.
- the safety device 1 in Fig. 1f the same condition as in Fig. 1a with the difference that now the first stop element 2 is converted to the second section 4b of the securing element 4. Only now is it possible to remove the second stop member 3 in a corresponding manner from the first section 4a and also implement it.
- This process is then analogous to that in the Fig. 1a to 1f described process, so that it is also ensured here that during the implementation of the second stop element 3, the first stop element 2 is not removable from the fuse element 4. The secured with the securing device 1 person is thus permanently secured.
- the stop elements 2, 3 can also be provided to adapt the stop elements 2, 3 specifically to the respective securing elements 4.
- a kind of key-lock system is to be realized, so that the stop elements 2, 3 can only be attached to suitable securing elements 4.
- the dimensioning of the insertion opening 30 is selected so that only securing elements 4 with certain dimensions can be inserted.
- Fig. 4 shows a further particular embodiment, in which the stop elements 2, 3 are additionally equipped with a state recognition device 32 and with a signaling device 33.
- the state recognition device 32 can detect the presence of the unlock state and / or the Detect locking state of the respective locking device 13.
- the signaling device 33 communicates with the locking device 13 and can emit an optical and / or acoustic signal depending on whether the unlocking state or the locking state is present.
- the power supply required for this purpose can again be realized by batteries or accumulators, which are attached in a suitable manner to the respective stop elements 2, 3 or are integrated into the individual components. It is clear that, in principle, the other embodiments shown here can also be equipped with such a state recognition device 32 and with such a signal-generating device 33.
- the state recognition device 32 and the signal-generating device 33 can be combined to form an integral component.
- a climbing facility 34 which is designed in particular as a rope garden, in this case as an outdoor high ropes course, has a plurality of columns 35, which are made, for example, from steel frameworks. At the columns 35 a plurality of obstacles 37 are formed by means of ropes 36, which are assembled to form a meaningful Parkur. Furthermore, rope-shaped securing elements 4 are attached to the columns 35 for personal security, which are referred to below as safety ropes 4. This may be, for example, a continuous safety cable 4, which is fixed at the ends to the outer columns 35 and centrally to the middle column 35 with fitting elements 7. In the region of the middle column 35 is thus in the Fig. 1a to 1f described situation, in which a person who is secured with a securing device 1 of the type described above, the securing device 1 from the left illustrated first section 4a must hang on the right section 4b shown.
- the stop elements 2, 3 of the securing device 1 are preferably specially adapted to the safety ropes 4 of the respective climbing facility 34, so that the stop elements 2, 3 can only be attached to cables whose cross-section does not exceed a certain level.
- the climbing facility 34 according to the invention is characterized in that all ropes 36 which can be reached by the respective user of the climbing facility 34, ie the secured person, have a larger cross-section than the safety ropes 4 used.
- the stop elements 2, 3 are exclusively on the safety ropes 4 attachable.
- the ropes 36 which are not required for securing can, for example, be thickened by means of corresponding sheaths, tubes and the like, so that their outer cross section is larger than the outer cross section of the safety ropes 4.
- Fig. 6 shows another special feature.
- the climbing facility 34 is equipped in the present case with two entry and / or exit stations 38, for example in the form of platforms which are accessible via ladders. These entry and / or exit stations 38 are here each equipped with a freely ending rod 39.
- These rods 39 which are preferably rectilinear, are dimensioned in that a stop element 2, 3 with unlocked locking device 13 can be attached transversely to the rod longitudinal direction.
- the rods 39 thus have approximately the same outer cross-section as the safety cables 4. Since the rods 39 end freely, a locked stop element 2, 3 attached thereto can be removed from the rod 39 in the rod longitudinal direction.
- the securing devices 1 described above can be completely removed from the respective securing element 4 at a location which is safe for the person to be secured.

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a safety device for the protection of persons from falling. The invention also relates to a climbing facility that is adapted to at least one such securing device.
A ropes course is a system in which, with the help of ropes, especially steel ropes, artificial obstacles are created, which become a meaningful parkur are arranged for different tasks, requirements and exercises. A distinction is made, for example, between low-ropes gardens, where people move up to 4m in height, and high ropes courses, in which people move at heights greater than 4m.
In particular, in high ropes courses is further differentiated between outdoor ropes course and indoor ropes course. Outdoor ropes courses can be integrated into a natural tree population as well as built by means of tree trunks, concrete or steel pillars, which are specially set up for this purpose on open spaces. Indoor ropes courses are made with pillars, e.g. Concrete or steel structures, built in suitable halls. Furthermore, a distinction can be made between stationary and non-stationary systems. For example, mobile ropes courses can be relatively easily set up and dismantled to realize time-limited events at suitable locations. Target groups for ropes courses can be found in the leisure or tourism sector, in the event sector as well as in the training area.
In all areas of activity where people are at risk of falling, the safety of the people is paramount Job. For this purpose, the individual persons are secured by means of safety devices. For example, such a securing device comprises a stop element, for example a snap hook, which is connected via a cable-shaped connecting element with the respective person, for example via a chest and / or hip belt. The person can then safely connect with the securing device with a suitable stationary securing element, such as a rope or an eyelet. For this purpose, the person attaches the respective stop element to the respective securing element. In the case of a crash, the respective person falls then only in her belt.
Problems are situations in which the person has to implement the stop element from one securing element to another securing element, for example in order to be able to move. For this purpose, the respective stop element must first be removed from the one fuse element, in order to then attach it to the other fuse element can. During this conversion process, the respective person is not secured for a short time. In order to reduce the risk of falling even on such occasions, the respective person can work with a safety device having two stop elements, which are connected via separate connecting elements with the person. The person can then always secure with two stop elements on each fuse element. When converting the fuse from one fuse element to another, it is now possible, the two stop elements in succession implement. When dissolved first stop element, the person is still on the second stop element still secured to the first securing element. After attaching the first stop element on the second securing element, the second stop element can be safely released and also implemented.
However, it has been shown that it is precisely in the leisure sector, when professional supervision is not always guaranteed, again and again individual persons are overwhelmed to implement the two stop elements one after the other. Likewise, there are particularly reckless persons who do not use the stopper element out of sheer exuberance. As a result, it comes again and again to life-threatening accidents despite such safety devices.
This is where the present invention begins. The invention is concerned with the problem of providing for a safety device of the type mentioned or for a climbing facility of the type mentioned in an improved embodiment, which is characterized in particular by increased personal safety.
This problem is solved according to the invention by the subject matters of the independent claims. Advantageous embodiments are the subject of the dependent claims.
The invention is based on the general idea, in a safety device which operates with two stop elements, to provide a coupling device which provides a coupling between the two stop elements, such that with the release of a stop element from the respective securing element, the other stop element is blocked or blocked and thus remains permanently on the respective securing element. The safety device according to the invention thus prevents an arbitrary or accidental removal of both stop elements of the respective fuse elements. The thus secured person is thus always connected to at least one stop element on a fuse element. The risk of falling is thereby reduced.
In an advantageous development, it can be provided that the stop elements are adapted to the respective securing elements, in such a way that the respective stop element can be attached only to suitable securing elements. This construction avoids accidental or arbitrary attachment of the stop elements to unsuitable securing elements or to other elements which are unsuitable for securing. This measure also contributes to the increase in personal security.
For example, in an advantageous embodiment, the securing element may be a rope having a certain outer cross section. The stop elements then suitably each have an insertion opening which is dimensioned so that only serving as a securing element rope is inserted. The stop elements can then not be attached to thicker ropes.
A combination of climbing system according to the invention with the securing device is characterized in that all safety ropes on which stop elements of the safety device according to the invention are to be attached, do not exceed a certain maximum cross-section. All other ropes which are unsuitable for personal security and which are used in the climbing system, for example, for the realization of obstacles Parkur, have a larger cross-section. In this way it is ensured that the stop elements are attachable only to the designated safety ropes. The climbing facility, especially a rope garden, is safer.
Other important features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims, from the drawings and from the associated figure description with reference to the drawings.

The securing

Suitably, the
The locking
It is noteworthy here that the
Alternatively, it is also possible to couple the
