Abstract

Bei der Herstellung einer Holzfaserplatte (1) für den Dach- und Wandbau mit einer beim Verbau nach außen auszurichtenden Hauptseite (2) und mit einer beim Verbau nach innen auszurichtenden Hauptseite (3) wird ein Faserkuchen (6) aus mit Bindemittel beleimten Lignocellulose-haltigen Fasern heiß verpresst. Zur Ausbildung eines Schimmelschutzes werden Borate (4) in einer Flächenkonzentration von nicht weniger als 1 und nicht mehr als 25 g/m2 auf eine Hauptseite des Faserkuchens (6) oder der Holzfaserplatte (1) aufgebracht, die die beim Verbau nach innen auszurichtende Hauptseite (2) der Holzfaserplatte (1) ausbildet.
