Description

The invention relates to a cooking appliance according to the preamble of claim 1.

Cookers and ovens are known from the prior art, in which the cooking process takes place in the baking muffle by means of hot air. For this purpose, the hot air is circulated by means of a fan or fan in the baking muffle. In this case, is discharged via an exhaust duct, in which a heating element and a downstream catalyst are arranged, vapors to the environment. The heating element and the downstream catalyst have the particular task that the discharged to the environment exhaust air is freed of odors. For this purpose, the organic constituents of Wrasens are heated by the heating element and burned on the catalyst.

Such a cooking appliance, for example, from the English summary of the JP 03221722 A known.

In the conventional embodiments of the exhaust duct, the removal of the Wrasens takes place such that it is pressed or sucked out of the baking chamber, wherein the heating element is designed to heat the Wrasens before flowing through the catalyst is spiral. As a result, fluidized shadow zones form between the heating element and the catalytic converter behind the heating element. The helical heating element, which is usually wound very tightly in the middle, obstructs the flow through the catalyst considerably. This applies in particular to the latter area. In addition, there is still the risk that the vapor in the clear portions of the heating element is not heated in the desired manner, namely to a temperature sufficient for combustion of the organic constituents. Uneven heating and a non-optimally used catalyst surface are therefore the result.

This results in the problem to be solved, a cooking appliance with a baking muffle continue to form such that the discharged via the exhaust duct from the baking muffle fumes before flowing through the catalyst reliably heated to the desired temperature and the entire cross-sectional area of the catalyst for combustion of the organic components the Wrasens is used.

According to the invention, this problem is solved by a cooking appliance according to claim 1. Advantageous developments of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims.

The advantages achieved with the invention consist essentially in the fact that the vapor is gradually and reliably heated in the exhaust duct to the required temperature, so that the required temperature of Wrasens is given before it flows into the catalyst. Due to the design of the exhaust duct in adaptation of the internal elements of the heating element and catalyst, there are also the advantages of a positive control of Wrasens, the pressure difference from inlet to outlet can be kept low. In this case, a slow warming of Wrasens or the air is made possible to the catalyst. Also, the exchange surface can be made larger. As a result of the long drawn exhaust pipe, a higher residence time of Wrasens is achieved in the exhaust duct. Also result from the training much better assembly or disassembly conditions, because a pre-assembly of the exhaust pipe is conceivable, which would ultimately be used only in the stove or oven room.

An advantageous development provides that the electrical connections of the tubular heater are arranged at a single end of the tubular heater. In this way, the assembly / disassembly of the tubular heater is further simplified.

In a further development of the invention, the tubular section of the exhaust duct with tubular heater and tubular honeycomb is arranged diagonally in the rear wall region of the baking muffle. As already mentioned, this advantages in the assembly and disassembly can be achieved. In a further development of the invention, the pipe channel is arranged between the baking muffle rear wall and the adjusted rear wall. In this case, the tubular portion of the exhaust duct can be arranged below or above the baking muffle ceiling.

Figures 1, 2 and 3 show in particular a trained as a hot or convection oven cooking appliance 1 with a baking muffle 2, and arranged behind the baking muffle 2 heating chamber 3, in which a hot air whirling fan or fan 4 is arranged. With the baking muffle 2, an exhaust duct 5 cooperates, which is shown exposed in the figure 4 in an exploded view. In the exhaust duct 5, a heating element 6 is arranged with a downstream catalytic converter 7. Through this exhaust duct 5 is either pressed or sucked, a partial volume flow of the hot air or the Wrasens resulting from the baking process to the environment. So that the vapor is released odorless to the environment, the heating element 6 and the downstream catalyst 7 are provided in the exhaust duct 5.

Demontage des Rohrheizkörpers 10 erleichtert.4, the heating element 6 and the downstream catalytic converter 7 each have a cylindrical envelope surface and are arranged in a tubular section 9 of the exhaust air channel 5. The heating element 6 comprises a tubular heating element 10 with a thread-shaped rib 11, which can be seen in FIG. In principle, it is also conceivable that instead of a single thread-shaped rib 11 several ribs are used, each forming a portion of an imaginary thread-shaped rib. The electrical connections 12 are provided on the tubular heater 10 alone at the lower end 13 of the tubular heater 10. Thus, the tubular heater 10 at a centrally provided in the baking muffle 2 electrical connector easily connect. Furthermore, thereby the assembly or disassembly of the tubular heater 10 is facilitated.

As such, the catalytic converter 7 comprises a cylindrical honeycomb 14, which adjoins the tubular heater 10 downstream. From Figs. 1 and 4 it is clear that the elements lying in series of tubular heater 10 and cylindrical honeycomb 14 are sheathed by the tubular portion 9 of the exhaust duct 5 shell side when the parts are mounted. In the present embodiment, both the tubular heater 10 as well as the catalyst 7 in the interior of the tubular portion 9 of the exhaust duct 5 is arranged.

As can be seen from the figure 1, it is proposed that the tubular portion 9 of the exhaust duct 5 can be arranged with the mounted tubular heater 10 and the mounted tubular honeycomb 14, for example, diagonally in the rear wall portion of the baking muffle 2. In this case, the tubular portion 9 of the exhaust duct 5 between the baking muffle rear wall 16 and adjusted rear wall 15 is arranged. This ensures that the vapor can be removed through the exhaust duct 5. The tubular section 9 of the exhaust air duct 5 could advantageously also be arranged below or above the baking muffle cover 17.

Tubular heater 10 and honeycomb 14 are thus in a common tubular portion 9 open on both sides of the exhaust duct 5. Depending on the expected Wrasenanfall honeycomb 14 and tubular heater 10 in diameter and length can be varied as desired. Due to the inventive design of the exhaust duct 5 and the heating element 6 arranged therein, namely that the clear inner diameter of the tubular portion 9 substantially corresponds to the outer diameter of the tubular heater 10, the vapor, pressed or sucked, the turns of the helical rib 11 of the tubular heater 10 must follow and is thereby heated to the required temperature of about 500 ° Celsius before it flows into the channels of the catalyst honeycomb 14. The inner diameter of the tubular portion 9 and the outer diameter of the tubular heater 10 are matched to one another such that, on the one hand, the aforementioned forced operation of Wrasens is reached. On the other hand, the game between tubular heater 10 and exhaust duct 5 is sized so large that a mounting or dismounting of the aforementioned components is possible without special tool. The temperature profile of Wrasens depending on the raw radiator length is illustrated in Figure 5, where the temperature profile over the length of the tubular heater 10 is shown. In this case, the temperature profile on the Y-axis and the length of the tubular heater 10 are shown on the X-axis, wherein in the upper region, the temperature of the tubular heater, namely about 500 ° Celsius, is shown.

The advantage of the embodiment according to the invention is that the air or the vapor is gradually and reliably heated to the required temperature of about 500 ° Celsius. A temperature sensor 18 for controlling the tubular heater 10 is advantageously arranged downstream of the Rohrheizköpers 10. The embodiment described here further has the advantage that it is space-saving, that is, it can, for example, as already mentioned, be arranged diagonally between baking muffle rear wall 16 and set rear wall 15. An arrangement under or over the baking muffle cover 17 is quite possible.

Particularly space-saving embodiments of the tubular portion 9 of the exhaust duct 5 are shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 by way of example. Depending on the space available in the cooking appliance 1, the tubular portion 9 as well as the rest of the exhaust duct 5 can be adjusted accordingly in the course.

In principle, the material of the tubular portion 9 as well as the rest of the exhaust duct 5 can be selected within wide suitable limits. Advantageously, this is a heat-insulating material, ie a poor heat conductor, used to reduce the influence of the heating element 6 on the food in the baking muffle 2 and thus the cooking result.
