Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a patient support plate with a bearing part for supporting a patient and with a connecting member for connecting the patient support plate with a carrier unit.
In addition, the invention relates to an operating table with such a patient support plate and with an operating table column having a pivotable about at least one pivot axis column head.
By means of the above-mentioned patient support plate, a patient can be reliably stored on the bearing surface formed by the patient support plate for therapeutic treatments and surgical procedures as well as for diagnostic procedures. In many cases it is desirable for the patient to assume an inclined or tilted position during an operation such that the patient support plate is pivotable about a transverse axis to the longitudinal direction of the plate (so-called Trendelenburg position) or about a pivot axis aligned parallel to the longitudinal direction of the plate (US Pat. so-called edging) is inclined. For this purpose, surgical table columns are known, the column head can be pivoted about at least one horizontal pivot axis. The patient support plate can be placed on the column head and transferred by means of the column head in the desired Trendelenburg position or edging. However, the achievable pivoting range is limited.
Object of the present invention is to develop a patient support plate of the type mentioned in such a way that it can be pivoted or tilted over a larger area.
This object is achieved in a patient support plate of the aforementioned type according to the invention that the patient support plate comprises a pivoting mechanism for pivoting the patient support plate about at least one parallel or perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the patient support plate aligned pivot axis.
The patient support plate according to the invention is characterized by a pivot mechanism by means of which the entire patient support plate can be pivoted. The patient support plate can thus be adjusted independently of the carrier unit about a transverse and / or longitudinal axis to achieve a Trendelenburg position and / or edging. If the patient support plate according to the invention is used in combination with an operating table column with pivotable column head, then the adjustment possibilities of the operating table column and the patient support surface add up. This has the advantage that overall larger pivoting ranges can be achieved without the pivoting range of the operating table column having to be increased. On the other hand, by means of the patient support plate in combination with a pivotable column head having operating table column unrestricted Trendelenburg position and at the same time edging can be achieved, for example by means of the Schwenkmechanismusses Trendelenburg position and by means of the pivotable column head the desired edging is brought about.
The patient support plate according to the invention also has the advantage that the patient support plate, regardless of the operating table column, a pivotal position, in particular a Trendelenburg position, can take. This position can be maintained during transfer / acceptance of the patient support plate to or from the carrier unit. This allows for improved patient preparation for surgery. The preset swivel position allows for patient-friendly transport and reduces storage costs.
Since the Trendelenburg function and the Kantungsfunktion can be spatially separated from each other, the usual mutual mechanical limitations of the pivot areas are no longer given when seated on the operating table pedestal patient support plate.
By means of the pivoting mechanism, the bearing part of the patient support plate can be pivoted relative to the connecting member, so that the connecting member can be placed horizontally aligned on the column head of an operating table column, while the bearing part assumes a position inclined to the horizontal.
The patient support plate according to the invention can be used not only in combination with a support unit in the form of an operating table column, but as a carrier unit can also be provided a trolley with which the patient support plate is releasably connectable. Patient support plate, operating table column and dolly can thus form a patient support system, the patient transported gently and can be transferred from the trolley to the operating table column in an optimal position for an operation.
The pivot mechanism is arranged in a preferred embodiment between the bearing part and the connecting member of the patient support plate. Alternatively, for example, be provided that the pivot mechanism is integrated into the base part. For example, the base part may form a frame surrounding the pivoting mechanism.
It is advantageous if the pivoting mechanism is manually operable. For example, a pivot lever may be provided, with the aid of which the patient support plate can be pivoted.
The pivot mechanism may include a locking member for locking the patient support plate in a desired pivot position.
Alternatively or in addition to a manual operation can be provided that the pivoting mechanism is actuated by a motor. For this purpose, for example, an electric motor or hydraulic drive can be used.
In a particularly preferred embodiment, the patient support plate on a drive motor for pivoting the patient support plate. The drive motor is preferably an electric servomotor used.
The patient support plate may, in addition to the bearing part further plate parts, such as a back plate or a leg plate have. It is advantageous if the bearing part at least one further plate part is held by a motor adjustable. In such an embodiment, therefore, not only the bearing part can be pivoted relative to the connecting member, but in addition, at least one further plate part can be pivoted relative to the bearing part. This makes it possible to store a patient, for example for a surgical procedure, in a position that is as gentle as possible for the procedure.
It is advantageous if the patient support plate has a drive motor for adjusting the at least one further plate part. Constructively complex transmission elements between the operating table column and the patient support plate for adjusting the other plate part can be omitted. The drive motor is preferably an electric servomotor used.
A particularly large pivoting range is achieved in an advantageous embodiment of the invention in that the pivoting mechanism defines a first and a second pivot axis, which are offset in the longitudinal or transverse direction of the patient support plate to each other and about the patient support plate is partially pivotable. In this case, it is of particular advantage if at least one of the two pivot axes is arranged at the level of an end region of the connecting element in relation to the longitudinal or transverse direction of the patient support plate. Due to the use of two pivot axes, the patient support plate can be eccentrically relative to the bearing part in relation to the longitudinal or transverse axis of the patient support plate arranged pivot axis are pivoted. This allows a particularly large pivoting range, since the patient support plate for lowering one of its end portions can be pivoted about the pivot axis arranged at a smaller distance from this end region. Thus, if the patient support plate to be pivoted so that the head part occupies a particularly low position, it can be pivoted about the arranged at a shorter distance to this head part pivot axis, whereas when lifting the head part pivoting about the arranged at a shorter distance to a leg plate Swivel axis can be made.
As already explained, the invention does not only relate to a patient support plate of the above-mentioned type. The invention also extends to an operating table with such a patient support plate and with an operating table column having a pivotable about at least one pivot axis column head to which the patient support plate is connectable , By the pivotable column head a first pivoting area for the patient support plate is ensured, and by the use of the Schwenkmechanismusses the patient support plate is provided a further pivoting range, wherein the two pivot areas add each other.

An der Rückenplatte 13 ist auf seiner dem Lagerteil 12 abgewandten Seite ein Kopfteil 15 verstellbar gehalten.FIGS. 1 to 4 schematically show a first embodiment of a patient support plate according to the invention, designated overall by the
The
The
The
However, as is clear from Figure 1, the
The
Bezüglich dieser Bauteile wird zur Vermeidung von Wiederholungen auf die voranstehenden Erläuterungen Bezug genommen.FIGS. 5, 6 and 7 show a second embodiment of a patient support plate, generally designated by the
The
Also, the
For pivoting the
