Claims (10)

  1. Lifting and transporting device for patients or disabled persons, comprising a support means (17) adjustably secured to a base portion (1), the base portion (1) being movable, at least one vertically adjustable crane jib (9) projecting freely from the base portion (1), and the support means (17) being secured to the front end of the crane jib (9, 14) so that it can slew on a vertical axis, characterised in that the base portion (1) can be moved by a motor drive (4), that the base portion (1) is provided with run-out or swing-out legs (29) and that a remote control unit (28) is provided in order to carry out the various movements of the base portion (1), crane jib (9, 14), support means (17), legs (29) and the like.
  2. Lifting and transporting device according to claim 1, characterised in that the crane jib (9, 14) is hinged on to a plate (7) arranged on the base portion (1) so that it can slew on a vertical axis.
  3. Lifting and transporting device according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that the crane jib (9) has a front lifting arm (14) bent in the horizontal direction on which a hydraulic cylinder (15) extending parallel to the lifting arm is arranged, to the piston (16) of which a suspension means (18) for the support means (17) is secured, the suspensions means (18) optionally being provided with a rotating element (20) which can slew on a vertical axis.
  4. Lifting and transporting device according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the support means (17) has two gripper arms each provided with rails (23, 230) from the lower ends of which respective bearing portions (26) with at least approximately horizontal axes project towards the interior.
  5. Lifting and transporting device according to claim 4, characterised in that the rails (23) are arranged on each side on a common horizontal beam (22) acted upon by a hydraulic adjusting means (21) for an opening and closing movement of the two gripper arms.
  6. Lifting and transporting device according to claims 4 and 5, characterised in that the rails (23) are adjustable about an at least approximately horizontal axis (31) and are optionally connected in a longitudinally displaceable manner to the associated beam (22).
  7. Lifting and transporting device according to claim 6, characterised in that the rails (23, 230) are formed in two parts with an upper portion (23) which is hinged on to the respective beam (22) and a lower portion (230) from which the bearing portions (26) branch off.
  8. Lifting and transporting device according to one of claims 5 to 7, characterised in that the hydraulic adjusting means (21) is releasably connected to the beams (22).
  9. Lifting and transporting device according to one of claims 5 to 8, characterised in that the beams (22A) are angled and rails (23) are adjustably secured to each arm of the angle portions.
  10. Lifting and transporting device according to one of claims 5 to 9, characterised in that at least four rails (23, 230) are arranged alongside one another and at a distance from one another on each beam (22).
