  1. Jamb for a closing frame, in particular for a door, window, french window or the like, comprising
    • a side rail (1) with a longitudinal axis (2) which is approximately parallel to a first given direction (3),

    • a spacer (7),
    • first means (8) for connecting a first side (9) of the spacer to said side rail (1),
    • second means (10) for connecting a second side (11) of the spacer opposite the first (9) to said protective plate (4),
    characterised in that
    • said first and second connection means (8, 10) being designed respectively with the side rail (1) and the protective plate (4) so that the length (6) of said protective plate (4) is approximately parallel to the longitudinal axis (2) of the side rail (1) and in that, when they are connected, the three elements "side rail, spacer and protective plate" form an assembly which is approximately in an H and define two opposite grooves (12, 13), the bases (14, 15) of which are defined by the spacer (7), and the internal lateral edges respectively by parts of the side rail (1) and the protective plate (4),

  2. Jamb according to claim 1, characterised in that said spacer (7) is formed by a part which is approximately in the form of a U.
  3. Jamb according to one of the claims 1 and 2, characterised in that:
    - the second connection means (10) between the spacer (7) and the protective plate (4) have a degree of freedom in translation following said first given direction (3) and are approximately blocked following a second direction (23) which is approximately perpendicular to the first given direction, and
    - the second connection means (10) being formed by sliding means (30) which are designed for sliding following said first given direction (3).
  4. Jamb according to claim 3, characterised in that the sliding means (3) are formed by two complementary elements which are able to be inserted by sliding one in the other following said first given direction.
  5. Jamb according to claim 3, characterised in that the sliding means (30) are formed by two complementary hermaphrodite elements.
  6. Jamb according to one of the claims 4 and 5, characterised in that it comprises means (50) for applying an elastic force between the two said sliding elements following a third direction which is approximately perpendicular to the first and second directions (3, 23).
  7. Jamb according to any of the claims 2 to 6, characterised in that, when the base (60) of the U part defines the second side (11) of the spacer (7), the spacer (7) comprises at least one wall (61) which extends from said base, said extending wall (61) following the part of the protective plate (4) which defines the lateral edge of one of the grooves (12).
  8. Jamb according to claim 7, characterised in that said spacer (7) comprises furthermore a connection membrane (40) which connects the two lateral walls (41, 42) of the U part, said connection membrane (40) having at least one fold (43) in order to give it an elastic deformation.
  9. Jamb according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the first means (8) for connecting a first side (9) of the spacer (7) to said side rail (1) are formed by crimping means.
  10. Jamb according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that said side rail (1) has a cylindrical tubular shape.
  11. Jamb according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that it comprises furthermore a complementary profile (100) which is able to be disposed in one of said two opposite grooves (12, 13) so as to be protected from solar radiation by the protective plate (4), said complementary profile being that of a frame or an associated sliding frame.
  12. Jamb according to claim 11, characterised in that said complementary profile (100) is formed from an insulating material.
  13. Jamb according to claim 11, characterised in that said complementary profile (100) is formed from an insulating material associated with a metallic material, said metallic material being disposed on the interior side of the closing frame and said insulating material being disposed on the exterior side of the closing frame.
