Claims (19)

  1. A device for the presentation of spectacles (1), having a base body (2) and a plurality of receiving devices (3), supported by the base body (2), each to receive securely a respective pair of spectacles (1), wherein each receiving device (3) comprises at least one support member (4) on which to place the spectacles (1) and a securing member (5) for preventing removal of the spectacles (1) resting thereupon, and wherein the securing members (5) can be brought, together, from a closure position securing the spectacles (1) into a removal position releasing the spectacles (1),
    characterized in that the securing members (5) are pivotable away from the support member (4), from the closure position into the removal position.
  2. A device according to claim 1, characterized in that the support members (4) are preferably insertable into the base member (2) at predetermined points and can be arrested there and/or in that the support members (4) protrude substantially orthogonally from the base body (2) and/or in that the support members (4) are in the shape of rods or bars and/or in that the support members (4) are coated with plastics material or are covered by a tubular material, preferably made of plastics material.
  3. A device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the support members (4) have a preferably downward-curved support region (10) on which to place the bridge of the spectacles (1), wherein the support region (10) may comprise steps, corrugations or the like for secure positioning of the bridge.
  4. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the support members (4) have a stop region (11) preferably at the end as a stop for the free end of the securing member (5) or for the engagement thereof.
  5. A device according to any one of claims I to 4, characterized in that on the side of the base body facing away from the support members (4) and securing members (5) a side-piece support (7) is arranged for each pair of spectacles (1), wherein the side-piece support (7) may comprise an engagement region for insertion into the base body (2), a rod (8) protruding from the base body (2), and curved members (9), protruding to the side from the rod (8) on both sides, on which to set down the spectacle side-pieces (6), and wherein the side-piece support (7), at least in the region of the curved members (9), may be coated with plastics material or covered by a tube (22), preferably of plastics material.
  6. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the securing member (5) in the closure position preferably protrudes orthogonally from the base body (2) and in the region of the forward free end extends to the support member (4) and thus engages, in the bridge region, preferably with clearance, around a pair of spectacles (1) lying on the support member (4), wherein the securing members (5) may be hook-like, preferably angled through around 90°.
  7. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the securing members (5) are pivotable about a pivot axis located within the base body (2).
  8. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the securing members (5) are pivotable, together, via an actuating device (12), wherein the base body (2) may be in the form of a column and the actuating device (12) may be movable or able to slide within the base body (2) relative to an anchor member (13).
  9. A device according to claim 8, characterized in that the actuating device (12) is in the form of an actuating rod arranged to slide inside the base body (2), wherein the anchor member (13) may be in the form of an anchor rod fixedly arranged inside the base body (2) or wherein the anchor member (13) may form an integral part of the housing or profile section forming the base body (2).
  10. A device according to claim 8 or 9, characterized in that the securing member (5) comprises two pivot pins (14) protruding preferably orthogonally as a pair and engaging in pivot guides (15) formed as a pair in the anchor member (13) and in the actuating device (12), wherein the pivot guides (15) may be in the form of guide slots or guide recesses and wherein the guide slots or guide recesses of adjacent securing members (5) may be formed on opposite sides of the anchor member (13) and of the actuating device (12).
  11. A device according to any one of claims 8 to 10, characterized in that the actuating device (12) drops by gravity into the opened removal position of the securing members (5) and can be lifted into the closed securing position of the securing members (5) and fixed and arrested in both positions, wherein the movement of the actuating device (12) and of the securing members (5) may be resiliently damped.
  12. A device according to any one of claims 8 to 10, characterized in that the actuating device (12) can be lowered into the opened removal position of the securing members (5) via spring force, via an electric motor (20), or pneumatically or the like, preferably in a damped movement, and can be lifted into the closed securing position of the securing members (5) (or vice versa) and fixed and arrested in both positions.
  13. A device according to claim 12, characterized in that the drive for the actuating device (12) is arranged in or on the base body (2), wherein the drive may have an internal current supply, preferably a battery.
  14. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 13, characterized in that the securing members (5) can be arrested, preferably locked, in the closure position, wherein a relative movement between the anchor member (13) and the actuating device (12) may be prevented in order to lock the securing members (5).
  15. 1a device according to claim 14, characterized in that in order to lock the securing members (5) a bolt (16) is provided which acts from outside the base part (2) or in the actuating device (12), wherein the bolt (16) may be part of a mechanical or electrical or electromagnetic lock.
  16. A device according to claim 14 or claim 15, characterized in that the bolt (16) is preferably arranged in the foot region in or on the base body (2).
  17. A device according to any one of claims 13 to 16, characterized in that the drive for the actuating device (12) and/or of the bolts (16) or the lock can be operated by remote control, wherein the remote control operation may take place via HF signals with corresponding transmitters/receivers.
  18. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 17, characterized in that the position of the actuating device (12) is detectable and in that the base body (2) has associated with it a preferably battery-operated or battery-buffered acoustic and/or optical indicator, which in dependence on the position of the actuating device (12) indicates the closed position or the removal position of the securing members (5), and/or in that the base body (2) has associated with it a preferably battery-operated or battery-buffered alarm system (18) which in dependence on the position of the actuating device (12) can be set off, taking into account the state of closure.
  19. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 18, characterized in that the base body (2), for setting on the ground or on a table, is provided with a foot part or, for hanging on the ceiling or wall, with a corresponding fixing means, wherein the base part (2) may comprise a light source and at least one light outlet.
