Definitions
- the invention relates to a single-wing vacuum pump with a cup-shaped housing, a rotor rotatably mounted eccentrically in the housing, and a rotatably mounted in the rotor orthogonal to the axis of rotation wings, which rests with its wing tips on a working space defining inner peripheral surface.
- Vacuum pumps with such a construction are made, for example DE 18 13 132 A1 known. They have a housing in which a rotor is mounted, wherein the rotor is located within a working space. This working space is subdivided by a rotor displaceably mounted in the rotor in a suction chamber and a pressure chamber. In addition, the rotor is arranged in the working space such that it touches the inner peripheral surface of the working space with its circular cylindrical peripheral surface. In the immediate vicinity of this contact point are the inlet and the outlet of the pump. The suction chamber is thus formed by the edge of a wing tip and this point of contact. This has the consequence that the suction chamber increases as the rotor rotates until the next wing tip sweeps over the inlet.
- the invention is therefore based on the object to provide a single-wing vacuum pump of the type mentioned above, which has a better seal of the suction chamber.
- the critical point at which the rotor contacts the inner peripheral surface of the working space designed so that not only a linear contact takes place, but that the inner peripheral surface extends over a part of its circumference along the rotor or at this snugly.
- the inner peripheral surface is bulged over a part of its circumference radially inwardly in the direction of the rotor or offset radially away from the axis of rotation of the rotor, wherein the rotor then engages in this back staggered part.
- the part of the inner peripheral surface is provided with a recess.
- this recess engages the peripheral surface of the rotor, so that the rotor via a peripheral portion corresponding to this recess, abuts the inner peripheral surface, said peripheral portion is the seal.
- the recess may have a smooth or a structured surface, in particular be provided with transverse to the direction of the rotor sealing lips. As a result, a labyrinth seal is created.
- the recess has a radius which is less than or equal to the radius of the adjacent rotor. At the same radius a relatively constant sealing gap is created, which is sealed by oil. In the other case the sealing gap changes the gap height over its width, wherein sealing edges are produced at the ends of the sealing gap.
- the recess is designed partially cylindrical, wherein the radius of this part of the cylinder is greater by the height of the sealing gap than the radius of the rotor.
- a harmonious course and thus a simple production of the inner peripheral surface is achieved in that the transition of the part of the inner peripheral surface to the rest of the peripheral surface is continuous.
- the part of the inner circumferential surface and the remaining inner peripheral surface at the transition may have the same tangents.
- the bulged portion of the inner peripheral surface is formed in cross-section M- or W-shaped.
- the suction opening and / or the outlet opening is in the bulged, not covered by the rotor part of the inner peripheral surface.
- the intake opening provided in this part offers the advantage that the start of suction can already begin with a small volume. So the suction chamber does not work against a vacuum at the beginning.
- the outlet opening provided in the uncovered part of the inner circumferential surface has the advantage that it is slightly set because the outer flank of the M or W shape of the part of the inner circumferential surface protrudes slightly radially inward.
- a vacuum pump in which the housing 12 is shown without housing cover.
- the housing 12 has a suction port 14, which opens into an interior 16.
- a generally designated 18 rotor in which a wing 20 is mounted orthogonal to the axis of rotation 21 slidably.
- the rotor 18 has a rotor housing 24, with which it bears against an inner peripheral surface 22 of a working space 30.
- the rotor 18 passes through the bottom of the housing 12 via a drive opening and protrudes on the back of the housing 12 out so that it (by means of a drive, not shown) can be offset in the direction of rotation.
- the drive opening is provided with suitable sealing means so that neither lubricant can escape nor air and / or dirt can enter the interior 16.
- the interior 16 is divided by the wing 20 into a suction chamber 40 and a pressure chamber 42.
- the rotor 18 bears against the rotor 18 in the region of a part of the inner circumferential surface 22 designated as a whole by 32. This part 32 is located in the housing wall 36, which has a greater thickness there.
- FIG. 2 shows an enlarged illustration of the section II according to FIG. 1 with a plan view of the inner peripheral surface 22, along which the edges 34 of the wing tips 44 slide.
- the rotor 18 rotates in the direction of the arrow 46 (see FIG. 1).
- the part 32 is marked, which bulges radially in the direction of the rotor 18, which is not shown in Figure 2, in the interior 16.
- the part 32 is M- or W-shaped and has a rising edge 46 and a falling edge 48, which merge smoothly into the rest of the inner peripheral surface 22. Between the two flanks 46 and 48 there is a recess 50, which jumps back radially.
- the radius of this recess 50 is equal to or slightly smaller than the radius of the rotor housing 24. At this recess 50, the rotor housing 24 of the rotor 18 abuts and forms a sealing gap which is filled with lubricant.
- An embodiment also provides that in the rising surface 46, an outlet opening 52 and in the falling edge 48, a suction port 54 are provided, wherein the suction port 54 is connected to the suction port 14.
