Description

Stand der TechnikState of the art

The invention relates to a hammer brush for an electric machine according to the preamble of claim 1. document WO 02/50963 discloses such a hammer brush. Such a hammer brush for pivotal mounting on a brush holder of the electric machine usually has two leaf springs, a Befesügungsabschnitt for anchoring to the brush holder, an adjoining the attachment portion arm to which a carbon brush is attached, and one at the end of the arm to Attachment portion towards angled portion include. To ensure the required contact force of the coal to the commutator, a bias of the hammer brushes is required. In the radial assembly of the hammer brush holder, the prestressed hammer brushes are widened with the sections designed as joining aids, which are supported on the commutator. This results in a high Knickbclastung for the leaf springs of the hammer brushes, especially at the first touch of the joining aid with the commutator. The surface of the commutator can be damaged.

Vorteile der ErfindungAdvantages of the invention

The hammer brush for an electric machine with the features of claim 1 has the advantage that the assembly of the hammer brush holder simplifies the positioning of the coal improves the commutator and the spring crane tolerances is narrowed. For this purpose, a hammer brush for pivotable mounting on a brush holder of an electric machine is provided with a leaf spring, wherein the leaf spring has a fixing portion for anchoring to the brush holder, an adjoining the attachment portion arm to which a carbon brush is attached, and one at the end of the arm comprises angled towards the attachment portion towards resilient portion, wherein the portion is angled to the side facing away from the carbon brush side of the arm.

Preferably, the resilient portion is angled at least at an acute angle to the arm. This results in more precisely defined spring forces.

For the spring characteristic, it is advantageous if the arm and the resilient portion are connected to each other via an arc.

Characterized in that at the end of the resilient portion at the level of the carbon brush arched away from the arm, preferably arcuate, area is formed, the joining of the hammer brush is simplified into a single component.

If a stiffener is present along the arm, which is a bead, bent edges or an additional plate, thereby a tilting of the coals, which is initiated by the torque due to the spring force prevented.

A brush holder with two arranged on the brush holder, projecting from the brush holder hammer brushes, wherein the carbon brushes facing each other and the resilient portions facing away from each other, can be easily assembled. With such a brush holder, when the arms are not mounted, they are arranged substantially parallel to each other. Thus, the contact force on a commutator during assembly is very low and is applied only towards the end of the assembly process.

This assembly simplification also affects an electric machine with at least one such hammer brush. The same applies to an electric machine with such a brush holder, wherein the brush holder is arranged with the hammer brushes in a recess in front, wherein the hammer brushes abut a commutator arranged in the recess and wherein the recess has two side walls, against which the resilient portions , Furthermore, the assembly can be simplified if on the side walls joining bevels are formed for the resilient portions of the arms.

Further advantages and advantageous developments emerge from the subclaims and the description.

In the figure 1, an electric motor 10, which may also be a generator, simplified in a longitudinal section shown. The electric motor 10 can be used in a motor vehicle, for example in a Sitzversteller, windows, wiper drive, blowers, etc. The electric motor 10 comprises a housing 12 and an armature 14 arranged therein. The armature 14 has a shaft 16 and an armature package 17 with an armature winding, not shown. The armature winding is connected via wires 18 to a commutator 20. The commutator 20 is acted on the periphery of two hammer brushes 22 on two radially opposite sides. The hammer brushes 22 are arranged on a brush holder 24. The commutator 20, the hammer brush 22 and the brush holder 24 form a commutation 26. The commutator 20 and partially the hammer brush 22 are in a recess 28, which may be located for example in a transmission housing, respectively.

In FIG. 2, the commutation device 26 is shown in a side view from the left in relation to the longitudinal section of FIG. The brush holder 24, which is preferably made of plastic, extends substantially parallel to the shaft 16, which is not shown in detail in Figure 2; however, it may also extend perpendicular to the shaft 16. The brush holder 24 is arranged in the recess 28 with the hammer brush 22 ahead. The hammer brushes 22 abut with carbon brushes 30 on the commutator 20 arranged in the recess. The hammer brushes 22 in turn abut two parallel side walls 32 of the recess 28. The side walls 32 each have at their outer edge facing each other serving as joining aids insertion slopes 34th

The hammer brushes 22 for pivotable mounting on the brush holder 24 each include a leaf spring 36. Each leaf spring 36 includes a mounting portion 38, is anchored to the brush holder 24. The power supply of the hammer brush 22 takes place via the attachment section 38 or additional strands. An arm 40 in the form of a leaf spring connects to the attachment section 38. On the arm 40 and the carbon brush 30 is attached.

Preferably via an arc 42 with a 1 to 3 millimeter radius is followed by the arm 40 at the end of an attachment portion 38 and the brush holder 24 toward or in the direction angled resilient portion 44. The angled portion 44 is in the unassembled state (Figure 3) at an acute angle of 5 to 25 ° to the arm 40 angled. The resilient portion 44 is angled away from the side facing away from the carbon brush 30 side of the arm 40 out. At the end of the angled portion 44 approximately at the level of the carbon brush 30 is a weggewölbter from the arm 40, preferably arcuate, area 46 is formed. The area 46 essentially corresponds to a semicircle.

Along the arm 40, a stiffener 48 is present between the attachment portion 38 and the bow 42. The stiffener 48 may be formed as a bead or as the two side edge along the arm 40 may be angled. Also, a plate may be welded, for example.

The carbon brushes 30 are facing each other and the resilient portions 44 face away from each other. The arms 40 are used to pre-position the carbon brushes 30. When inserting the brush holder 24 and the hammer brushes 22, the angled portions 44 are first compressed by means of the arcuate portions 46 coming into contact with the chamfers 34 and tensioned. This can be done so that the carbon brushes 30 are pressed radially only to the commutator 20 without tangentially along this. As a result, the surface is not scratched. However, it may be permissible for the carbon brushes 30 to drag somewhat along the surface of the commutator 20. The arms 40 are pivoted only by the positional offset between the commutator 20 and the brush holder 24, which is why the stiffeners can be provided so well prevent a disturbing tilting of the carbon brushes 30, which can be initiated by the torque due to the spring force

The hammer brushes 22 can also be arranged in the recess 28 itself. The joining bevels 34 are then arranged in the counterpart, for example a plastic carrier or gear cover.
