Bei der Verwendung der Operationsleuchte 1 in einem System von mehreren Operationsleuchten besteht die Möglichkeit auszuwählen, ob die Betriebsparameter synchronisiert werden, d.h. dass z.B. bei einer Veränderung der Farbtemperatur einer Operationsleuchte die Farbtemperatur von einer oder mehreren weiteren Operationsleuchten auf den gleichen Wert geändert wird, was bei der Ausleuchtung von einem Operationsfeld durch mehrere Operationsleuchten sinnvoll ist. Mithilfe eines Schalters am Leuchtenkörper kann diese Operationsleuchte 1 bis 3 aus diesem Synchronbetrieb ausgeschaltet und autark eingestellt werden, ohne dass sich die Betriebsparameter bei der anderen oder den anderen Operationsleuchten 1 bis 3 verändern.
