Claims (16)

  1. Verdichter (10) mit einem verstellbaren Diffusor (30), wobei der Verdichter (10) Folgendes umfasst:
    ein Verdichterradgehäuse (14), das einen Einlass (24) zum Empfang eines Gases definiert;
    einen Diffusor (30), der sich um den Umfang des Verdichterradgehäuses (14) erstreckt und einen Fluidkanal (32) definiert, der mit dem Gehäuse (14) verbunden und zum Empfang des Gases von dem Gehäuse (14) konfiguriert ist, wobei der Diffusor (30) eine Innenfläche (34) aufweist, die zumindest teilweise den Kanal definiert, und der Diffusor (30) eine Fluidöffnung (40) definiert, die zum Empfang eines Steuerfluids konfiguriert ist,
    ein Spiralgehäuse (26), das mit dem Diffusor (30) strömungsverbunden und zum Empfang des Gases von dem Gehäuse (14) über den Diffusor (30) konfiguriert ist;
    ein drehbares Verdichterrad (12), das in dem Gehäuse (14) angeordnet ist, wobei das Rad (12) dazu konfiguriert ist, sich zu drehen und dadurch das Gas zu komprimieren und das Gas über den Diffusor (30) dem Spiralgehäuse (26) zuzuführen;
    eine verstellbare Diffusorwand (36), die in dem Diffusor (30) angeordnet ist, wobei sich die Diffusorwand (36) um den Umfang im Diffusor (30) erstreckt und eine erste und eine zweite Seite (38, 39) definiert, wobei die erste Seite (38) zur Innenfläche (34) des Diffusors (30) hin angeordnet ist und die zweite Seite (39) mit der Fluidöffnung (40) des Diffusors (30) verbunden ist;
    gekennzeichnet durch
    eine verformbare Membran (44), die zur Verbindung des Diffusors (30) und der verstellbaren Diffusorwand (36) konfiguriert ist, wobei die Membran (44) dazu ausgeführt ist, durch das Steuerfluid verformt zu werden, so dass die verstellbare Diffusorwand (36) gemäß einem Druck des Steuerfluids zwischen einer ersten und einer zweiten Position verstellbar ist, wobei die Innenfläche (34) des Diffusors (30) und die verstellbare Diffusorwand (36) in der ersten Position einen ersten Spalt dazwischen definieren und die Innenfläche des Diffusors (30) und die verstellbare Diffusorwand (36) in der zweiten Position einen zweiten Spalt dazwischen definieren, wobei der zweite Spalt größer ist als der erste Spalt.
  2. Verdichter (10) nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Membran (44) dazu ausgeführt ist, das Steuerfluid gegen den Kanal (32) des Diffusors (30) abzudichten.
  3. Verdichter (10) nach Anspruch 1, wobei sich die Membran (44) um den Umfang im Diffusor (30) erstreckt und einen radial inneren und äußeren Umfangsteil (50, 52) definiert, wobei mindestens einer der Umfangsteile (50, 52) mit dem Diffusor (30) verbunden ist.
  4. Verdichter (10) nach Anspruch 1, wobei der innere und der äußere Umfangsteil (50, 52) der Membran (44) mit dem Diffusor (30) verbunden sind.
  5. Verdichter (10) nach Anspruch 1, der weiterhin mindestens eine Dichtung (60, 62) umfasst, die zwischen der verstellbaren Diffusorwand (36) und dem Diffusor (30) angeordnet ist, wobei die Dichtung (60, 62) die Fluidöffnung (40) von dem Kanal (32) des Diffusors (30) im Wesentlichen strömungsmäßig trennt.
  6. Verdichter (10) nach Anspruch 1, der weiterhin mindestens einen Anschlag (58, 59) umfasst, der zwischen der verstellbaren Diffusorwand (36) und dem Diffusor (30) angeordnet und zur Begrenzung der Bewegung der verstellbaren Diffusorwand (36) in dem Diffusor (30) konfiguriert ist.
  7. Verdichter (10) nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Fluidöffnung (40) mit einem Ventil (70) verbunden ist, das dazu konfiguriert ist, die Fluidöffnung (40) gezielt mit der ersten und der zweiten Quelle (72, 74) strömungszuverbinden.
  8. Verdichter (10) nach Anspruch 7, wobei das Ventil (70) dazu konfiguriert ist, die Fluidöffnung (40) mit dem Spiralgehäuse (26) und einer Umgebungsdruckquelle gezielt strömungszuverbinden.
  9. Verfahren zum Verstellen eines Diffusors (30), der einen Fluidkanal (32) zwischen einem Verdichterradgehäuse (14) und einem Spiralgehäuse (26) bereitstellt, wobei das Verfahren Folgendes umfasst:
    Zuführen eines Druckgases von dem Verdichterradgehäuse (14) zum Spiralgehäuse (26) über einen Kanal (32) des Diffusors (30), wobei der Kanal (32) zwischen einer Innenfläche (34) des Diffusors (30), einer verstellbaren Diffusorwand (36) und einem drehbaren Verdichterrad (12), das im Gehäuse (14) angeordnet ist, definiert ist;
    Komprimieren des Gases und Zuführen des Gases zum Spiralgehäuse (26) über den Diffusor (30);
    Bereitstellen eines ersten Steuerfluids durch eine Öffnung (40) im Diffusor (30) für die verstellbare Diffusorwand (36), wobei das erste Steuerfluid einen Druck aufweist, der höher ist als ein Druck des Gases im Kanal (32), und dadurch Verstellen der Diffusorwand (36) zur Innenfläche (34), um eine Querschnittsgröße des Kanals (32) zu reduzieren;
    Bereitstellen eines zweiten Steuerfluids durch die Öffnung (40) im Diffusor (30) für die verstellbare Diffusorwand (36), wobei das zweite Steuerfluid einen Druck aufweist, der kleiner ist als der Druck des Gases im Kanal (32), und dadurch Verstellen der verstellbaren Diffusorwand (36) von der Innenfläche (34) weg, um die Querschnittsgröße des Kanals (32) zu vergrößern;
    gekennzeichnet durch Verformen einer Membran (44) durch das Steuerfluid derart, dass die verstellbare Diffusorwand (36) gemäß einem Druck des Steuerfluids zwischen einer ersten und einer zweiten Position verstellbar ist, wobei die Membran (44) zur Verbindung mit dem Diffusor (30) und der verstellbaren Diffusorwand (36) konfiguriert ist, wobei die Innenfläche (34) des Diffusors (30) und die verstellbare Diffusorwand (36) in der ersten Position einen Spalt dazwischen definieren und die Innenfläche des Diffusors (30) und die verstellbare Diffusorwand (36) in der zweiten Position einen zweiten Spalt dazwischen definieren, der größer ist als der erste Spalt.
  10. Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, wobei der Zuführungsschritt Drehen eines Verdichterrads (12) im Verdichtergehäuse (14) umfasst, wobei das Verdichterrad (12) dem Spiralgehäuse (26) das Gas durch den Diffusor (30) radial nach außen zuführt.
  11. Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, wobei die Bereitstellungsschritte Verstellen der verstellbaren Diffusorwand (36) und Verformen einer die verstellbare Diffusorwand (36) mit einem Körper des Diffusors (30) verbindenden Membran (44) umfasst.
  12. Verfahren nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 9 bis 11, wobei die Bereitstellungsschritte Verstellen der verstellbaren Diffusorwand (36) bezüglich eines Körpers des Diffusors (30) und Inberührungbringen mindestens eines Anschlags (58, 59), der mit der Diffusorwand (36) verbunden ist, mit dem Körper umfasst, wobei der mindestens eine Anschlag (58, 59) dadurch die Verstellung der verstellbaren Diffusorwand (36) begrenzt.
  13. Verfahren nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 9 bis 12, das weiterhin das gezielte Verstellen eines mit der Öffnung (40) strömungsverbundenen Ventils (70) und dadurch Bereitstellen der Steuerfluide für die verstellbare Diffusorwand (36) umfasst.
  14. Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, wobei der erste Bereitstellungsschritt die Strömungsverbindung zwischen dem Fluidkanal (40) und dem Spiralgehäuse (26) umfasst.
  15. Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, wobei der zweite Bereitstellungsschritt die Strömungsverbindung des Fludikanals (40) mit einer Umgebungsdruckquelle umfasst.
  16. Verfahren nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 9, 14 und 15, das weiterhin das gezielte Durchführen des ersten und des zweiten Bereitstellungsschritts gemäß mindestens einem Betriebsparameter des Verdichters (10) und dadurch Erweitern eines Betriebsbereiches des Verdichters (10) umfasst.
