Siège, en particulier pour véhicule automobile, comprenant un dossier (3) monté pivotant via des dispositifs d'articulation (4), présentant un corps rembourré (3) et un revêtement de siège (14) recouvrant ledit corps au moins partiellement, le dispositif d'articulation présentant au moins un élément de garniture (8) en saillie vers le haut, à partir de la base du siège (7) et s'étendant dans un logement en forme de rainure (6) ménagé dans le dossier, et y est relié articulé avec ce dernier. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que le bord inférieur du revêtement de siège (14) est muni, dans la zone du logement en forme de rainure (6), de moyens destinés à recevoir un élément de fixation (17) pouvant être raccordé avec la base du siège (7).
