Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a training device, in particular for building and strengthening the cervical spine and / or the neck, head and neck muscles.
Training equipment to strengthen the neck muscles are known from practice and are used in the private sector as well as in gyms. These are usually traction-applied devices that counteract the movement of the head. In the simplest case, the upper body and thus also the head of the exerciser is spent in a horizontal position. The head is preferably loaded with weights over straps so that the exerciser can make a movement against the force exerted by the weights. Although the muscles can be exercised or built up, training in the horizontal position is tedious. Not infrequently, tensions are the result, so that experts regularly advise against such training.
The present invention is therefore based on the object of specifying a training device, in particular for building and strengthening the cervical spine and / or the neck, head and neck musculature, in the application of which not only avoids tension, but existing tension, especially in the cervical area, be solved. The device should be particularly suitable for a preventive, rehabilitative and for a sport-specific training to strengthen the neck and neck muscles and provide a variety of training options with the simplest design.
According to the invention the above object is solved by the features of claim 1. Thereafter, the training device in question comprises a headband for securing to the head and at least one traction means extending away from the headband for gripping or mooring.
According to the invention, it has been recognized that the neck, head and neck muscles can be trained with simple means and built up or strengthened by the training. It can improve the mobility of the cervical spine and tension in the cervical area can be solved. This is achieved in that the training device includes an essential part of a headband for fixing on the head. It should be ensured that the headband can be arranged non-slip in the forehead of the head, best under Based on a sufficiently large voltage. Furthermore, the training device comprises at least one traction device extending away from the headband, which serves for gripping or fastening to a preferably stationary articulation point. In accordance with the invention, it is therefore possible to train the neck, head and neck muscles in a sitting or standing position, namely by grasping the traction device by the trainee himself or by a third person or by fixing it on a wall, a device or elsewhere, so that the exerciser can perform movements with the head against the force of the third person and / or the traction means. Since the traction device can extend at any point away from the headband, training movements in all directions are alternately possible, so that the relevant muscle groups can be trained on all sides.
Specifically, head movements are trained under tensile load with the exercise device according to the invention, namely head movements to the left and to the right, the inclination of the head to the left and to the right and the forward and backward tilt of the head. Already by gripping the traction device and by a corresponding movement of the head can be a tensile load of the head build. During training, the head acts muscularly against the train generated by the traction means. In addition, the head can perform movements against the resistance of the traction device. Tilting and turning movements can be combined as desired. It is also possible to increase the tensile force on the traction means, resulting in an increased training effect. Thus, different levels of difficulty can be realized according to the applied tensile force. In the light of the above explanations, the head exercise musculature can be exercised in particular by the exercise device according to the invention. Stretch, flexion, lateral tilt, or lateral flexion help to train more muscle groups around the neck to the floor muscles.
Advantageously, the traction means is designed as a drawstring, pull rope or pull rope. For all-encompassing training, it is conceivable that two or four traction means are provided, which preferably protrude symmetrically from the headband or extend symmetrically away from the headband. So it is possible, the head in relation to all-round movements, especially in relation to rotation, downright to tense, so that any movements against a tensile force are possible. This can achieve an optimal training effect.
Although the traction means can be made of any material, so that the required traction can be applied by muscle power of third persons or by end-side springs, it is particularly advantageous if the traction means are made of an elastic material. It is also advantageous if the headband is made of elastic material, namely to ensure a secure fit on the head, more precisely in the forehead area. Concretely, the traction means and / or the headband made of rubber or rubber, preferably made of latex, and / or neoprene. Any other materials can be used, in particular full-surface materials or even materials in the woven or knitted state, which have a sufficiently high inherent elasticity.
Both the headband and the traction means are preferably designed band-shaped, namely, consist of a thin, preferably 2 to 5 cm wide strip material. For example, rubber bands can be used as they have been used for muscle training for years. Such tapes are well known under the name "Thera-Band" and available in different thicknesses and widths.
With regard to a particularly simple embodiment, the headband and the traction means are made in one piece. Thus, the headband and the traction means may consist of a one-piece band, wherein the one-piece band can be assembled by deflecting and clamping via a clamp, clasp, buckle or the like to the headband and extending away from the headband traction means. In other words, it is possible to form the entire exerciser from a single one-piece band, with the headband - of suitable diameter with respect to the respective user - formed and resized via the clip, clasp or buckle. By pulling on the traction devices, the headband can be adjusted and fixed non-slip on the head. Instead of a clamp, clasp or buckle two or more brackets, clips or buckles may also be provided to ensure on the one hand a secure hold of the headband and on the other hand, the traction means at different To be able to determine places on the headband, so that they extend away from the headband at different points.
In addition to the one-piece design of the entire training device, it is possible that the headband is designed as a self-contained annular band. Either this tape has a sufficiently large elasticity and is universally applicable or it is offered with different diameters for different head sizes. In the context of such an embodiment, it is possible that the traction means is made in one piece, preferably as a one-piece band, and fastened to the headband approximately in the middle of its length. It is also conceivable that two of these one-piece bands are provided, so that a total of four traction means in the form of bands extend away from the headband.
The attachment of the traction means to the headband can be realized by different techniques. For example, it is possible for the pulling means to be fastened to the headband via a clamp, clasp, buckle or the like. It is also possible that the traction means is tied to the headband. Gluing or welding is also conceivable. In particular, when the traction means consist of a textile material or include such, it makes sense to sew the traction means to the headband or to sewn the traction means with the headband. Any other articulation possibilities can be realized, for example also via a needled felt connection.
As previously mentioned, the traction means may comprise one or two independent bands connected to the headband. Several traction means may be provided along the peripheral surface of the headband, namely to be able to realize a very special training effect with external articulation. In the provision of several traction means, it is conceivable that the traction means are connected at least in pairs at a common location or in close proximity to each other with the headband. It is also conceivable that the traction means are connected at a distance from each other with the headband, for example, arranged equidistant from each other along the circumference of the headband. In each case two of the traction means can be connected at opposite points of the headband with this, so that there is a symmetrical training effect.
If the training device is designed such that it is held for use or training of the exercising person, it is possible in a very simple embodiment that the traction means have free ends on which to seize the traction means or the Hands of the exerciser are to be wrapped. It is also conceivable that the traction means end hacks, loops or for external linkage hacking or other fastening means have or can be connected to these.
In principle, it is conceivable that a type of frame with at least two or four columns is provided for the training device, so that the traction means can preferably be fixed equidistantly to the person training on the columns of the frame. In a standing position of the exerciser, the head is positioned approximately in the middle and can be any movements of the head against the tensile force of the traction means perform. An optimal training opportunity with a simple constructed exercise equipment is created.

- Fig. 3
- in a schematic view of a third embodiment of a training device according to the invention, wherein a total of four equidistantly mutually arranged traction means extend away from the headband.
In the embodiment of a training device according to the invention shown in Fig. 1, a headband 1 and two traction means 2 are made or assembled from a single strip material. A buckle 3 serves to define the diameter of the headband 1 and allows the traction means 2 to extend away from the headband 1. At the free ends can be taken the traction means.
Fig. 2 shows another embodiment of a training device according to the invention, in which the headband 1 is formed as a self-contained band. The two traction means 2 are welded as band-shaped traction means made of rubber to the headband 1 or glued to it.
Fig. 3 shows a third embodiment of a training device according to the invention, in which a total of four band-shaped traction means 2 are provided. The traction means 2 are arranged equidistant from each other on the headband 1, so that an all-round articulation or fixation of the headband 1, for example in a frame, not shown, make. Optimal training opportunities are created, and it is also conceivable that in such an embodiment, the traction means 2 are taken in pairs or individually by hand, so that any movements against the tensile force of the traction means 2 are possible.
