Abstract

L'invention concerne un trottoir roulant, un trottoir roulant en rampe ou un escalier mécanique destiné à transporter des personnes, comprenant un dispositif de déplacement de personnes (1) conçu pour supporter et transporter des personnes. Une balustrade (2) s'étend à côté du dispositif de déplacement de personnes, sur toute sa longueur. Cette balustrade (2) comprend une courroie de type rampe (3) qui se présente sous la forme d'une boucle sans fin, et qui comporte une partie poignée supérieure (4) que le passager peut saisir d'une main en guise de support, et une partie retour inférieure (5). Un moyen d'entraînement (6) servant à déplacer la courroie de type rampe comprend : une poulie d'entraînement (7) qui est montée à l'aide de paliers à l'extrémité de la balustrade, de manière à pouvoir tourner autour d'un premier axe (8) de rotation, la courroie de type rampe étant courbée d'approximativement 180 ° entre la partie poignée (4) et la partie retour (5) sur la poulie d'entraînement, et ; un moyen de puissance (9) qui comprend un arbre d'entraînement (11) animé d'un mouvement de rotation autour d'un deuxième axe (10) de rotation pour faire tourner la poulie d'entraînement.
