Die Neuerung betrifft eine Schachtabdeckung oder einen Aufsatz nach dem Oberbegriff des Schutzanspruches 1.
Bei gattungsgemäßen Schachtabdeckungen oder Aufsätzen ist ein Deckel bzw. ein Rost über horizontale Auflageflächen einem Rahmen zugeordnet, welcher in den Boden oberhalb eines Schacht- oder Ablaufbauwerkes eingebaut werden kann. Für derartige Schachtabdeckungen oder Aufsätze bestehen Sicherheitsanforderungen, da zum einen hohe Lasten beim Überfahren aufgenommen werden müssen und andererseits der Deckel auch liegen bleiben muss, wenn dynamische oder impulsartige Belastungen auftreten. Dies kann zum Beispiel durch mit hoher Geschwindigkeit darüber fahrende Fahrzeuge verursacht werden. So wird bei Deckeln bzw. Rosten entweder die Lagesicherung durch ein relativ hohes Eigengewicht oder durch mindestens ein Drehgelenk, wahlweise in Verbindung mit Arretierungen an den gegenüberliegenden Seiten, erreicht.
Eine Schachtabdeckung oder ein Aufsatz mit einem Deckel oder Rost, welcher einen in einer zugeordneten Aussparung am Rahmen geführten Drehzapfen für dessen schwenkbare Lagerung besitzt, ist aus der DE 100 46 045 C1 bekannt. Dabei sind der Drehzapfen und die Aussparung nach Art eines zylindrischen Scharniers gestaltet.
Aus Unfallschutzgründen sollte bei Deckeln bzw. Rosten mit Drehgelenk eine Sicherung gegen unbeabsichtigtes Zuschlagen vorhanden sein. So ist beispielsweise aus der EP 0 349 752 B1 eine Abdeckung für eine Bodenöffnung mit einem Deckel oder Rost bekannt. Dabei sind Deckel oder Rost über einen zapfenartigen Fortsatz schwenkbar in einer Aussparung im Rahmen gelagert. An diesem als Drehzapfen dienenden Fortsatz ist an der dem Deckel oder Rost gegenüberliegenden Seite ein Versatz vorgesehen, welcher in der geöffneten, etwa vertikalen Position des Deckels oder Rostes diesen sichert, indem dieser hinter einen zugeordneten Versatz im Bodenbereich der Aussparung greift. Aus der Öffnungsposition, vorzugsweise mit einem Öffnungswinkel von mehr als 90 Grad, kann der Deckel oder Rost beim Schließen nur heraus bewegt werden, wenn man ihn in vertikaler Richtung anhebt und gleichzeitig in Schließrichtung bewegt, um damit die Sicherung, nämlich die Höhe des Versatzes, zu überwinden. Besonders bei großen Schachtabdeckungen mit hohen Deckelgewichten erfordert dies entsprechend große Kraftanstrengungen, teilweise sind sogar zwei Personen für ein sicheres Anheben des Deckels beim Schließen nötig.

Die neuerungsgemäße Schachtabdeckung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass am Drehzapfen des Scharniers, im Bereich zwischen dessen beiden geführten Enden und an der dem Deckel oder Rost gegenüberliegenden Seite, ein parallel zur Scharnierachse verlaufender, nasenartiger Vorsprung angeformt ist. Dieser sichert in der geöffneten, etwa vertikalen Position des Deckels oder Rostes denselben gegen unbeabsichtigtes Zuschlagen, indem er eine zugeordnete, parallel zur Scharnierachse verlaufende Erhöhung im Bodenbereich der Aussparung hintergreift.
Dabei besitzen die beiden geführten Enden des Drehzapfens am Deckel oder Rost im jeweils zugeordneten Bereich der Aussparung am Rahmen so viel Spiel, dass der Deckel oder Rost beim Schließen ohne Anheben, ausschließlich mit geringfügigen horizontalen Pendelbewegungen in Richtung der Scharnierachse, über die Erhöhung im Bodenbereich der Aussparung zu bewegen ist. Dazu muss in dieser etwa bei einem Öffnungswinkel von 90 Grad liegenden Position lediglich etwas Druck in Schließrichtung ausgeübt werden. Es ist so gut wie kein Kraftaufwand dafür erforderlich, und nach dem Überwinden dieser Zuschlagsicherung ist ein kontrolliertes Schließen von Deckel oder Rost sowie eine genaue Führung im Drehgelenk gewährleistet. Der Vorsprung am Drehzapfen und/oder die Erhöhung im Bodenbereich der Aussparung sind mindestens in Richtung der Scharnierachse ballig gestaltet oder besitzen zu den beiden Seiten hin abfallende Stirnflächen. Dadurch wird die nötige geringfügige horizontale Pendelbewegung in Richtung der Scharnierachse zum Überwinden der Zuschlagsicherung unterstützt.

Es entsteht ein sicheres, dauerhaft funktionierendes Scharnier mit selbstreinigenden Eigenschaften sowie einer guten Zuschlagsicherung, welche ohne Kraftaufwand von nur einer Person gelöst werden kann.
