Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method for the production of multi-part printed products by inserting at least one partial product in at least one sub-products side by side receiving folded main product, each one of several along a production line formed by feeder successively fed pockets of a conveyor falzvoran fed and for feeding with partial products Spreading the thighs is opened.
  • a method of this kind is by the EP 0 911 289 A known.
  • the main and partial products are produced for example by a system with a pressure rail and provided with multiple investors saddle stitcher and supplied, for example, in the scale flow the bags.
  • These partial products are also referred to as precursors, usually be available for processing before the main product.
  • the partial products may also be side dishes or the like.
  • the main product may include the current policy part and / or the sports part. To open the main product this is detected at a protruding gripping edge.
  • insertion of partial products into a main product without such a projecting gripping edge is not possible with this method.
  • the DE 24 47 336 A discloses a device for processing printed products, with which at least one precursor can be inserted into a printing main product.
  • the main products are each supplied to a pocket of a cellular wheel.
  • this cellular wheel has a plurality of expanding wedges, against which the main products are moved with a feed movement in the axial direction of the cellular wheel.
  • the pre-published US Pat. No. 4,046,367 relates to an insertion machine for the production of magazines, which has an outer main product, which is inserted in each case in a hanging pocket of a conveyor falzvoran, and at least one inserted into the main product subproduct.
  • an opening mechanism is provided, with which one wall of the pocket can be swiveled and the main product can be opened for inserting partial products.
  • the EP-A-1 371 501 teaches a method and an apparatus for producing printed products, in which a first printed product is inserted into a pocket of a conveyor on a processing path, and then subsequently inserted into a pocket of a conveyor for the purpose of inserting another product, the first product is opened.
  • the EP-A-0 554 801 discloses an apparatus for separating a plurality of juxtaposed, flexible sheets of products into two equal sub-products.
  • the device comprises a bag formed of two walls which is controllable into open and closed positions and a separating device for opening the products and clips for holding the opened products to the walls forming the clips.
  • the inventor has now taken on the task of creating a method of the type mentioned, with the reader-friendly printed products can be produced.
  • the method should enable high performance and be functionally reliable.
  • reader-friendly tabloids should be produced.
  • the object is achieved in the inventive method in that for the loading of the main product for opening along the frontal edge region corresponding recesses exhibiting leg of the main product of a the other leg of the main product resp. Part products on a pocket wall holding, movable staple part is interspersed.
  • main products as well as partial products can be arranged essentially as desired in the end product and thus the end product can be structured in a reader-friendly manner. Since the clamp part passes through the spread leg at a front edge area, a protruding gripping edge is not required. The method is therefore suitable preferably also for tabloids which are not provided with a gripping edge.
  • the partial products can be placed in any way in the main part by appropriately reaching through the clamp part. It is also possible to insert partial products into a partial product. However, it is also possible, for example, to insert a specific supplement in a sports section and another insert in a political section.
  • the recesses can be made particularly simple by stamping on the corresponding leg, for example.
  • the corresponding printed sheets are punched into a bag before inserting the product.
  • the production output is essentially not affected by this.
  • At least one partial product located in the main product is penetrated by a clamp part in an end-side edge region.
  • recesses are provided which can form a register. These recesses are interspersed on the one hand for structuring each of a gripper. On the other hand, these recesses are used in the final product as a register and especially as a handle register.
  • the recesses are correspondingly different depths and, for example, lead very easily to a side dish or a partial product.
  • the recesses are preferably open to the front side punched out. Such punching can be made easily and quickly. Preferably, these punched holes have rounded corners.
  • the main product consists of at least two sections.
  • the sections are preferably greiff-less and printed in one operation. At least a partial product is supplied to this main product.
  • the method is particularly suitable for the production of so-called tabloids, but is in principle also suitable for the production of so-called Broad Sheets.
  • Especially very extensive tabloids can be largely structured with the inventive method, which significantly improves the readability.
  • the inventive method which significantly improves the readability. For example, by using such a recess, for example, the sports part or the political part can be found immediately. For very large tabloids this was not possible. It is then also possible, for example, to remove the tabloid such a part, for example the sports part, very simply.
  • FIG. 1 shows a bag 4 a known conveying device of the printing industry, which has a front pocket wall 5 and a rear pocket wall 7, which are pivotally connected to each other via a hinge 6.
  • the bag 4 is open.
  • the pocket 4 can be closed by, for example, the rear pocket wall 7 is pivoted about the hinge 6.
  • the bag 4 may for example be a pocket of a pocket wheel, in which the printed products are moved parallel to the axis of rotation.
  • the pocket 4 of the conveyor open at the side and at the top.
  • a main product 12 is inserted from above.
  • the main product 12 has a fold 13 and parallel thereto an end-side edge region 15.
  • a leg S1 of the main product 12 is held with brackets 8 and 10 on the front pocket wall 5.
  • Another leg S2 is located on the inside of the rear pocket wall 7.
  • the main product 12 may consist of two sections 29 and 30.
  • the outer section 29 forms the current part and the inner section 30 the sports part of a newspaper or magazine.
  • the two sections 29 and 30 may be stapled or unstaffed.
  • the two brackets 8 and 10 are each pivotally mounted on a support 31 of the front pocket wall 5.
  • the pivoting takes place with a control device, not shown here, which has, for example, a suitable cam.
  • the brackets 8 and 10 each have a clamp portion 9 which forms an arm and which is tensioned against the inner side 11 of the front pocket wall 5.
  • the first clip 8 engages with its clip part 9 through a recess 18 of an end edge region 15 of a leg part 32 of the inner section 30 and bears against front leg parts 33 of the leg S1 of the product.
  • the leg S2 has a corresponding recess 16 at an end-side edge region 14.
  • This edge region 14 extends parallel to the fold 13 and has at a distance from the recess 16, a further recess 17 which is penetrated by the second bracket 10.
  • the recess 16 is penetrated by the clamp part 9 of the bracket 8.
  • the two recesses 16 and 17 are open to a front edge 19, which also runs parallel to the fold 13.
  • the recess 16 has according to FIG. 2 two corners 16a, which are preferably rounded to prevent tearing. This also applies to the other recesses.
  • the leg portion 32 forms part of the inner section 30 and is held on the front pocket wall 5, since a corresponding recess for the second clip 10 is missing.
  • the leg S2 is open, since it has two recesses 16 and 17, which are penetrated by the staple parts 9, 8 and 10, so that the leg S2 is not grasped by the staple parts 9, brackets 8 and 10. If the bag 4 is closed with the inserted main product 12, so pass through the brackets 8 and 10, the leg S2 accordingly. If the bag 4 is opened, the leg S2 falls on the rear pocket wall 7, since this is not taken as mentioned by the two brackets 8 and 10. Alternatively, leg S2 could be retained by clips (not shown) prior to opening the pocket on the rear pocket wall.
  • By different design of said recesses 16, 17 and 18 can be determined as the main product 12 is opened. Accordingly, it can be selected, where in the opened product a partial product is inserted.
  • the main product 12 can also consist of only one section, or even more than two sections that are stuck together. This will be explained below with reference to FIGS. 2 to 4 be explained in more detail.
  • FIG. 2 shows on the left a main product 20 formed from a section, which consists of two legs S1 and S2, which are interconnected by a fold 13.
  • the leg S2 has at the front edge region 14 an upwardly open recess 16, which could also be arranged on the head and / or foot side.
  • the two legs S1 and S2 are adjacent to each other created and are in accordance with the bag 4 not shown here Fig. 1 plugged in.
  • the first clip 8 is pivoted in accordance with the embodiment with the bag closed.
  • the bracket 8 passes through the recess 16 with its clip part 9 and thus abuts the leg S1. Now, if the bag 4 is opened, the leg S1 is fixed to the front pocket wall 5 and the leg S2 falls on the rear pocket wall 7.
  • the main product 10 is thus opened and in this now first a first product 21 and then a second partial product 22 inserted.
  • the resulting in this way printed product 1 or end product thus has the main product 20 and two inserted in this partial products 21 and 22.
  • the main product 20 forms an outer part, for example a newspaper.
  • the printed product 1 can be released and the bag 4 can be removed.
  • the first partial product 21 is partially visible through the recess 16 and can thus be taken quickly by the reader in a simple manner and removed from the printed product 1.
  • a main product 23 has two recesses 24 and 25 arranged at a distance from each other.
  • the main product 23 consists, for example, of two sections, as shown in FIG FIG. 1 is shown.
  • the recess 24 is deeper than the recess 25. If the main product 23 is grasped by the two clamps 8 and 10 by corresponding pivoting, then the first clamp 8 grips not only the leg S1 but also at least part of the leg S2. If both brackets 8 and 10 are closed, then only part of the leg S2 open. Between these partial legs, a first partial product 21 is now inserted.
  • the second bracket 10 is pivoted upward and at least part of the leg S2 and a leg portion 34 of the leg S1 are thus free and fall against the inserted first partial product 21 and against the rear pocket wall 7, not shown here Now, a second partial product 22 inserted, which thus comes to lie between the leg portion 34 and the remaining leg S1.
  • the first clip 8 is pivoted upward again and thus the printed product 2 or end product of the bag 4 can be removed.
  • the printed product 2 has two partial products 21 and 22, which are inserted at designated locations resp. are plugged in. These locations or positions can be determined by corresponding depths of the recesses 24 and 25.
  • the main product 23 may of course also have several leg portions and correspondingly different depths of the recesses 24 and 25. This will be explained below with reference to FIG. 4 explained.
  • leg portions S1 and S2 each have a plurality of leg portions 35 which have recesses 27 and 28.
  • the leg portions 35 are, for example, parts of nested sections, such a section may also be a precursor. If the main product 26 is grasped by the two clamps 8 and 10, then their clamp parts 9 reach through leg portions 35 of the leg S2. Thus, the leg portions 35 of leg S1 and remaining parts of the leg S2 can be separated. A first partial product 21 is now inserted and thus lies between leg portions 35 of the leg S2. If the second clip 10 is opened, so fall the remaining leg portions 35 of the leg S2 and leg portions 36 of the leg S1 against the inserted first partial product 21.
  • the method can thus be used to produce printed products which are readily accessible and clearly structured and contain, for example, a main product with several sections and precursors as well as inserts.
  • the main product and precursors may be stapled or unbonded individually and removed as parts in a simple manner from the printed product. If, for example, a reader of a tabloid is only interested in the sports section, he can now easily extract this part from the correspondingly structured tabloid.
  • the sports section may be provided with a supplement, which is particularly suitable for sports enthusiasts. The method makes it possible to produce such structured printed products with high performance.
  • the method described above can be carried out with a device which consists of a conveying device with a plurality of successively circulating pockets 4, which can be fed with a main product 12, 20, 23, 26 and partial products 21, 22 in order to form printed products 1, 3. wherein each pocket 4 in the opening region has at least one controllable clamp 8, 10 with a clamp part 9 which is movable to hold certain printed products.
  • the pockets 4 could be arranged to form a cellular wheel in a conveyor drum, such as a device according to the DE 24 47 336 A in which the printed products are offset along the axis of rotation of the conveyor drum and charged with a main product and partial products. Even with such an embodiment of the device, the pockets 4 resp. Cells have a plurality of brackets whose movable clamp members 9 are independently controllable.
