Die kontinuierliche Fördergeschwindigkeit bzw. die bei taktweiser Förderung vorgegebene Taktzeit muss sich daher nach der Bearbeitungszeit richten, welche in der bearbeitungsintensivsten Bearbeitungsstation für den bearbeitungsintensivsten Fahrzeugkarosserietyp benötigt wird. Claims (17)

  1. Painting installation for mass-produced vehicle bodies (102), wherein vehicle bodies (102) of at least two different vehicle body types are supplied in mixed succession to the painting installation (100),
    characterized by
    a painting section (110) for filler and/or top coat and/or top coat-base coat comprising at least one painting box (116), in which a fully automatic internal and external painting of vehicle bodies (102) of at least two different vehicle body types with filler and/or top coat and/or top coat-base coat can be carried out,
    wherein the dwell time of each vehicle body (102) in the painting box (116) is predetermined in a vehicle body type-specific manner and the complete internal and external painting of a vehicle body in the painting box (116) is carried out in each case in a single operation with the vehicle body stationary inside the painting box (116).
  2. Painting installation according to claim 1, characterized in that the painting section (110) for filler and/or top coat and/or top coat-base coat comprises at least two painting boxes (116).
  3. Painting installation according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that there can be undertaken in the at least one painting box (116) both a fully automatic filler application and a fully automatic top coat application and/or a fully automatic top coat-base coat application.
  4. Painting installation according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the painting installation (100) comprises a body-distributing device (144), to which are supplied vehicle bodies (102) that have been painted in the painting section (110) for filler and/or top coat and/or top coat-base coat, and by which vehicle bodies (102) are delivered selectively into one of at least two different continuous-flow driers (146, 148, 150).
  5. Painting installation according to claim 4, characterized in that the vehicle bodies (102) are delivered by the body-distributing device (144) selectively into one of at least three continuous-flow driers (146, 148, 150).
  6. Painting installation according to one of claims 4 or 5, characterized in that the vehicle bodies (102) can be supplied by the body-distributing device (144) to an filler continuous-flow drier (146).
  7. Painting installation according to one of claims 4 to 6, characterized in that the vehicle bodies (102) can be supplied by the body-distributing device (144) to a top-coat continuous-flow drier (148).
  8. Painting installation according to one of claims 4 to 7, characterized in that the vehicle bodies (102) can be supplied by the body-distributing device (144) to a top coat-base coat intermediate continuous-flow drier (150).
  9. Painting installation according to one of claims 4 to 8, characterized in that the painting installation (100) comprises a monitoring station (141) disposed upstream of the body-distributing device (144).
  10. Painting installation according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the painting installation (100) comprises a clear-coat painting section (162), which comprises at least one clear-coat painting box (164), in which a fully automatic internal and external clear coating of vehicle bodies (102) of at least two different vehicle body types can be undertaken.
  11. Painting installation according to claim 10, characterized in that the dwell time of the vehicle bodies (102) in the at least one clear-coat painting box (164) is predetermined in a vehicle body type-specific manner.
  12. Painting installation according to one of claims 10 or 11, characterized in that the vehicle bodies (102) that are to be clear-coated are conveyed out of the painting section (110) for filler and/or top coat and/or top coat-base coat through a top coat-base coat intermediate drier (150) into the clear-coat painting section (162).
  13. Painting installation according to one of claims 10 to 12, characterized in that the clear-coated vehicle bodies (102) are conveyed from the clear-coat painting section (162) to a body-distributing device (144), by which vehicle bodies (102) are delivered selectively into one of at least two different continuous-flow driers (146, 148, 150).
  14. Painting installation according to one of claims 1 to 13, characterized in that the painting installation (100) comprises an filler continuous-flow drier (146), wherein the vehicle bodies (102) that have passed through the filler continuous-flow drier (146) are supplied to the painting section (110) for filler and/or top coat and/or top coat-base coat.
  15. Painting installation according to claim 14, characterized in that disposed upstream of the painting section (110) for filler and/or top coat and/or top coat-base coat is a cleaning device (108), in which the vehicle bodies (102) are cleaned before they first enter the painting section (110) for filler and/or top coat and/or top coat-base coat and after they pass through the filler continuous-flow drier (146).
  16. Painting installation according to one of claims 1 to 15, characterized in that the vehicle bodies (102) are introduced into and removed from the painting box (116) at mutually opposite sides of the painting box (116).
  17. Painting installation according to one of claims 1 to 15, characterized in that the vehicle bodies (102) are introduced into the painting box (116) and removed from the painting box (116) at the same side of the painting box (116)
